He was professional and did an amazing job cleaning our carpets. His pricing is reasonable, and add the 10% Yelp discount, and I'd say he's a bargain. His minimum is $60. He just left the house and left us with detailed instructions / helpful hints regarding our now very clean carpets. The next day we went to the house to check the carpets and the carpets were slightly crunchy if that makes sense and there was still a stain where the bed outline was nothing crazy just everyday wear which should be able to be cleaned. My husband reached out to the owner to let him know about them being crunchy and the stain from everyday wear next to where the bed was still there. Immediately the owner responded by defending himself and his work then moved on to blaming us using past carpet cleaners and finally offered to come back out saying the stain in the outline where the bed was just wouldn't come out. We left it at that and didn't bother responding because we realized we made a huge mistake going with this company! We ended up hiring a reputable carpet cleaning company and our carpets are as soft as when we first bought the house, oh and the stain where our bed was is now completely gone! I was impressed that they were upfront about the challenge of trying to remove pet urine from carpets. I feel like other companies may promise more than they can feasibly deliver in this arena. I decided to go ahead and have them come out. The tech, Alberto, was very professional and friendly, and the cleaning was done so quickly. He did a thorough job and instructed me on how long to keep furniture and pets off the carpets until they dried. He also threw in the cleaning of an area rug at no charge! I was so appreciative of that. My carpets looked and smelled so much better and they still look great two weeks later. The price was affordable, as well. Full disclosure: I chose Sunset because they're my neighbors; I had seen the van on my street so often they were easily the first company I thought of when I realized I needed my carpets cleaned. Our Technician was Raul who was absolutely fabulous!! He arrived before estimated time and was friendly and professional. I did a 'walk-through' with him of the rooms as well as answered any questions he had for clarification. BF and I were able to relocate ourselves to other areas of the house to continue working remotely while Raul worked his magic. He was very thorough and used blue plastic booties (shoe covers) once carpets were steamed and still damp. Gave us a few pairs as well to use while rooms were drying. End results exceeded my expectations as my house was so sparkling clean and smelled so crisp!! Shade of my carpet was much lighter after treatment; indication of how filthy they actually were!!
