Granted, we had already been in, but they had made an announcement to check out their original location for more seating options, so went to see if there were more tables for the large party we were expecting. The bouncer was doing an extremely poor job of enforcing the line outside the bar, as there were many people trying to cut their way to the front, and nothing was being said to them neither by the bouncer nor the cops at the establishment walking by, until it eventually led to a brawl between many people at the entry way. At some point during the game, the business could've made an announcement that no more people would be let in, so we didn't waste our time waiting in line the entire game, but nothing was ever said! Other than the fire marshals were not allowing anymore entires, yet a handful of "VIP's" were being escorted in by the manager & by the cops themselves. I'm only giving a 1 star review because ZERO was not an option. Never returning to this establishment again.

Named after Astros legend…read moreCraig Biggio, the restaurant fully embraces Houston sports culture, with memorabilia, massive screens, and an atmosphere buzzing with excitement. From the moment you walk in, the energy is contagious. Crowds gather around towering floor-to-ceiling screens while conversations, cheers, and game-day excitement fill the air. During our visit, a FIFA match between the Netherlands and Switzerland was on. We honestly could not imagine a better place to watch it. These screens are so enormous that even a casual sports fan like me found myself completely engaged. The space itself is impressive. The two-level venue is massive, with a central bar downstairs surrounded by seating and screens seemingly everywhere you look. Upstairs, accessible by either a steep staircase or the elevator (we happily chose the elevator), you'll find a smaller bar, roped-off VIP areas, and additional seating facing yet another gigantic screen. The scale of the entire operation is remarkable. After exploring both levels, we settled downstairs at the main bar to soak in the atmosphere. While my friends focused on the adult beverages, I focused on the food. The menu goes well beyond typical sports bar fare. Alongside burgers, wings, and nachos, there are brisket dishes and elevated comfort-food options. I ordered the salmon sandwich with fries, and it exceeded expectations. The salmon filet was generous, flavorful, and topped with shredded green and purple cabbage that added freshness and crunch. The fries were crispy with just the right amount of seasoning. Service was friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit. Biggio's delivered a memorable experience: colossal screens, surprisingly good food, an energetic crowd, and, best of all, quality time spent catching up with friends.

We were welcomed warmly, sat immediately, and were impressed by the ambiance. The staff and service were wonderful. I think it's supposed to be a bar and grill, but it appears more upscale than your normal bar and grill. The food and drink selection was a healthy mix of anything anyone could want. The chicken tender basket was beyond incredible (plump and juicy) and the breading was perfection. The salads were great. The burgers were also amazing. Overall, I'm glad the rain forced us to attend Biggio's. I would've hated missing out on this restaurant literally attached to the Event Center.

It was also Orbit's birthday, and the giveaway (an Orbit jersey) was gone within 30 minutes. We missed out. Parking is back to being reasonable. I remember when it was $50 after they won the World Series. We park a few blocks down (a whopping 90 cents per hour) and get a few extra steps in. I will say the best thing that's happened is them allowing you to bring your own food and water bottle. Check the bag requirements and restrictions, but it really helps cut ballpark prices for families. We brought CFA in with us, as well as a variety of snacks. Though pricy, El Tiempo Cantina margs are amazing - as always. Go Stros!

My first impression was total sensory overload in the best possible way. Everywhere you look, there's Astros gear, vendors, and fans proudly decked out in orange and navy. The massive team store alone could keep you occupied for hours. With seating for more than 40,000 fans, the sheer size of the crowd was impressive. As an added bonus, the first 10,000 ticket holders received a free Carlos Correa bobblehead. This visit was part of a girls' weekend packed with fun, including an Astros game and even a bodybuilding competition. It made for a memorable mix of adventures. Food options go far beyond traditional ballpark fare like hot dogs and nachos. Fans can enjoy favorites such as Whataburger, Chick-fil-A, Pluckers, and Blue Bell Ice Cream from nearby Brenham, Texas. It also happened to be Barbie Day, and the Upper Concourse bar got into the spirit with themed drink specials. The Astros faced the Cleveland Guardians, and although the Guardians came away with the win, the game itself was only part of the total experience. Between the electric atmosphere, enthusiastic fans, and nonstop entertainment, Daikin Park delivered a fun and memorable day at the ballpark for our girls trip.

The biggest red flag? Patron vehicles being towed under circumstances that appear predatory and poorly communicated. Multiple customers--including myself--were blindsided by towing while actively patronizing the business. There was little to no clear signage, no warning, and zero accountability from staff. Whether or not it technically skirts the law, it feels deceptive and hostile to customers. Inside, things don't improve. Service is painfully slow and indifferent, as if the staff would rather you weren't there at all. Orders are forgotten, drinks sit empty, and requests are met with eye rolls instead of help. You get the strong sense that customer service simply isn't a priority. Then there's the cleanliness--or lack of it. Sticky tables, dirty floors, and restrooms that look like they've been neglected for far too long. It's hard to enjoy food or drinks when you're questioning how often anything gets cleaned. Between the towing fiasco, the poor service, and the grimy environment, Cedar Creek Bar & Grill feels less like a neighborhood hangout and more like a trap for unsuspecting patrons. Houston has too many great bars and restaurants to waste your time--or risk your car--on this one. Not recommended.

Pros: - Making reservations was easy and the staff was really helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. I asked a lot of questions because I've never booked a birthday party like this at Main Event, or anywhere in general. - We got a party host to help transition and communicate with us throughout the 3 hours we were there. This helped because she kept us up to date about our rooms. She even carried our cakes, party favors, and gifts to our room while we were bowling. - She was also very sweet, patient, and kind. She never had an annoyed or frustrated look on her face. She did things with a smile the entire time! - Probably because we had a large party, but we had our meal in a private room, instead of one of those long tables. This made it more intimate, spacious, relaxing, and quiet. It also helped keep the kids together because there were 20 of them! - The sliders, fries, and fruit (we had orange slices) is the biggest bang for your buck in my opinion. The fries were amazing! They were the perfectly salted and crispy. The sliders were a tad dry and really needed condiments. However, I was glad that they had another option besides pizza. - During cake time, our party host provided a lighter and even cut the cakes for us. - We were provided lockers to store the gifts so we didn't have to carry it around during the arcade time. - The three hours of activities and food combination was the perfect amount of time. The 500 VIP points was also helpful so my boys could grab something from the store to make their birthday a little more special. My boys and their friends had a LOT of fun! Cons: - We only had one party host to accommodate 30+ people, so you can imagine how slow service was at times. She did the best she could, but I think having another person would have helped. We had unlimited drinks, so she was constantly getting our drink orders. I was so thirsty at one point, but felt so bad for her that I didn't even ask for water. - We had 1 hour of bowling before we headed to the private room for food. I think it would have been easier and better if it was fully supplied. There were no napkins, utensils, or condiments. The pizza was already there and we were just waiting on the sliders, fries, and fruit. Once the first set of sliders and fries came, we started to serve with our hands and used plates as tongs to grab the fries. It wasn't until several minutes later when the second set of sliders/fries came that tongs arrived. - Also, the party package said that there would be condiments on the side, but nothing was provided. We had to ask for ketchup twice before it came. I think to make things easier, the party host should have been provided a rolling cart to carry multiple things so she didn't have to keep running back and forth. Also, Main Event should really consider providing pitchers of water/drinks so we can serve ourselves. It would have been a lot faster and more efficient. - The math wasn't mathing when it came to the sliders. I paid for 18 kids, but we got 32 sliders. So either we got extra sliders, or we were missing 4 sliders. In the end it didn't matter because the amount of food was enough. - We are not allowed to bring outside food so we HAD to purchase extra food for the parents. We got three pizzas and it was so expensive! It was basically $60. - I did not anticipate having to pay for service fees/tip. I wasn't angry about tipping my party host. I think she did the best she could and deserved a tip. I was just surprised about the service fee and felt put on the spot about tipping. Like I said, I've never done this before. Basically it made everything about $100 more expensive. *The cons are mainly because of the price and hiccups we had during our time of eating.* Overall, the place is super expensive. $17.99 a kid is not bad in general because it includes 1 hour of activity, food, and $10 play card. However, it does add up quickly when hosting for a birthday party. I think it would be more reasonable if the price went down if you have more than 10 kids or something. What makes it incredibly expensive in the end is the service fee, tip, and having to pay for extra food. I think for the price you pay, the service could be a lot better and more organized. This is speaking in general, and nothing against our party host specifically. The place was PACKED when we went. However, since the place is gigantic, it wasn't that crowded when you walked around, which was nice. If anything, it added to the fun and festivities. In the end, my boys had a great time and so did their friends. I didn't have to clean or cook, so that took away a great deal of stress as a mom. Would I ever do this again? Probably not, unless there was an amazing deal going on.
