Chad was very friendly and came out right on time. His price was far lower than other estimates I received. I'd highly recommend.

Steady Flow Sewer & Drain

This is the second time I've used Steady Flow. Justin was super helpful, friendly, and arrived…read moreexactly on time (what a treat! A company that values my time too!). Justin looked at the issue, offered several quick fixes and made some suggestions we can do without needing expensive repairs. To be sure, when I do need any plumbing help in the future (because with a house it's always "when" not "if") you can bet Steady Flow will be my first - and probably only - call. Just as a side note - I had two other plumbers come out to review the same issue. One said it would cost $1000K+ to fix, the other recommended replacing our 6 year old water heater (which is working fine btw). Many small plumbing companies are being bought up by private equity firms, which push expensive and unnecessary repairs or products to pad their bottom line. Steady Flow is a company that is still on the side of their customers!

They did a great job then, so we called them again. Even though the July 4th weekend was just around the corner, they managed to schedule us and come the same day we called! Great company and very reasonable too. They are now our "go to guys", for sure! THANK YOU!

Russell not only pumped my tank, I mentioned I had root issues- he said I got you. He educated me, showed me how to do a drain field test myself and answered a bunch of pending questions that I've always had. Russell is professional, kind, fast, transparent and so easy to work with. I truly feel like Sterling should be every septic owners go to. They haven't failed me once and I am a picky customer. If I'm paying, I do expect good service but Sterlings service is STELLAR! 5 stars all day long.

Initially, Sterling told me that there would be no one available until Monday morning, but offered me info on another company if I wanted to check with them instead. But then, within the hour, they figured out a way to get the last of their guys who was still out in the field over to my place for a diagnosis. Guy was here in under an hour. What's more, to make sure everything was well and truly addressed, the boss himself stopped by on his way to a birthday party to offer a little oversight, hands-on assistance, and some on-the-job staff training. Sterling ended up pumping my tanks, which was fine, but there was no charge for the extra service call, which was even better, and everything was resolved by 6:00 PM. These folks could have easily said, sorry, can't do anything until Monday, and I would have understood. Instead, they went the extra mile for a good customer - and now they've ensured that they'll keep that customer for many years to come. That's the way to do business and I thought you Yelpers would want to know.

(3/5 rounded up from a 2/5 as management attempted to help rectify the situation)…read more Negatives: Upfront misinformation regarding capabilities, poor basic communication. Positives: Responsive foreman who handled escalation professionally and refunded upcharges. Bottom line: The overall experience was frustrating and ultimately left my sewer issue completely unresolved. While I appreciate management stepping in to rectify the billing, I cannot recommend them based on my experience. The Details: I specifically reached out to A-Advance to service an E/One sewer system. E/One units are notoriously specialized, so before booking, I explicitly asked the front office if they were equipped to handle them. They assured me they were. On that basis, I agreed to their $250 base call-out fee. When the technicians arrived, they informed me on-site that they cannot actually repair E/One systems if a component is broken. They attempted a basic flush for a grease blockage, stating that was the extent of their ability. Sure enough, 15 minutes after they left, the system alarm was blaring again, leaving me back at square one. The front-office communication throughout was equally disappointing: * No-show communication: On the original appointment date, a windstorm knocked out my power 10 minutes before arrival. Understandably, they couldn't perform the work - no big deal I get that. However, instead of notifying me, the truck pulled into my driveway and simply drove off. I had to call the office twice (getting hung up on the first time) to get rescheduled. They didnt attempt to reach me. * Surprise billing & no receipts: My expected $250 fee turned into a $400 charge with no receipt or invoice provided at payment. Had the issue been resolved I likely would have left it there. As it wasn't, I called to request an itemized bill. I discovered add-ons for fuel surcharges, charges for disposables, and additional time charges. (These add ons were not anticipated and the extra time charge shouldnt have been included. We sat there chatting for 10 minutes before they informed me that they needed to round up their time... like come on.) The Resolution: I escalated my dissatisfaction to the foreman, who was polite, professional, and agreed to refund the extra line-item charges. I genuinely appreciate the foreman correcting the bill, but at the end of the day, I wouldn't have hired A-Advance had they been upfront about their scope with regard to inspecting and repairing the E/One unit. Takeaway: Verify their technical capabilities in writing before booking.

I'm a curious homeowner and I want to be involved on work at my home. We waited for the actual pump truck to arrive but it took only about 20 min. At the end I went over the charges one at a time bc if I'm spending thousands on my home, I want to understand and approve of the numbers. He didn't mind at all. It took about 1.5 hours for the service give or take. They didn't leave a mess behind and our inspection papers will be filed. I can't say enough good things about this company. The office staff messaged me thru my yelp project which sent the convo to my phone via text. Receipt is emailed along with photos. Straightforward. Easy. Simple. One word of advice that if you decide to stay outside to watch and learn and look into the tank to see the before and after you will feel nausuous. I didn't feel it until after when I went back into the house. I won't be eating munch today. Call them for septic needs!!!!

Considering the conditions and that it was an emergency weekend call, the price was incredibly reasonable. The two technicians who came out were fantastic. They were professional, efficient, and clearly knew exactly what they were doing. They handled a stressful situation with calm confidence and had everything working again much faster than we expected. A special thank you as well to the owner, Mario, who made sure we were taken care of even though it happened to be his birthday. That level of dedication to customers really says a lot about a company. If you ever need septic service, I would highly recommend them without hesitation. They've officially earned a permanent spot on my emergency homeowner contact list.
