The classes are held in a training classroom of the Red Cross building (see photos). Our instructor was Johnny, who came up from Tucson to teach the class. The morning was occupied with CPR/AEG training. A couple students who only needed certification in that left at that point. After lunch we did first aid for the next hour or two, and those who signed up for Adult training (including myself) left, leaving only a few students who also signed up for Pediatrics. I can't say enough good things about Johnny, our instructor. I had anticipated long dry lectures, and struggling to keep my eyes open. Instead, he was casual, humorous, and obviously very knowledgeable about the subject matter. The only drawback is the large amount of material covered.

I usually donate platelets at the Glendale center, but just this once I donated at the (*** New!…read more***) location, at 12515 W Bell Rd Suite 100 Surprise AZ 85378 I did that 'mostly' because Megan -- (at the Glendale center) -- 'suggested' that I make an appointment (for July 6, 2026) in Surprise. Everything went well. I feel fortunate to be healthy enough to donate platelets ... and hence to have lives. The blood bank is "one" place where ... it is better to given than to receive.

Seems to be plenty of parking available and the entrance is on the east side of the building. We all made appointments for 2 and 215 and were greeted by the friendly Diane at the desk. They're doing their annual VW giveaway, so donors have a chance to win a car. My phlebotomist was efficient and proficient during the interview and donation process. My whole blood donation was quick and easy. The usual snacks and drinks are available; they can be consumed during and/or after donating. Overall, I recommend donating blood and Vitalant has many locations around the valley, in addition to mobile drives, so it's convenient to help those in need.

I recommend completing the fast track questionnaire before your appointment to save you time. Interview process is smooth and the phlebotomists have all been great and professional. The center is spacious and clean, with comfy chairs and plenty of snacks to enjoy during and after the donation. I like the canteen/refreshment area and how there is a water refill station, since I always bring my reusable bottle. They also have hydration packets which is a smart offering. I would definitely recommend giving back and donating blood here.

Just thought Iwould share my latest "new doc" experience…read more I decided I wanted to keep being able to walk so I finally chose to have the veins in my legs fixed from "bilateral venous insufficiency" (yep! just like President Trump) I had the testing done at a local facility but their surgery office is clear north of town and I live way south of town. It involved 8....yes EIGHT...visits and multiple cutting on my legs so I decided to seek other options. Went on. *YELP and the reviews were good for Metro Vein so google became my friend to stalk their office. Doc Johnston looked soooo friendly I decided to give them a try... . Yes..before you ask it is my 100% success method of choosing my doctors! What a GREAT experience I had from check in through checkout!! They did a complete ultrasound to look for any changes and then Doc Johnston came in with the verdict...GUILTY of ignoring my legs and I did need the procedure. To my.surprise he offered a procedure that only req 4 visits and NO downtime! Slimey stuff gets put in the vein thru tiny cut...10 min later you walk out! My instincts were right by choosing Doc Johnston and his wonderful office team! little things like a small fridge with drinks, mint packs on table and Claudia at the front desk greeting you with a smile confirmed I chose right! FYI..I was cruel and asked Doc Johnston if I could use the restroom when he came in room to do my procedure This was after his amazing and so sweet asst Jessica had my Leg totally scrubbed down ...prepped and sterilized...I am a brat! tee-hee! If you have simple spider veins you want treated, go somewhere else. They coax you into saying you…read morehave symptoms, other than simply cosmetic, to justify doing a pricy ultrasound that they will bill to insurance saying, "Insurance pays for it!" (but *you* will actually pay for it if you haven't met your annual deductible). Then, they'll say you have vein "issues" that they want to treat before you have any sclerotherapy for the spider veins you originally made the appointment for. I barely had time to get dressed before the doctor came in once the ultrasound lady left the room - definitely not time to truly assess my ultrasound results. Doctor came in and started right off recommending I have some sort of ablation therapy, and said we'd look at the cosmetic veins only after the ablation treatments were completed. It felt rehearsed, like they give every patient the same schpiel because they want to make more money doing a larger treatment than just cosmetic: basically, killing off a vein or two, and the blood flow naturally reroutes itself to other veins. No real way of telling whether it's *actually* needed, because even if it's not medically necessary, it doesn't sound like there would be any issues doing that - there are plenty of veins your body will use instead. The leading questions they ask are very vague, "Do your legs ever get tired?" I mean, after walking all day on vacation they'll feel tired. "Do your legs ever feel itchy?" Yes, in the winter, the skin on my legs get dry so I put lotion on and then they're fine. I don't have any actual physical symptoms that prompted me to make the appointment to be assessed for spider vein treatment, other than that they're unsightly. I was then told my "treatment plan" would cost $4900 out-of-pocket - and that's not treating any of the spider veins I went in to have treated. That would be additional cost. I cannot stress how far back into my head my eyes rolled. I cancelled my appointment immediately and have made an appointment at a different clinic that will simply treat the spider veins I want treated.

They helped calm our thinking, and boost our emotional strength, resilience. They helped us settle down, become less confused and stressed out, and that allowed us to deal with the situation, to do what we needed to make tough decisions and get thru some very hard times. If they hadn't been there to help, our lives would have gone sideways more than once. The impact they had on us may well have saved my life. The default path we were heading down when we reached out to them had a hidden life-threatening risk that we likely wouldn't have avoided. Being able to find our way to a better path made a huge difference. For anyone considering Noble, I can tell you from our experience, these folks are wonderful! I am keeping their name & number because I can't see ever working with anyone else. Thank you, Noble. The people here are absolutely the best!

Noble poached our loved one out of Temple Post Acute(TPA) who was there for rehabilitation after…read moremajor back surgery. She was discharged from TPA and at the meeting a Noble sales rep attended the meeting. As the patient was at TPA for rehab we knew she was NOT terminal and the rep told us Noble was there to help. So we agreed, she came home and I was the main caregiver. At first Noble seemed helpful--the first two nurses were great. Then came the 3rd nurse on May 10th 2026. She immediately withheld her diabetic medication cold turkey--a medicine she had been taking daily for over 3 years. On May 27th 2026 she died. If you care about your Loved one avoid TPA and Noble Hospice like the plague. They don't care about you--it's all about the money.
