Came to the AMEX club for the Galaxy game and it's awesome! You get a great view of the field up here so if you wanted, you can watch warm ups and the game here. Everybody up here is so friendly and make you feel like Galaxy family. You also get 2 free drinks and an exclusive bathroom. I got 2 old fashioned and the bartender made sure I got the good bottle. Can't wait to come back and Gz up!

Not only was this my first time attending the AMEX Stadium Club, this my first time attending an LA Galaxy game. Had a great time in the stadium club before the match where for $61 per person, we enjoyed a buffet with a wide range of upscale hot and cold food items. Cocktails were delicious and the food was fresh and delicious. The view of pitch was a fantastic way to watch warmups and I found our servers to be excellent and very friendly. Will definitely be back again.

Great food, great drinks, great view. Loved it here

At this venue for a work event. I haven't been here for years - ever since Chivas USA was still a team here. Great event space with some star quality. Home currently to the (ahem) LA Chargers, the Stadium Club features a bar, some lounge seating, and ample restaurant-style seating. Our event had a continental breakfast with bagels, fruit, pastries and non-alcoholic beverages, and it was fine. There was a podium, AV capabilities, and a staged seating area around the podium. You can see in the photos space large enough to post a humongous banner (which served as a backdrop to our speakers). It was bright and well-lit. Successful event - we are glad the venue worked out.

**Review for Private Event ONLY** During the 4th of July weekend, I helped out with my friend's private party. I was not a part of the organization so I do not really know what options are available to people who want to rent the space out for private parties. All I can say is that the view at night is totally worth it! If you have an event here - pay to leave the lights on all night! FOOD: - Hearty Sandwiches which weren't my favorite but they were fully loaded with meats and cheeses. - Full Bar with bartender took our minds off having to rent out that service, buy booze, set up tables, etc. However the drinks were expensive ($14 for a jack/coke). The event was for an organization, so we weren't able to have an open bar, which I don't know if they offer or not. - Hot Dog stand was awesome! They had their stadium dogs available in a manned buffet station. LOL! I loved this part! SERVICE: The staff here were great! It was a bumpy start but we got things rolling after an hour or so of figuring out logistics. They really came through with giving us power to certain areas of the hall where we needed to set up cameras and a photo booth, as well as lock up some of the DJs equipment. Big shout outs to Julia and Erik! Thanks for making this a great event for us! VENUE: AMAZING VIEW!! The full windows through the hall gave you a panoramic view of the entire stadium. There were booths which they are not able to fully remove, but if you are having your event here - it makes it more authentic to keep them in.

So thanks to a generous Yelper I went to the Galaxy game tonight to see Beckham. I have been to Galaxy games since they opened at the Home Depot Center but I have not been since Becks joined. The AMEX Stadium Club is a club for people with Club Seats as well as Suites but ...those with Staples Lexus Club memberships have access too. Oh yeah..check me on this but they use to be open to anyone on non-game days for lunch. The tables open to the stadium and the windows open so it is like having a table in a suite. They USE to have appetizers and salads but now your only option is buffet which...I am not a huge fan of. [see photos]

Outside of the jerseys of CA teams on the walls, there's no history of the Clippers, LA, or anything that would give the arena some character. There's no local food vendors. There's just boring food like hot dogs, pizza, and chicken fingers at every concessions stand. As you walk around, it feels like Groundhog Day as you pass by the same concession stand over and over again. There's zero variety. They apparently have a ton of bathrooms there. They should shut a few of those down and convert them to local restaurants. Once you're in the arena, the LED lights at every seat are beyond overwhelming, and they don't stop. The positives are the halo video board and comfortable seats. The interactive buttons could be cool. when they're used. We went to MVP's MMA event and they didn't use them at all. That was a missed opportunity for them. I expected a lot but was underwhelmed.

Not having $13K for tickets I had to cancel. Sofi opened and I bought tickets again. They sold me the three like I had in San Diego. The next season I asked for a forth. Family and friends changing 4 would better accommodate my situation. I also paid the $1000 for tailgating parking. Each of the last 4 years I tried to add a seat. I was told none were available. My friend who is in the army and stationed in Germany called to get tickets 2 years ago and the Chargers sold him 4 tickets better than mine for less. I mentioned this to my so called rep with the Chargers and said there are different tickets but would not provide details. Why as a customer am I getting treated different. I was born in SD in a military family. Why I am a Charger fan. This year I expressly stated I would not renew unless I could get a 4th seat. I had friends call to buy 4 tickets and they were told no problem. I was told to wait for relocation time. Relocation time I got an email stating I can move my 3 tickets but if I wanted to add or remove tickets I needed to call. I called and they saw the 4 years of my calls and requests. I was told they had to talk with the lead staff to see what they could do. After a long hold the Chargers stated since I sold some of my tickets the last few seasons they would not sell me a fourth ticket. I can not in recommend doing business with the Chargers. I don't know the schedule when the games are. I don't know where I will be or if you will flex tickets that we planned for. Most importantly you can't sell these tickets you greedy tool. NFL take note and get new leadership here. You lost a 20 year ticket holder because I asked to buy an extra seat! You must be stupid.

A lot of people agree, the Chargers shouldn't have moved from San Diego to Los Angeles in 2017…read more Since then, the Chargers have solidified their second-tier status with other secondary LA teams. They include the Angels (MLB), Clippers (NBA), Ducks (NHL), and LAFC (MLS). The Dodgers (2020), Lakers (2020), Kings (2014), and Galaxy (2014) have won league championships more recently than their LA counterparts. The Rams are the last team to win the Super Bowl (2022). I think the Chargers are most comparable to the Clippers. The Chargers and Rams share SoFi Stadium as their home stadium. The Lakers and Clippers share Crypto.com Arena as their home arena. The Chargers haven't won a Super Bowl and have made it to The Big Game only one time (1994). The Rams have won two Super Bowls and have made it to The Big Game five times. The Chargers and Clippers have spent less time in LA than the Rams and Lakers, respectively. Also, coincidentally, the Chargers and Clippers both moved from San Diego to LA (the Clips moved to LA in 1984). Throughout history, the Chargers haven't been a bad team. They just haven't had much postseason success despite their fair share of playoff appearances. I know the Chargers best for the Philips Rivers era. Rivers went to college the same time I did. As a Georgia Tech student and fan, I watched Rivers' career unfold when he was the QB at conference rival NC State. Rivers would go on to have a 16-year career with the Chargers (2004-2019). He started every game during the 2006-2019 seasons. Including his final NFL season with the Indianapolis Colts, Rivers is second all-time in most consecutive starts (240) by an NFL QB behind Brett Favre (297). Rivers has the most passing yards and passing touchdowns among NFL players to have never reached the Super Bowl. The closest Rivers got to the Super Bowl was the 2008 AFC Championship Game (2007 season), a 21-12 loss at New England. Rivers never played in another conference championship game. The Rivers era coincided with LaDainian Tomlinson's time with the Chargers (2001-2010). LT was an absolute beast in his prime, which was at the same time the Chargers last made the aforementioned AFC title game. He set the NFL record in rushing touchdowns in 2006 with 28 touchdowns. From 2004 to 2007, LT led the league in rushing TDs three out of four years. He also led the league in rushing yards in back-to-back seasons, 2006-2007. He was the NFL's MVP in 2006. Since moving to LA in 2017, the Chargers have had three winning seasons. However, they've only made the playoffs once (in January 2019; 2018 season). The team just finished its first season under new head coach Brandon Staley. This is Staley's first job as an NFL head coach. He spent the previous few years as a linebackers coach for the Chicago Bears and Denver Broncos and, most recently, as the defensive coordinator for the Rams.

Unfortunately, it was the complete opposite in my experience. PROS: - cool concept - decent DJs playing good music - music sound quality was great - venue was ideal (just not used to its full potential) CONS: - very poorly executed course - not enough resources to direct and guide foot traffic - course had had some narrow trails making it hard for actual runners to get by walkers (walkers to the right!!) - not enough blacklight on the course to give it that feeling of a neon night run - not enough music during the run, music only near the tents - parking was far from the start and finish line (i think this aided in the confusion of where to go) - swag bags included temporary tattoos, glow-in-the-dark necklace/bracelet, glow-in-the-dark paint - one water station during course and it was room temperature. eww. read on for more details... Event Parking -- Just about the only thing that went smoothly. One issue I had was $10 parking fee. on top of registration, we still have to pay for parking? if you're going to rent a venue out to host an event, consider including parking fees into the registration cost. Entrance -- very poorly organized. from the parking area, we walked in the same direction as the crowd only to find out most of the crowd had walked to the packet pick-up booths. no one was on site to direct people to the starting line, if they were there, they did not speak up and it was hard to tell at night who was staff vs a participant. i didn't see any signs either. we opted to walk into the stub hub center and started following another crowd of people who were luckily walking toward the starting line which was on the completely opposite side of the parking area. Starting Line -- waves of participants went every few minutes. the first 10th of a mile was a narrow bottleneck which made it difficult to even trot Course -- most of the course was well lit. cool, they're being safe, but in all honesty i was expecting more darkened areas with blacklights... it is a neon run, right? the spray tents were a claustrophobic nightmare. many people stayed until they were drenched in glow in the dark water then taking pictures by the blacklights causing a traffic jam. on the last leg of the course, they had us go from one end of a parking lot to the the other end, then back again... i felt like a lab rat in a maze... it was at this point that we lost complete direction of the course and made our own way to the packet pick up location. from here, we were trying to figure out where the finish line was... once again, ZERO help in navigating participants in where to go. i overheard people say the finish line was inside the arena, so we went. i mapped my run using the Nike Running app and came up 1 mile short... walking from the lab rat maze that was the parking lot to packet pick-up definitely was not a mile... taking a look at the course map on their website, i suspect there's an entire section everyone failed to run through (i don't recall running through there) b'coz there was most likely no one there to direct traffic or it wasn't clearly marked. Conclusion: with the lack of organization and staff... i shouldn't have paid for this event and just showed up... maybe i woulda had more fun that way.

EXTREMELY POORLY ORGANIZED EVENT!…read more Packet Pick-Up: Showed up to Sports Authority, walked in, didn't even know where to go. I almost thought I was at the wrong place. I was directed to the back, there was lot's of volunteers ready to assist so that was a good thing. I was picking up packets for my friends, they basically had to sign their life away and donate a kidney in order for me to pick it up (I'm exaggerating - all they had to do was write a letter giving me permission, send a photocopy of their ID, and sign their Hunger Games style waiver). I was given a glow stick necklace, the neon run bib, and a neon run tattoo. NO T-SHIRT. $49 for NO T-SHIRT. Thank God we bought the Groupon for this!!!! I asked for the t-shirt and I was told "T-shirts will be available for sale tomorrow at the event for $15". I was also informed that this is the first time that they do not include the t-shirt in the packet, they did previously. Super bummed. Later that not I realized we weren't given tubes of neon paint. My friend had gone an hour before me and she hadn't gotten the mini neon tube of paint either. Event day: It was relatively easy to get into the parking lot, nothing compare to the nightmare line we faced for the Color Run in OC months ago. Parking was $10 which we thought sucked, we didn't have to pay for parking for the Color Run. There weren't any signs directing us where to go so we just followed the crowds. When we got to the Stub Hub Center it was a mess. People everywhere, lines for late packet pick up, no signs directing us where the start line was. Again we just followed people who looked like they knew where they were going. We walked into the arena, and followed everyone. We get to an area, we see people dancing and a DJ is playing music...then we see a crowd forming at what appears to be (and is) the start line. We were released in short waves. We wove in and out, in and out of parking lots. The first two Neon Spash Zones were disappointing, paint seemed horribly watered down! We just got wet. The last two or three splash zones made up for it, there was someone with buckets of gooey paint and I stood in front of that person and turned around in circles until I was covered in neon paint. Music was really good, otherwise it would get one star. My friends made it fun. Majority of people walked (we did...I wanted to wog/jog but my skinny friends walked it and I was totally fine with that) and we had a good time. Finish line was disappointing, because there was NO indication that it was the Finish Line! no sign, no banner, no extra gooey paint. We just (again) assumed we were at the finish line based on the location and everyone taking photos. We basically made it back to where we started. There were three food trucks, two areas with black lights to take photos (props for having Neon Run volunteers taking pics of everyone with their cell phones) and a merchandise area that I didn't even have to walk over to because from where I stood I could see there was nothing on display to buy other than t-shirts. The t-shirts were really plain. The DJ was playing some kick-ass jams and a lot of people were dancing. If you want to keep reading, let me compare the Neon Run to the Color Run... When I arrived at the pick-up for the Color Run, it looked like a party. It was awesome. We got t-shirts, color packets of powder, tattoos, and directions to the Color Run. Although the Color Run was hellish to get in and out of, we didn't have to pay for parking and there were plenty of signs telling us how to get to the start line. There were half a dozen food trucks, free Victorias Secret drawstring sacks, free Kind bars, free samples of food, tons of porta potties and a very well marked start line and the finish line was like a huge victory celebration. I'm just grateful we got the Groupon hook up for $24 !!! On to the next fun 5K......
