I used these guys at my business after being given the run around by our regular contractor. When I called them they were super busy but stated that they will still able to come in look at our septic issues between other jobs. Having dealt with our regular guys over the years I wasn't expecting much in terms of customer service but these guys completely surprised me. Harry and Jazz showed up, they asked us what our problem was. Sewer odor in our restrooms. They immediately went to work. We are a busy truck stop type business so they had to work around truck traffic with meant them having to move their septic service truck numerous times but they were so pleasant and didn't inconvenience our customers at all. They opened up all of our septic tanks and took their time to show me what the issue was. Basically our first tank had too much sludge from heavy toilet paper usage. The sludge build up was extreme and it was apparent to me that our previous service company didn't clean it out as they claimed. It took them close to an hour and half to clean out all the sludge and gray water. After they cleaned out the first two tanks they showed me how clean they were. They also cleaned out the filters and checked pump operations. They thoroughly explained to me how septic system works and showed me each component. They advised that I schedule a more frequent 6 month service of the system instead of once a year. When they gave me the invoice, that was the second surprise... a pleasant surprise. They showed me what it costs them to dump the sewage waste and charged me a very reasonable labor rate for far less time than they spent. The bill was close to half of what my previous contractor charged. They both explained that while they did spend extra time, they didn't want me to pay extra for the mistakes of our previous service company. They instead want to do a honest job and earn my repeat business. Which they now have. read more

Shower started backing up. (EWW) Plumber gave us some long story about $12,000 (!!!!) to uncover the septic tank lid and take out the toilet and run a camera down to see the problem????? WTH. Husband dug out the septic tank covers and these guys came NEXT DAY and pumped. It's working now. And one of our progeny has been severely cautioned about excessive use of toilet paper. Hygiene is nice but dang. Save the Planet. Or at least the septic tank. I would have appreciated it if they included a report in the email receipt regarding the state of the septic tank. We just had the most thorough and helpful septic service. Our tank was needing evaluation and of course we were worried for bad news and a bill we couldn't afford. Thankfully we found this local company who saved our sanity. We called around noon on a Wednesday. They said they would be able to come out by 6pm same day. Wow. We were eager for help and jumped on that appt. They arrived on time and immediately made me feel at ease. We have been in our house for a year and didn't expect any issues with the septic system other than routine maintenance since the tank was supposedly inspected and emptied when we brought. Our septic alarm went off and long story short NW Septic & Plumping was able to come within 24 hrs to empty the tank and clean the filter. No other company had any openings for at least a week. Turns out the previous company didn't actually empty the tank as there was about 3 years of sludge in the tank. Very professional and on time would definitely recommend and will be using them again in the future. Update: after 2 1/2 weeks our septic alarm kept going off and we opted to go through the house warranty appointed company, LLLP Wooley Plumbing. Turns out that a simple look into the third compartment would have told us we had a float problem and that is why the first tank was so full. I wish I could give them zero stars. First of all, don't plan on getting somebody on the phone. Even when they are open it takes 20 calls to get someone on the phone. They are extremely unprofessional, set up an appointment for Wednesday, they canceled. Rescheduled for Saturday at 8 am, it is now 3.5 hours later and they are STILL not here. Henry texted me at 9:13 saying he would be here in 45 mins so 10:00, hour later I call the office number and Jazz tells me he will be here in 25 mins. It's been an hour since that. And neither will answer their personal cell phones. Poor customer service. Never even showed up after repeated telling me they would. So take my advice and hire a real company to do your septic work. read more

Horrible Company: only pumped one of our compartments even though in the county code it is required for them to pump the entire tank (per King County Regulation 13.68.036). Called them back and set-up an appointment for them to return to pump the second tank, we even dug it up for them. They did not show up and did not call. We called more than five times on the day of the appointment and received their voicemail every time. Called back a few days later and someone answered. As we were talking to them, they hung up. We called back a few more times and reached their voicemail. We do not recommend. read more

I've used several companies over the years, and this company is the best! They pumped out the tank and installed a riser so I won't have to dig so much next time. The lead guy named "Jazz" was good at communicating, quoted prices in advance, and is super nice. Prices were reasonable and the work was done well. Another plus, they have a small truck. A week ago I had my tank pumped out following an alarm Jazz was able to come out the following day and pumped me out for a very reasonable price, for the last few days I had been receiving an intermittent alarm, so I called again and he came right out. He quickly discovered the very small problem and was able to make some adjustments and quickly fixed the problem. He explained to me thoroughly and professionally what the nature of the problem was and how he fixed it and for that, I am truly happy and satisfied customer. A very strange individual operates their office; his name is Gary or Harry -- I could not make up his real name -- They came, emptied one tank and refused to open the second, stating that it would be empty. I insisted they open the tank, but they refused. In spite of that, being naïve and trusting, I gave them a check and a nice tip; they promised to send the invoice the same day. For a whole week, I kept asking for the invoice, and each time they said the invoice was its way. Then Harry (or Gary) started hanging up the phone on me each time I called. Seeing my frustration with Harry, my spouse called the bank and stopped the payment. About 2 months later, they called and left a message about the unpaid check. I tried calling their office few times, and again, each time, Harry hang up the phone. Then they send a "fake" invoice (a photocopy of a form), showing emptying two tanks (instead of only one), and staying over 2 hours on the premises when they did not spend an hour. Am tired of this, I am lodging a complaint with the BBB and the Consumer Protection Office in Olympia. read more

Dont go here. They dont do a good job and when you show them proof of the bad job they just lose contact with you all together. Didnt pump my tank. 2 days after they left my house was backed up. Called someone else to do the job and they took pictures of the horrible job that was done. When I sent the pictures to nw septic 2 weeks ago they have stopped responding to my calls and texts. Phone calls go straight to voicemail and they dont have a voicemailbox set up so I cant even leave a message. And to do all this during a pandemic when money is tight is very unethical. I would have given this company a five star rating due to the fact that they came out after hours to pump our septic. I asked for an inspection of my septic for my realtor and was told they would email it within a couple of days. It's Now been a week and a half. Inspection has not been sent. Tried calling voicemail has not been set up no response to text messages. I finally got a hold of someone on the phone as soon as I said who I was- they hung up and refuse to answer the phone. This septic service is a bad business Harry the guy says he is going to pump the septic and he only pumps your pocket with 500 dollars cause he doesn't do the work at all. If the owner doesn't check the septic after he is done "pumping" you owner will pay for a new septic which is worth over $20,000. Company came out an pumped the septic tank on a Sunday. Service was ok, nothing spectacular. Upon completion, I asked about getting some risers installed. I was promised a quote that evening and never heard back I called on Monday and Tuesday and left message. I hired Sterling Septic and they came out right away and took care of everything. I won't be using Northwest Septic again. From now on I will be using Sterling Septic as their prices were better and service friendly. read more

GREAT company!! I called another company and they just didn't seem interested in the work so I moved on. I saw the ratings for NW Septic and called. From the first phone call they were on top of it. They are grateful for the business, committed to doing a good job and follow through. Jazz and his helper G. came out to my house and a simple pump turned out into them having to come back and unplug a line. They had to come back with different equipment and after they completed other jobs. They returned at 8:00 PM and worked until 10:00 PM and could not have been nicer, more professional or tried harder. Call them, you'll see, these guys have it going on and the cost was more than fair. I sincerely wish there were more companies out there with a guy like Jazz in charge. I experienced what I thought was a backup in my shower. The plumber I called took one look and said it's a septic issue. Since it was Saturday, I knew that my choices would be limited and probably expensive. After calling several, I chanced upon Northwest. One call and Jazz was helpful, asked all the right questions, assured me that everything was going to be resolved, TODAY EVEN, and so very kind. True to his word, he showed up, began locating the tank, checked county and state records, and got to work. It was done before I expected it would be, he showed me the empty thank, had me run a check of toilets, then the shower, which appeared to still be blocked. He told me to wait 2-3 minutes and he would try something, but to "listen for the gurgle." I was never so happy to hear a gurgle! After that, he got busy cleaning up, and before long he was standing at the door taking my email info so he could send me a copy of his report. To say I'm impressed is an understatement!
