I highly recommend!!! We used them for a cleaning after we moved out of our rental home and I walked through today and it sparkled!!! Everything very clean and sanitized. Awesome work. Joe read more

We finally had to go down and re-do (wrong term, that implies it was done the first time) cleaning our basement to get ready for company over the holidays. After getting down on my hands and knees (something you'll never see from this outfit) I discovered their work was even worse than I thought.... so I'm knocking this down to one star. Either he's recently hired a team of chronic slackers or every five star reviewer here is related to him. read more

I've been meaning to write this review for quite some time now. I hired Americana Maid Services for a move-out clean and I was very impressed since the very first meeting with Oscar, the owner. He was super responsive through Yelp messaging and showed up for a walk-through at a convenient time for us. The walk-through was extensive and he was attentive to many smaller areas I didn't think about. He pointed out which areas would get a good scrubbing but was also upfront about some issues/spots he knew they wouldn't be able to remove. The quote he gave me was reasonable and conveniently sent to my email right then and there. The crew came out the day that we had SNOW! It was the first snowfall of the year and he still confirmed that they would be on their way. They did a stellar job and I would recommend their cleaning services to anyone also stressing out about a move-out clean. The kitchen appliances especially looked phenomenal. This is a professional company that is customer service oriented -- I'm definitely a satisfied customer! read more

UNTRUSTWORTHY. IRRESPONSIBLE. HIRE AT YOUR OWN RISK. Trust is paramount in a business like this, but Oscar and his crews cannot be trusted. Oscar, the owner, will not take responsibility when damage occurs. Oscar's cleaning crew, caused our Wolf range burner to malfunction. Oscar, claimed it was impossible for his crew to damage it and insisted our range had a pre-existing electrical problem that coincidentally caused it to malfunction immediately after his crew cleaned it. Oscar does not watch his crews clean nor does he see what they do or how they do it. There is no quality check. He only collects the check from the cleaning ladies. NOTE and BEWARE: I learned one of Oscar's cleaning crews also damaged ANOTHER client's brand new cooktop leaving a large dent on it and scratches on their new sink. Oscar also attempted to deny culpability, gave them the runaround, and tried blaming the damage on the client. The other client had to replace a cooktop panel and sink due to Oscar's crew's negligence. This occurred this past summer, 2021. The client fired Oscar. We have been regular, bi-weekly clients of Oscar's for the past 5.5 years, since he started his company. In these 5 years, Oscar has sent many, many different ladies to our home with varying results. Some were good. Others, not good. I made it a point to always be at home when the crew came. Oscar's crews have broken lightbulbs, knocked over lamps, broken cups and saucers in the kitchen, scratched up my then, brand new cook range, left bath mats stained and wet, and left puddles of floor cleaning solution on the hydrophobic hardwood floors. I've told the different crews they cannot soak the hardwood floors, much less leave puddles on it. They've missed bathrooms and portions of rooms. They liked to use excuses like "the door was locked" when it was not. I'm at home specifically for them. They could easily have alerted me if this was true. A few of the ladies are so careless when cleaning that I can hear banging, scraping, and thuds from the floor below. I've had to go upstairs to see what the they were doing. More recently, they knocked a ring clip off my Dyson vacuum that I purchased specifically for them to use, causing it to detach while in use. It required a trip to a Dyson service center. Accidents happen sometimes. No one is perfect. We get that. That's why we've been tolerant and understanding throughout the years when Oscar's crews had accidents. We have never asked for restitution. In the past year, however, things started getting worse, especially in the kitchen. Oscar's crews would spray the range cooktop and leave it very wet to soak while they cleaned other parts of the kitchen. I personally saw them do this. Several of my burners were too wet to be turned on after the crew left. I had to wait until they dried before I could turn my burners on. I reported this to Oscar. The ladies were so careless in the kitchen when wiping down the appliances that they reset the time on my microwave and turned my interior oven light on. The most dangerous incidents were when they accidentally flipped my oven knobs while wiping the surface and turned my oven ON. This happened twice on different occasions. The second time, they hit the knob and turned my oven to the "self-cleaning" mode. I discovered each incident when I went into the kitchen after they left our house. My work days shifted in mid September so I could no longer be at home when the cleaning crew came. Within 4 cleanings, Oscar's crew damaged our burner. I reported this to Oscar and got a bunch of excuses and reasons why it couldn't be them. We used our range the day before Oscar's crew came. Everything was in working order. When we tried to use it for the first time after they cleaned, we discovered one of the burners had failed. Oscar promptly denied responsibility, claimed my range had a pre-existing electrical issue that coincidentally malfunctioned immediately after his crew cleaned it. I invited Oscar to come take a look, but he declined, claiming he's not an electrician. Well, for someone who is not an electrician, he seemed quite positive my range had a pre-existing electrical problem. Oscar is the owner of the company, he has a responsibility to his clients. Oscar should have come out to look at the problem himself as basic customer service. Yet, Oscar was completely unwilling to do this. We called a tech to come out and perform diagnostics. He promptly informed me that there was no electrical problem. It was caused by cleaning residue that clogged the burner holes. When I sent Oscar the tech's result summary and service fee, Oscar stopped responding to texts and calls. Oscar is untrustworthy and unprofessional. His crews are careless. Oscar is not responsible when it matters. He may appear professional and accommodating, but when problems that involve compensation arise, he will give you the runaround and make up ridiculous excuses to get out of any responsibility. read more

Spotless. Americana Maid Services left my house cleaner than I've ever seen it after my first service with them. I had stumbled upon them after my last maid service failed to show up-twice- at a time of their choosing. It's not that I'm incapable of cleaning my house but between juggling work and a social calendar, spending weekends cleaning my house would make one a very dull person. Not only was Oscar, the owner, prompt and professional - but he is also extremely responsive to any inquiries. He was thorough, he showed up at my house in a suit and tie, and his ladies left my house s p o t l e s s . I literally think I breathe better as there are likely spots my last cleaning missed that are now sanitized. What's more- they were extremely careful to follow my instructions about making sure to keep the storm door closed to bar my escape artist dog from running out. Perhaps my last maid service not showing up was a blessing in disguise because I found Americana Maid Service. These guys are a keeper. read more

I have used Oscar and his crew on two occasions now. One for a move out on a rental and one for the initial cleaning of our new home. Both times they were very professional, friendly, and did a remarkable job cleaning the properties. They were very detailed in their cleaning. There were stains in certain appliances and areas of our new place that we thought we were going to have to replace but they made it look like new. Not only will I be using them again but I will be referring them to my business partners as well. Great service! read more

A very professional and friendly team. Did a great job with cleaning and were eager to get feedback and fill any holes that I found. Americana Maid- services are very well priced and the team I would highly recommend to try! read more

This service is superb! The owner, Oscar, is receptive and approachable. He worked with me to offer a competitive and affordable price for my parents' multi level townhome when my mother got too ill to perform housework herself. He was understanding and accommodating. His team was also incredible- very efficient while still being very thorough and helpful. I hired them as regulars because we were so pleased with their work. I highly recommend them to anyone! read more

Oscar was quick to respond and was able to come give me an estimate at a time that worked for my schedule. His pricing is very fair. He and his team did a wonderful job cleaning my home. I will be continuing to use their services on a monthly basis. read more

Oscar, the owner was amazing! I reached out for recommendations and he was at my home the next day for a quote. Not only did he provide an excellent quote but was able to have his cleaning crew to clean my home within two days. Being pregnant it was getting hard to clean my own home and although I was reluctant at first to hire cleaners, I have to say, I cannot be happier! The crew did an amazing job and it was so nice to have a clean home again! I would recommend Oscar and Americana Maid Services completely! Cant wait to have them back next month! read more

Very friendly, punctual, and affordable. They pay attention to detail and don't take all day to complete. Would highly recommend.

Oscar was super friendly from the first time we met for the estimate. The team always arrives on time and does a wonderful job! I don't know how they get the showers so clean!! Oscar wants to make sure his customers are happy, for sure! read more

Oscar and his team are incredible. Oscar is very approachable and accommodating to our schedule. His team is very efficient and take their time to clean the home. How I'd sum up my experience with Americana would be professional, honest, prompt, and REALLY AMAZING! Like really. I was in a different state and couldn't be there to fully explain to Oscar just how upset I was after seeing my rental property for the first time and he made the whole process incredibly smooth. When I tell you I was just seconds away from replacing everything in the house for my peace of mind, here came Oscar & his team of Angels. They performed a miracle in my house. I did NOT believe the pictures at first of the before and afters. I thought HE HAD replaced everything because it looked brand new. In all seriousness, I can't thank him enough. Moving 1200 miles with three children to a clean home is worth every penny and let me just say, Oscar does NOT charge what they are worth. Thank you, again! The Torlage Family. read more

Can I just say WOW. I personally love hiring new businesses as I feel they are so much more dedicated to customer satisfaction! I've been using a different company for over a year and their quality of the cleanings have gone down so when I saw Oscar, the owner of this company, advertise his new business on the South Riding Facebook page, I had to give them a try! I was more than pleased with not only the cleaning but the fact that Oscar himself came at the end of the cleaning to ensure that I was 100% satisfied! I would highly recommend giving this new company a try! read more

Hired for a deep clean prior to moving into a house we just bought. I expressed beforehand how important it was that the cleaning be extensive and thorough, but I was unfortunately disappointed when I came home to see that the basement carpet hadn't even been vacuumed. Dust from blinds upstairs was dropped onto the carpet and left, handprints/dirty switchplates were not detailed, floors were not scrubbed as I had asked (light wiping down was all for the floors), and whatever cleaner they used on the stainless steel on the stove has left permanent spots all over it that I haven't been able to scrub off. The two ladies who cleaned were nice and friendly and took their time (and it is a big house, even though it was empty) but I have had to go back over all of their work and scrub everything myself so I don't feel like the money I spent was worth it at all. In their defense, they did tell my husband when they were leaving and I think they asked if he wanted anything more done, but he was busy with our baby and the electrician so he didn't have time to thoroughly inspect. I wish I would have been home to look it over, but I don't think I should have had to. read more

I am a pretty clean person in general, but I will honestly say that my condo is never going to be as clean as it is today after them coming. Just did a great job. It was especially nice as I recently moved into the place and it hadn't been given a good deep clean prior to -- it was a total transformation. Nothing like coming home to that. Would recommend to anyone. read more

Great service, pricing, and communication. Setting up cleaning with Oscar is so easy because he is very responsive. On top of that, when we were considering cancelling service due to some unforeseen home repair expenses, Oscar offered to work with us to maintain our relationship. He was so professional and really cares about providing top notch customer service. As for the cleaning, they are quick and thorough, we've always been happy with the results. I highly recommend if you're searching for good, solid service with excellent customer communication. read more
