It is now Wednesday at 5 and they are not open even though they say they are open until 7. No sign on the door anywhere to say they are closed. I needed these clothes by Thursday 8am for work and now I am without my clothes. I brought them within plenty of time. I will not be using this company ever again.

It was pure joy for her. I asked when the manager or owner would be in and she said they stop by every day, but not sure when. So basically, no manager or owner are reachable. Wow! That is not a big deal, except that they then argued with both my husband and me on our two individual visits attempting to pick up our clothing. The staff was quite condescending and insisted each of us was mistaken, and that we must be confused about where we took our clothes. We did not have our claim receipt, which is certainly our fault, but we apologized and provided our full names, ID's, phone numbers, address, etc. to help them find our clothing. They would not budge from their insistence that we never had any items there. It was not until my husband went up there after my first attempt, that he identified our laundry bag in the floor in the back, and they then agreed to search through all their racks. They found our clothing quickly after he suggested again that perhaps it was misfiled somewhere using something other than our last name. Not only was my daughter in tears all day that her dress was lost, but now we see it is permanently damaged. Completely unacceptable treatment towards us, a couple who remained polite and calm despite frustration. We both walked in apologizing for losing our claim ticket and offering any info they might need in return.

They have succeeded in ruining another piece of expensive clothing. First they ruined my husband's…read moresuit; they made it right, cool. Gave them the benefit of the doubt; things like this happen, right? Wrong! Dropped off my brand new satin dress to be pressed; never worn, tags still attached. Went to retrieve it; the worker proceeded to fold in THIRDS the satin dress I had Just paid to be pressed. Wow ok, maybe inexperienced. I get home and inspect the dress as I have to wear this out tomorrow night (my fault for not doing so at the cleaners) and find what looks like a boot stain or burn mark all on the backside of my $220 dress. I'll be reaching out in the morning but I am beyond livid. No more chances for this place. Take your expensive items elsewhere. I will say they do an okay job on our comforter, but anything beyond that is being properly dry cleaned somewhere else from now on!

No time specified, so I arrived at 7 Monday when they opened to be told not ready until after 2! My flight leaves at 12:31. Unreal. Had my clothing since Midafternoon the Wednesday prior. Do not recommend if you work and travel- totally screwed trying to piece together outfits before I leave in 2 1/2 hours while conducting business calls. Super-fun. Thanks Scott Cleaners-you lost me. I'd give zero stars if it let me.

It's all coin operated, which is a bummer, the machines in our last town had ones you could do coin or use your debt/credit card in which REALLY simplified having to do a household of 7's laundry all in one day. There are coin exchangers (well, there were two, but one is out of order... which seems to be the theme of this laundromat!) The exchange did give accurate change for a $20 (will take all the way down to $1 bills, excluding $2 bills). Washers were efficient, though there are only 4 of the biggest washers available and they were in hot demand both times we were there. $6.75 as of this post for the larges washers and $5.25 for the next washer down... that's a LOT of quarters!!! The dryers... well, they left a LOT to be desired... Nearly, if not exactly, half of them were out of order!!! You can run the largest ones for 4 minutes per quarter, and they took $2-$2.50 per large load to dry (jeans took a bit more). but with all the machines being out of commission it made jockeying for a dryer a bit of a challenge. This location gets plenty of use, it was hopping both times we went there. I anticipate needing to go for a few more weeks yet too until our laundry room is put back together... if anything changes I will update... but for now, it does the job, but it's not a great experience. Next time I'm gonna do a little research and see if there is another place that might be a little easier to use.

Kelly Avenue Laundry and Second Avenue Laundry, sharing the same owner, are festering hellholes…read more The owner is evidently too tight with her mountains of quarters to allot some of them for new machinery, as a row of FIVE - ALL FIVE, machines on the rear side of the first row have been out of order for well over a year. Ownership needs to remove them or replace them! The chairs at both locations are horrifically uncomfortable, including the ones with hazardous cracked plastic which could easily crack a customer's buttock or leg and cause a nasty infection. Wo knows...it has probably already happened - more than once.

When I dropped off my items, I asked if a certain solvent was used, as multiple of my garments specifically said do not use this solvent. I was met with a blank stare and cluelessness. I then asked if other items could be "gentle dry cleaned" as they also called for this on the tags. Response was they're just gonna throw it in the machine so no. Got home, was checking all of my items, one of the shirts I dropped off shrank at least two sizes, it is extremely small now. Stickers with barcodes were put onto my items and they are basically heat sealed on, so they are nearly impossible to remove, especially on the more delicate pieces. One of the items I dropped off was a very nice sweater I purchased earlier last year, cost somewhere around $400, on top of the heat sealed sticker, they wrote with sharpie on the tag in the back. My issues are all small, but there are enough of them to make me not want to come here again.
