Overall, good food but the pizza needs to cook a little longer. Service is quick if they aren't busy but they do get backed up.

Good pizza & great calzones with spinach. Much better than Mellow Mushroom calzones. Love the buffets at lunch time.

Love the food here, have never been disappointed. So much better than Pizza Hut, and I love the new location.

Not my first time here, but it is my first review for them! This is really good pizza! (Is there…read morebad pizza?) very traditional, thin, Neopolitan style crust. Not huge, but two or three people could enjoy. (6 slices cut) I wanted to try something different so we got two and boxed the rest. Shelby greeted and seated us, and although she lacked a little knowledge on the beer menu, she made up for that with a trip to the bar to investigate our questions on sour beer, and came back with two excellent samples! We settled on a Dr. Robot and the Charcut-a-pie. I loved the toppings and balsamic drizzle. Goat cheese and arugula just go together. A little honey and I was in heaven! The crust on this one was a little well done, which disappointed but, the overall flavor was on point. Next, we sampled the Spicy Italian. I'm usually pretty good with spicy things, and while this was no exception, it did have both of us in a small sweat! If you are averse to spicy, stick with something else. This crust was also cooked and not over done. I'm not sure what McDonoughs' obsession is with vaults, but it seems to be a recurring theme around the square. You'll find vaults or at least doors that look like vaults all over. The rest of the decor inside and outside was well done. Exposed brick gives it immediate rustic charm, while black floors, raw wood art, and leather stools wrap the package nicely. I definitely like their lighting! Oversized bulbs hung around the pizza oven bar (which you can sit at if there's space) and giant hoop rings finish the rest of the space. It isn't that glaring light that spotlights your table, it's just a nice warm ambient light that makes you wanna pour a vintage red into a wine glass over and over. Oh! I almost forgot, they do have an outdoor patio up front, so on those less humid days and nights, I'll definitely be hanging out there!

I went on a date recently to this restaurant and we had a TIME! While my date made a reservation,…read morewe didn't need it. Upon entrance, we were seated immediately. The restaurant wasn't very crowded. Our waitress was great. Very high energy. She offered great recommendations. Everything was perfect. We ordered Cheesy Bread as an appetizer and we split a Philly Fry Pie pizza! The drinks were also good -especially for the price. This is definitely a place we will come back to in the future.

Found this great pizza shop after leaving the local KOA and doing some exploring downtown Forsyth…read more This is a great pizza joint with a very welcoming staff, the sidewalk seating was nearly filled so we grabbed a corner booth inside next to the large windows facing the street. We were immediately greeted by Ella who provided outstanding service during our visit she was very attentive and continued to check in on us ensuring our drinks were always filled. We order a 14" pepperoni, italian sausage with extra cheese and cooked crispy, the crust was amazing and all the toppings were of good quality and plentiful. This seemed to be a very popular restaurant on Friday afternoon with a great takeout business. They are definitely dog friendly at the outdoor seating area and there were plenty pups enjoying the afternoon with their owners. This is pizza I'd return for if back in the area we had a great experience...

Wow! If you're in the area and craving amazing pizza, you absolutely have to check this place out…read more I stumbled upon it in my search and I'm so glad I did! This isn't your average pizza joint; with their delicious stone-baked crusts, it truly feels like pizza made to order, giving you a wonderful, personal experience. And you can order by slice! My favorite was the white pizza with cauli-flour crust - delicious! We got there just in time, beating the Friday rush, because about 20 minutes after we sat down, the place was bustling with both to-go orders and new diners. It might look small from the front, but don't be fooled - there's seating outside and a good amount in the back. The layout is a little quirky (you pass the server's drink station on the way to the back and restrooms), but it adds to the charm. I also appreciated that the manager walked around, checking in with everyone - a really nice touch! The food is delicious - so much so that I even took a pizza to go for later! Next time, I'm definitely going to try one of their specials (I didn't see them written at the counter until after I ordered!) and one of their signature alcohol slushies. I'll be back!

Sadly, this location on N Lee St in Forsyth just can't get the details of an order right, and the…read morepizza rarely has anything at the outer edges, making them smaller than paid for. I had hoped this wasn't the norm, but after 4 separate orders like this, it is their new norm. I place orders via the web, never over the phone. So there shouldn't be a way to mess these up. But somehow it is managed each time. The newer online software is still very frustrating to place an order. You have to go to multiple screens for the toppings. No place to put notes, I like my pizza cut in square vs slice. Since their sauce is so sparse, I always order double sauce. Yet, when it comes, it's as if there is less than even normal sauce amounts on it. The outer edges and corners never have sauce, cheese, or even toppings. The rest of the pizza has less than normal amounts of sauce. This location used to be fantastic at making a pizza. A deal on a pizza doesn't mean skimp on the pizza. It should be made exactly how a fully priced pizza is. If it isn't, then stop running promotions. We as consumers are sick and tired of this. I'll miss you Marcos, because when you are making them how you used to, it was a pretty good pizza.
