So, since this little gem has been open, it has now undergone some management changes. Gone are all the beer decorations and the walls are barren. Gone are the fully stocked shelves of merchandise and Georgia beers and wines. Gone are the board games and shuffle board and outdoor games. It reminds me now more of a place for a book club to come and and enjoy a beer before debating the meaning of a leaf in a book. The food is still delicious. It's what I come for. Can't go wrong with Artisan pizza or their quesadillas. I also love the charcuterie board. And they now have non-alcoholic drinks as well. Just be warned if you like unsweetened tea, they don't have any sweetener. Will I return? Of course. They've been around for a decade and it's always been a favorite with a good location. My new fave This is totally one of the best spots in Macon to hang out. They have a super huge beer selection on tap (duh) and the pizza's I've ordered have been amazing. On my stops they have been very busy on the weekend but pizza came out in about 20-30 minutes. Portion size is great with leftovers for lunch. We went over to Macon this weekend to catch the cherry blossom fest and found this gem of a place. My husband and I love some proper thin crust wood fire pizzas paired with beer/ ciders. This place is so chill and easy. It was both human and dog friendly. It's self order and it didn't take too long to get our pizza. The pizza was so good, I wish we had this place back home in Atlanta. I had the seasonal cider and my husband had a lager of his choice. The beer menu is extensive so take your time choosing, no rush. Everything was reasonably priced. They also sell merchandise, tee shirts and tumblers sort of thing. Started coming here due to the trivia they have on Tuesday and Thursday nights. Plenty of seating inside and out, but if you plan to go for trivia on either of those nights, it's best to come early so they don't fill up! The draft selection is great and there's always something new to try. They also have plenty of options as far as bottles and cans that can be taken home for your pleasure. My absolute favorite place to visit when in Macon. Located a bit from the main downtown area. Parking is street parking with meters. Free parking after 8pm as of now. The inside is very decorated with a clean, rustic look. There is also a bookshelf with board games that you can play as well as a shuffle board. The beer choices change often depending on events and they have regular beers/wine. Past the draughts are fridges with canned beer and bottled wine. The food was delicious. We drove into Macon to visit friends and were recommended to check out Just Tap'd. This place is awesome for beer lovers! They have a wide variety of craft beers on tap from all over the US and several international beers. They have a decent amount of wines too if you're more into that vino! If you want more than a liquid diet, there's a menu with reasonably priced appetizers and pizzas. Just like their beer menu, Just Tap'd is huge!! There's plenty of outdoor and indoor seating; there's actually a bottom floor that I discovered when I went to pick up food. Choosing from their 60+ beers on the menu was some hard work! We read and re-read the descriptions of the beers before deciding. Most of the beers I wanted to try were $5 or under for a 16 oz pour. The pricier beers that are $7-$9 are usually imperials or kombucha beers (still trying to figure out if this beer is hipster or made for the gluten-free Californians). I finally decided on El Gose from Avery brewing and Hofbrau Hefeweizen from Munich, Germany. - El Gose: So refreshing with a hint of tang! - Hofbrau Hefeweizen: Refreshing and overall, a great hefeweizen! - Pretzels with beer cheese: The pretzels were perfect - so soft and warm hmm hmm. This is our favorite place! I can't speak high enough about the staff, food, selection of craft beers and wine...etc! MK is the best and she knows what styles of beers we like and what to recommend. As for her staff, they are all amazing! They are so personable and are like family to us. We enjoy going during the week for trivia even if we haven't won, it's just a really good time. I love looking forward to what the pizza and wine special of the month is. They have 3 large tv's upstairs with sports and a tv and nice seating section downstairs.
