Don't get me wrong, the people who work for Ameriside are wonderful, and they worked beautifully with the HERO program, but the product (in terms of the siding) looks incredibly cheap up close. My front patio looks like it was built for a mobile home park. There are seams that make it really obvious that this is thin plastic rather than wood, the wood slats that they use at the corners are tacky, and the plastic moves under your fingers. I would recommend that if you want to use this product, go see how it looks on other people's homes first. read more

AMAZING!! Where to begin...I took four months to research siding contractors because I refused to settle for "just ok". Tobey came out to the house and offered the first bid. He was very professional and friendly, not pushy or "salesy". He was prepared to take measurements and show me potential problem areas, then explained thoroughly what they would do for me given the job. He set the bar very high that day, as nobody else even came close in professionalism or experience. Four months later I circled back to them as I was done collecting quotes. Dave (owner) called me back personally to refine their quote as they were a little on the high side in the beginning (although you get what you pay for) and came out to the house to walk through all the options and answer all my questions. It was like having family over...he was great. I ended up adding a French door, front patio cover, and deck prep to the deal after talking with Dave. They started the job immediately with an incredible crew of very experienced, professional, and seasoned guys who were also very personable. Chang is a master at his trade...his attention to detail was impeccable. He is not satisfied with anything until and unless it's done well and correctly (think water tight, leak integrity, aesthetics, etc). Gerry and Jose were also very skilled and experienced, and great to be around. They always showed up right at 8am, cleaned up every day, always came when they said they would, and were very responsive to any questions and concerns along the way. They finished our house and separate garage in mere weeks. Today is our first warm day of the year, and we are so thrilled and amazed that the Certainteed Siding that we chose based on on Dave's consultation is keeping the house as cool as if the AC was on, even though we have not turned it on. The patio looks AMAZING, and the French door gave our kitchen a whole new look. Robin was also so kind and patient working with me as I arranged for payment. I had some technical difficulty and needed a couple extra days to make arrangements, yet she was never threatening or rude. It is VERY difficult to find reputable, professional, dependable companies in any trade these days, but I am confident that you will not find a more upstanding company to work with if you are in need of siding, or anything else they offer. Got siding measurements and a price that was well-below of what we expected. The installation team of Chen and Alex were the best. They cleaned up every day (took 3 days of installation). I purchased some replacement outside lights for my garage that were white. When I looked up and saw that Alex and installed the lights for me....he had taken the time to paint them a matching color of some of the trim that matched perfectly. I called Ameriside to get a quote on house siding. Dylan came out and after some measurements and discussions, he gave us the amount of how much it is going to cost us. Their pricing was reasonable, but we were still surprised, I guess because we just had no idea how much siding costs nowadays. So, we told him we would think about it. He gave us an extension on the quote with the discount and we truly appreciated that, but I had to call him back because we couldn't afford it at this time (especially finding out that my husband could be losing his job soon plus our son is starting college next year). Working with Ameriside was an absolute pleasure. I used HERO financing and the process couldn't have been smoother. HERO worked directly with me to find the perfect terms for repayment that were reasonable. After a couple of quotes for windows and sliding door, I decided to go with Ameriside based on their reviews and how Jeremy presented me my options during my quote. Also, the fact that they were able to replace my backyard patio cover under the HERO program as well was a plus for me. The crew had some difficult tasks when it came to removing my old windows since they were wooden frames, (not your normal windows) however they did a remarkable job. I also had a garden window that many quotes required me to have the granite completely removed, however, Dave suggested they can cut the granite and install a window with no problem, and they sure did the impossible. The windows & sliding door look flawless. Jose and his crew worked extremely hard for three days to complete the job. They were efficient and very clean. They would tidy up the place after each day of work. They were punctual and on-time to get things done. Giovanni (not sure how to spell his name) and his partner did a GREAT job installing the patio cover. They were quick to finish the job, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. They installed two power outlets as well as ceiling fans I had previously purchased from Lowe's. We are excited to host some backyard gatherings now. I did get an estimate from a few company to replace my windows of my condo. I went with Ameriside because from the beginning when I called, Jacki helped me on the phone for appointment, then Jeremy, the salesman, was very honest. He gave me 20% discount which was great. The old windows in my Condo were so outdated and falling apart that I decided to have them replaced no matter what the cost. Moving into Laguna Niguel first thing you notice is the houses are too close! And single pain windows do not block any sound. We had a few quotes for dual pain replacement windows and had some reservations on how they would look when complete. Jeremy & Dave came out and showed us their installation pictures / product. They took the time to explain the entire install process and showed us pictures of what the final install would look like when complete. They gave a us a great quote and we hired them. Workers arrived on time and started right away...finished 5 of the 10 to be done in 3 1/2 hours and then took a 30 minute lunch break. Then came back and finished the remaining 5 windows. DO NOT USE this company!!! We called for a patio estimate and the owner came out. He gave us a quote and tried to upsell us on everything from windows to artificial turf and said his company can do it all. We were talking to our neighbors who happened to use Ameriside for their patio and windows. They said he outsourced the work, screwed up their windows which now leak, and didn't fix it. They held off the rest of the payment to get it fixed from someone else and then Ameriside put a lien on their house. I then called another patio company same area for a patio quote and mentioned the Ameriside quote. They laughed and said they are very aware of complaints they get from those customers and yes Ameriside does subcontract all their patio installs. He also gave me a quote for less. I later called the owner out on it and he said he has never put a lien on a house and honest contractors never do that. I looked it up since it is public search (cr ocgov com / recorderworks/) and they have put 4 liens on people's houses in the past year and a half. What a dishonest company. read more

I met with Dave from Ameriside because I wanted to upgrade some of the windows in my home. Dave was very helpful in guiding me to the best windows for my home. Due to the way my home faces I get a lot of direct sun to the front and all the rooms at the front of the house got very warm in the summer months. In addition, I live very near the freeway so noise was a major factor. After going over all my options I decided to replace most of my windows at that time. Just had 2 bathroom windows replaced, the salesperson Jeremy, the installer Jose and his son and Mike who did the measurements were great they rate a 5. The office staff was not so good, the windows were not correct when received at the office, I was told by the installer that Jackie in the office would be calling me to advise when the replacement would be installed. I had to call the office because no calls from your company. All calls regarding the new windows had to done from my side. Very disappointed in the follow through from the office staff. My wife and i bought a house a little over 5 years ago. This past summer we decided that it needed some updating, the tope color was more of a peach color than anything else. My wife is very particular on who to use. We had several people come in and bid on the job, all of them were the typical salesman type who seemed more about the sale then the job. Then we met Dave. When Dave made his presentation, it didn't feel like a sales call, it genuinely felt like he was excited about doing the job as much as we were. He gave us the price which was the best price of all the others. They completed text coat and the closing in of the eves only to see that if was so well done that we needed to replace vinyl siding. Thank you Jeremy for your patience! We contracted Ameriside to replace the deteriorating siding on our home. We were in the process of listing our home for sale and had a very tight window for the work to be completed. Ameriside was able to fit us into their schedule and get the job completed by our deadline. The material we originally ordered was not guaranteed to arrive within the time allowed. Ameriside diligently worked to provide a solution to meet our needs. Throughout the process, there were a few hiccups along the way, however Jeremy was great in providing updates and communicating promptly. Upon completion of install, changes had to be made to our original agreement in order to accommodate our schedule. Even through we were hiring another contractor to complete the work, Jeremy followed-up to make sure we were taken care of and would be able to get all work completed within our time constraint. The 3-day job was seamless! The workers arrived on time each day. They were courteous and friendly, communicated what they would be doing each day, and cleaned up at the end of every day. Very impressed with this company! We needed a new slider and window for a rental in Mission Viejo. The owner, Dave Palmer, came right out and did the measurements and then met with us to discuss which products to get. Really good pricing, beat a couple of other estimates that we had gotten. They were quickly approved by the HOA (always a good sign) and ordered the items right away. Once they received the window/slider they contacted me and put me on the schedule right away. We had brand new tenants and I wanted to get these installed as quickly as possible. The installers showed up on time and worked tirelessly to get the job done. They redid the threshold of the slider since the old one was crumbling away, and put in brand new trim around it as well. Beautiful job, much better than I was expecting. The men also cleaned up after they were done, no dust, mess, trash left behind. The office followed up with me to make sure I was happy.
