I worked here for several years and one site manager told us in a morning meeting that we needed to come in early and work off of the clock for a half hour so she could get her billable services up. She told us to enter the time on the document for a time we were clocked in, which is insurance fraud. So she was demanding we work for free for at least 3 hours a week AND commit insurance fraud.
I reported this to the top brass and they laughed about it and did nothing.
I also reported a major hipaa violation and was treated like I was a problem employee. The hipaa violation was due to a coworker posting a pic of her desk on social media to at least 1500 ppl. There was a list of about 30 clients on her desk with their full name, date of birth, and phone numbers. I was told it wasn't a big deal
I walked out a few days later when the director of my dept started trying to create a paper trail to get me fired. The paper trail was a write up for incompetence but it was a coworker's mistake, not mine, and when Melissa found out she didn't write up that coworker.
Melissa told us on her first day of working in our dept that if she didn't like us she knew how to get rid of us.
This company needs to be looked at for ins fraud for sure. read more
