First time ordering from here on the recommendation from a West Seneca local. Not too impressed, the food was edible but not very flavorful, some weird after tastes from the boneless spare ribs , crab rangoons tasted stale like they got dried out before they were fried. Pineapple fried rice could not have been any more bland. Pork fried rice wasn't worth the $4 up charge, I spit it out. The general tso was 6/10. Black pepper chicken was good 8/10. Tried a new place. Forgot to take a pic before we started eating. read more

Best kept secret as far as Chinese/Thai cuisine goes . Staff goes above and beyond , portions are huge , prices are more than fair . We got 2 pad Thai entree and spring rolls (2 huge ones ) and the bill was less than $40. You get complimentary wontons and sauce to start the meal and orange slices at the end . I'll definitely be back! read more

Consistent good Chinese food. Family owned. We get take out often and it's always fresh and very reliable

Don't sleep on this place, I just happened to notice this restaurant, we were warmly greeted, there was black tablecloths, tables were beautifully set. The owner explained the items we selected. We ordered an appetizer of bbq ribs with extra sauce, and they were definitely delicious, beey and broccoli, that was good, asparagus and shrimp I'm allergic to shrimp but I ate everything else. Our eyes was bigger than our stomachs, but I did sample the House Singapore Mei fun, which had pork, chicken, beef and shrimp, I just love the noodles. The food, service, ambiance was excellent. This us going to be my go to spot, and they also do takeout read more

We placed an order for Christmas dinner and having been here before we knew exactly what we were in for. A friendly smile greeted me upon walking in to pick up my order, being a holiday we knew it would be at least 45mins, we're just happy that they are open and I'm sure the nonstop flow of business agrees. The orange chicken, was phenomenal, crispy and saucy even having traveled in a container. The boneless ribs , a little light grill and the sauce , always a treat for the pallet. My littlest diner says they were super good, and I agree. read more

Wanted take out that wasn't pizza or pub food and stopped by per Yelp reviews. They were spot on! Adorable, friendly family running the restaurant; super affordable - $38 for 2 large meals and a side of pork fried rice; and delicious! All the veggies were cooked but still crispy, flavorful and not too greasy at all. A great change of pace! read more

Best place around to get Thai or Chinese food. Great pricing and awesome and friendly service.

Food was decent. Service was awesome and quick. Unfortunately there were three children being watching by the owners at after 8 pm. They had half the restaurant. Kids are kids. Loud and all over. Think they did the best they could but my dining experience would have been better without load children. read more

The food and the service were great! Restaurant was clean. Everything was fresh and there was plenty of of food.

First time there ordered the orange peel beef and it slapped! Went back the following week and ordered the same and it was tough to get through. Beef was non-existent. Was just over cooked deep fried batter balls couldn't get through it. Supremely disappointed as I thought I found my spot but consistency is a big deal for me. read more

I hate to be the outcast here, but I tried this place recently after being in the area and seeing great reviews on Google and Yelp. Online ordering was simple enough, I got the general tso lunch special with eggroll and rice ,it came to about $12. I went to pickup during the day, so there were very few people inside. Seemed cleaned and nice, a lot of space. The person who got my food was nice enough. The bag felt light and after opening my food I was surprised that the portion was smaller than I'm used to. Lots of sauce not a lot of real meat. I know it's lunch, but some places give more I guess. The flavor wasn't bad actually , but there was so much breading on the chicken I couldn't even enjoy it. I literally gave up because it was 90% breading and the eggroll was more like a spring roll. The rice seemed old. Personally I wouldn't go back, but it could have very well been just a bad day for them. read more

Always very Good service and food on was on time as stated online order. Has Lunch Specials

great food ... great service....my go to... when I am in the mood. highly recommend. very friendly staff.

Ordered by phone on a Saturday evening during the covid 19 crisis, food took about 35 minutes to be prepared. They were doing takeout only and have developed an interesting contraption to transfer the orders to customers in their vestibule without any physical contact. The transfer box has two doors, one on the restaurant side and one on the vestibule side, only one of which was open at any time. Ordered pepper steak and onions, beef fried rice, boneless spare ribs and general Tso chicken, all were good. Food was ready when promised. Restaurant was steady with orders but not crazy busy, will certainly return. read more

Pros: Restaurant was nice and clean! Loved the crunchy noodles, wonton soup, and kung pap chicken. Opportunities: Dishes for our small party were brought out +5 minutes apart. Egg rolls were all cabbage and no flavor. Sweet and Sour Chicken was not good, tasted like corn syrup over grocery store popcorn chicken. Parking lot was very dark. read more

Everything is delicious from there. Very friendly service. Been going there for 9 years, since I moved back to WNY

We finally decided to try this restaurant. It's small, but well set up. So, it's not too close together. Comfortable seating and booths. The restaurant and restrooms were EXTREMELY clean. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. I ordered kung pao chicken with added water chestnuts. No problems to customize my order. My dinner partner ordered garlic chicken. The food arrived very fast. Now here's why I only gave this 3 stars. There was very little chicken in both of our dishes. So much so, we left hungry. Beware of how much vegetables are added to your meal, because it was disproportionate. Also, I'm sure that our meals were loaded with sodium, but we both found them to be almost tasteless. There were 3 kids that were being watched by the hostess, who was super nice. But the kids were running around, sometimes crying and being loud. It was distracting and detracted from our meal. All in all, we both rated this a solid C. Hence, 3/5 stars. read more

Sadly there is not many chinese places open on Monday, and after walking 20 miles (not a typo) on my day off I wanted some food to rebuild my strength. I've driven by Asian star many times and finally decided to give it a try. I ordered online which was very easy. First thing I noticed was this place isnt cheap, was in the mood for white/fried rice and some egg rolls. Each egg roll was 2.50, white rice was $4 and a large fried rice was $14.50, which is way above average for the area. I still ordered my food, requesting the fried rice be spicy. I'll say everyone at restaurant is so nice and its super clean. I waited for my order, which came out in a box, which I dont love because driving home is always nerve racking when the food is just sitting out. Any how the food. I wish I could say I loved it but I just liked it. Egg rolls were ok, lots of cabbage but very small and not a ton of flavor. White rice was tasty but for $4 it wasn't super filled. Fried rice was ok, it wasn't spicy to me, it had good flavor but not alot of chicken/pork/shrimp. Now if the prices were cheaper this place would get a better rating, when it cost almost 25 for 2 rice and 2 egg rolls, I expect great. read more

I cannot speak for the quality of the food because I didn't get that far nor will I ever in the future. I will never step foot in that place again. I walked into the restaurant at 3:00 even. There was a customer ahead of me placing her order. When a tried to order a luncheon special, I was told it was after 3 and I could not have the lunch specials. It was 3:02! I politely tried to reason with the girl without any success. I asked to see the manager/owner. she refused to allow me. very poor customer service. Never again! read more

Classy little Asian joint. They serve you crunchy noodles and a pot of hot tea when you visit. They offer a lunch special menu that is available until 3pm and most entrees are $6. That said the portions are about half of the full entree price which will run you between $12/13 and you get a choice of soup. Quite a bit more costly then other local places. I got the General Tso's chicken. (Because I am a Gringo and that's what we typically order lol) and the soup I chose was egg drop. The egg drop was very tasty and the general tso's was crunchy in a good way but the sauce was extremely sweet. Too sweet for me and the person I was with too. (Mom =) All in all not a bad little spot. The inside was fresh and private and the server was nice. He asked twice if everything was okay but nothing was taken off the table until after we left. Oh well. 3/5 read more

So this would fall into the category of "my mistake" , I was hungry for Chinese and Asian Star came up close by. All I wanted was for something quick and normal "Chinese take out" lunch special fare. What I didn't notice is that they advertise themselves as "Asian Fusion" I was warmly greeted and seated quickly, the gentleman who served me was super friendly and you definitely get a warm feeling sitting there. I ordered the Sesame Chicken lunch special and it was not what I expected, the chicken was thin strips deep fried and the sauce was certainly not your usual " Sesame Sauce" Maybe its the fusion aspect and maybe others would like it, but I was left a little underwhelmed and wanting more substance and flavor. Give it a shot...but I probably wouldn't be back again myself. read more
