Amir used to be very responsive. He doesn't seem to be around anymore and the service is not what it used to be.

For the 2026 season, apparently Amir is not reachable and his brother Kevin has taken over. Things are running horribly, and they have bailed on multiple appts that were scheduled. The company is completely mismanaged now and will not survive if they continue operating this poorly. read more

Amir and his team are amazing! We've been using American Pool Service for a couple of seasons so far and I can't say enough good things about them. I hired them when I had a leak underground that neither of the (big or small) pool companies could identify. But Amir came in and kept at it until he found the problem. American Pool Service has only started servicing our pool for a few weeks and I am delighted with their work. Here are some things I noticed in their service that I didn't see in the other companies: 1) Extremely helpful. My motor had stopped working and the previous company kept trying to convince me to buy a new one. They showed me a manual way to turn it on. 2) They honored a coupon which is generally used for upfront package payment when I was only paying for pool opening. 3) My pool pump stopped working today. They came back out same day to fix it. 4) They always communicate about their visits and try to accommodate. Amir, AJ and Dave are all super nice and polite. So happy I switched. I've used Amir on a couple occasions. The first time he came around was last season season. I had issues with my pump leaking. He gave me some tips to try to resolve it myself. Some places would immediately recommend a replacement but he was honest. This year, I had another company open my pool since they do my neighbors and found that my pump didn't work. Amir came out with his crew and did a few things to troubleshoot. He resolved my problem and finally located the breaker that is wired to the pump my electrician didn't mark for me.
