Rates seem to increase arbitrarily, and there is no willingness to work with customers, even when the facility is not at full occupancy. It's frustrating to see a business risk losing a long‑term customer over a small amount, especially when maintaining relationships should be a priority. The staff has consistently come across as rude and unhelpful. While the building is climate‑controlled, it's far from high‑end. The carts are broken, the units are dark with no lighting, and overall, the facility lacks attention to customer experience. In short, the service and management have made this a disappointing place to store my belongings. After making a complaint to the district manager, it is evident that the rates are more important that customers and I will be removing my items asap. I would recommend accessible bathrooms (if they're here there's nothing that's clearly labeled so that I've seen it - I've been here probably 100 times since 2024). 2. I would recommend adjusting the passcode so that instead of having to put in eight numbers and two special characters every time (every single time I walk in and out, I have to re-input my long passcode).. and I totally understand why the doors are closed so quickly but that becomes pretty tedious and annoying after 4 or 5 trips into the facility. I would suggest making an adjustment within the technology so that somehow an individual has maybe an hour of time, (or some amount of established window of time) that they can punch in possibly their own special (personal) pin like a 1234 (for example) over the next hour and that's affiliated with my account so I can access the entry easier. All I'm saying is at the end of the day punching in 2 special characters and eight numbers when the doors are only open for (maybe) 20 seconds (I timed it and it said 16 seconds but I'm thinking that's probably not accurate) or so, it's kind of annoying. But that's the only 2 critiques I've got, I definitely wouldn't go anywhere else for storage needs. I would be fully remiss not to mention (and I wish I knew her name off the top of my head) but the lady who manages this facility in Burlington, she's fantastic, I've been a customer for over a year and anytime I've spoken with her, she's always been super helpful kind/welcoming, I literally have no complaints there. She clearly cares about her role and this facility and that shines through very well, so great job! She's a womenfolk representative for extraspace storage, both as an employee and a representative for your brand.

This was the eighth time I have had to do an interstate move. They are a little more stressful than…read morea neighborhood move. You have to KNOW what you packed and you n what box. Even if you label things clearly there isn't a mover on the planet that will follow the directions. Your only hope is that they are professional, nice, and willing to follow your instructions. I lucked out with this move. First, and I am NOT one of those who gets hung up on an accent, but it does help a great deal when the movers can speak English. Do not hate on me. I have nothing against immigrants. The more the merrier. But when you are moving your personal items from one location to another it helps when they understand. The two guys that showed up for my move shocked me at first. They were the thinest movers I have ever seen. I found myself worried for them as I had a lot of heavy items. The phrase "don't judge a book..." was thrown in my face as they were very tough and strong. They moved with a balletic precision. One took the upstairs, the other the downstairs (I felt bad for the upstairs guy as that's where the lions share was). Within 2 hours, the mess that was my apartment was cleaned out of boxes and furniture. This didn't mean they weren't careful, they were that professional. In between trips we all joked around keeping it light. When we got to VA, they were very quick with unloading the truck. This however is where they lost a star. There was quite a lot of stuff they brought that I had put to the side as I didn't need it. Additionally, they didn't put one of the pieces of furniture together correctly or follow my instructions on how I wanted it. It was a tiring and confusing day. Additionally, they must have left one of my pictures on the truck as it's missing. Same with my microwave that I kept bringing up. Oh well. Each move presents it's challenges and expenses. Speaking of expenses....this was the cheapest move to date. I was very happy with the final cost. All in all, they worked hard on a confusing move. I just wish they unwrapped some of the furniture before leaving!
