Our experience with American Attic was great. Luis , who I mainly communicated with, came to do our inspection. He was great and gave us a good overview of the condition of our attic. We met with 3 different companies and went with American Attic because they had the lowest estimate and were willing to take care of a couple things that were missed on the initial estimate for the same price. I appreciate their professionalism, thoroughness and cleanliness. We now have peace of mind that our attic is mess and rodent free and well re-insulated. Thank you to Luis and his team who diligently worked hard and in such a hot environment, that is our attic i might add. read more

We had rodents living in our attic, so we hired American Attic to rodent-proof our home, remove the old insulation, and install new insulation. From start to finish, the experience was excellent. Luis performed the initial inspection and was professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. He took the time to explain the entire process in detail and answered all of our questions, which gave us confidence in the work being done. His crew was friendly, trustworthy, hardworking, and very efficient. They completed the job with great attention to detail and did a thorough job cleaning up the work area before they left. We also appreciated receiving before-and-after photos so we could see the results. We are very happy with the quality of their work and highly recommend American Attic to anyone needing rodent-proofing or attic insulation services. read more

We had a great experience working with Juan and his team from America Attic. We had issues with significant air escape through the attic and wanted to make our HVAC system work more efficiently. We were recommended new and upgraded insulation in our attic space. It was easy and quick to get a hold of Juan and we obtained a reasonable quote on the same day; he drove over to our place to take a look at the space to confirm a final quote. We were booked for the job in the same week and the American Attic team was very punctual, quick, and easy to work with. They covered all of the surrounded space and left the area clean. I would definitely recommend American Attic and Juan's team to anyone.

Shivering under 3 blankets and 2 thermals in the living room, I finally had enough -- time to find some R38 insulation! Juan came on a frigid Tuesday morning to take a look. He asked if anyone else had come by. I answered -- "No you're the first." He jokingly quipped "...and the last!" I took the next week talking to 8 other contractors. I called Juan back to do the job the following week. read more

Mr. Santos and his crew have been phenomenal! They spent several hours yesterday plugging holes, blocking access points and setting traps. In less than 24 hours we already have one dead rat in the crawl space and they will come tomorrow morning to retrieve it. Also, I am so happy that they offered me a three year warranty to ensure the problem never returns. Lastly, they have been easy to communicate with, very prompt and professional. They did an excellent job, keeping my house, clean and free of debris and completing the project in a very reasonable amount of time.

They were very reasonable in their price. They did very professional work while covering everything properly. They also finished on time with everything cleaned up. They discovered that attic was slightly bigger than what they had originally quoted but they did not ask an extra money to complete the job. So overall I would definitely recommend them. read more

One day I saw this really cute baby mice in my house, and started to understand how Disney must have felt to get his empire started. However, after seeing more, bigger and meaner looking mices, hearing them running in my attic, I know it's time for professional help. My wife consulted with friends who had similar services 5 years ago, and added urgency to the case: better do it now than waiting since summer hot weather only makes the smell worse. After interviewing a few vendors, we went with American Attic, and was pleased with their professional conduct, especially helping manner during ongoing interactions. Recommend any one with Rosen issue to purse this solution with American Attic. read more

Juan and his team were a pleasure to work with. Responded immediately with a visit for a quote. Price was reasonable and the work was completed quickly. I can already see the benefits of adding insulation in the attic. The house stays a much more consistent temperature and the heater doesn't come on as much at night. Highly recommended business. Great service. read more

American Attic provided outstanding service for a reasonable price. It replaced the old insulation in my attic; replaced the old insulation on my air ducts and furnace with new reflective foil insulation; and rodent proofed the entire house. The trap door to the attic was split in two, so, as a special request, AA obtained plywood, measured it to fit the opening, painted it and replaced the door. At all times owner Juan Santos and his crew (lead by Alfredo) were punctual, professional and neat. Mr. Santos always responded promptly and fully to my many questions, emails and requests. (I also appreciated his patience as I first contacted him in March but didn't proceed with the project for a number of weeks later.) I highly recommend this company. read more

I requested an attic insulation estimate, and Juan, the owner of American Attic, came to look at my unfinished Victorian attic. His company is highly well reviewed, and local. He was prompt, knowledgeable, his estimate was done in a super timely manner, and was easy to understand. Of the 6-7 estimates, his came in best on target. I would recommend American Attic to anyone who asks. As it turned out by chance, however, my husband chose a different company due to an additional necessity he had. American Attic will remain in our files for our further insulation jobs. read more

American Attic was professional in regards to the work performed, their communication to us about what was being done and when, and their pricing was very fair. Short version is that our older single story home is now warmer in the winter where I was consistently running our furnace and dehumidifiers. Now thanks to the work done by American Attic, our heater goes off a lot less and the home feels more comfortable throughout the day. We had blown in insulation done in our attic and had insulation batts and vapor barrier installed in our crawl space after we saw them working on a neighbors' property. After speaking with our neighbor, we decided to ask them for an estimate. The owner, Juan, came by and spoke with us personally. He inspected the property and the job and explained what was needed for the job and gave a detailed invoice for the estimate. On top of the insulation and vapor barrier, we got two sub pumps installed as we live on a hill and their was excess water in our crawlspace. I was very impressed with their concern about the level of cleanliness while they were working and after they left. What also impressed me about American Attic was Juan. After the first day when they installed the sub pump, I informed Juan that I had spoken to our neighbor about their exit valve and how they wished that they had chosen something different. Even though my neighbor's job was technically done, and American Attic was paid, Juan made a point to go speak with that neighbor to insure that they were happy. Juan and his team fixed the issue that the neighbor had even though it was the neighbors' choice to have the exit valve positioned where they had it. This showed me a lot about his concern for a customers' level of satisfaction and also the pride he had his his company's work. American Attic also took care of rodent proofing our crawlspace and attic as part of their service. I highly recommend that you speak with American Attic if you are looking for a similar service. In this day in age where some companies are looking to just make a buck, it's nice to see see people who have pride in their work and who do what they say they are going to do, when they commit to doing it. Thank you Juan for the hard work that you and your team did. Our family is much happier and comfortable in our home thanks to you. read more

American attic was selected after speaking with 6-7 companies. Their price is competitive and their work is detailed and thorough. Since the work were to be done in the attic and crawl space, places we may never know the difference we knew we had to go with a company that we can trust. And Juan the owner is a man of his word and takes pride in his work. Juan come for inspection an hour after we called. Quotation received an hour after inspection, job scheduled for the following week. His team came on time and completed the job thoroughly in 10hrs for a 1100sq ft home. Came out again a day after we called to check on the rat traps. We cannot thank Juan and team enough for the hassle free process and thorough work done. Thanks! read more

We had a mice problem and contacted American Attic online for a quote. Juan reached out to me immediately afterwards and scheduled an appointment for the next day. When Juan arrived, in addition to his punctuality, professionalism, and respectful demeanor, I most of all appreciated his honesty and genuineness to help us. After inspecting our home, instead of trying to upsell and charge us for services we didn't need, Juan offered multiple cost effective options for us to decide what was best/doable for us. He also informed me of additional services they could provide in the future (given our current set up) after the mice situation was resolved. We decided to proceed with their rodent proofing service and Juan was able to schedule it for the very next day! The next day, Alfredo arrived and rodent proofed our entire home within just a few hours! Its been a few days now and so far, there's been no signs of mice-which is such a huge relief and comfort for my family and I. Not only did Juan and Alfredo do an outstanding job, but its rare to find a business now a days that prioritizes their customers over making money, which was truly appreciated. My family and I will be utilizing American Attic for additional services in the future and would definitely recommend them as a trustworthy and honest business. Thank you again, Juan & Alfredo! read more

I contacted American Attic after reading the countless reviews of customer satisfaction. I also researched a little further and discovered that they specialize in Rodent infestations. I emailed Juan (owner) and he responded immediately. He offered a couple of different times for free estimate. The flexibility was a good thing. Upon arrival, I explained my problem. Rat infestation. He checked the interior of the home, including crawl space, exterior of the home and offered a few different solutions to resolve the problem. Once we agreed upon a price, his team arrived on time the following day and worked professionally and expediently through the interior and exterior of the home performing every task that was on the estimate. Lastly, they laid traps throughout the home and provided a plan to follow up for the next three months, no extra charge. The price he gave me included the warrantied work. I caution anyone about hiring pest control companies that don't specialize in Rodent infestations. If not handled properly, you're just wasting your money. I highly recommend (American Attic), Juan and his team. They are prompt, courteous, detailed and professional. Their services were well worth the price. Keep up the great work. I will be spreading the word about your specialized services. read more

Superb Service. Clean. Efficient. Above & Beyond. FIVE STARS +++ I became aware of American Attic via their entry in the Diamond Certified booklet sent to my home. After checking their stellar reviews on line, I contacted Juan, the owner, who promptly scheduled an appointment, sending his son Luis, who did a complete, mindful and tidy inspection of my project. (Special Note: Luis actually gave about 40 minutes of his time helping me help a neighbor who was in physical distress!!!) I required the addition of insulation, to the attic and within our expanded crawl space of the original section of our 1925 redwood framed/stucco CA cottage, Luis emailed a detailed and fair quote, which considered that my project only required install, no removal, no debris cleaning & no apparent rodent incursion. After quote review, I booked the job. American Attic company is family owned, intentionally kept small and employs a dedicated crew, with one exception; a contract specialist was brought in to properly insulate an attic of an upstairs room, NOT accessible via the larger attic. In this case, small holes were strategically opened in the room's ceiling, so to evenly blow in & distribute the insulation. Good know for neat-niks, those concerned about site cleanliness: Luis' team wore booties over their shoes, taped down a walkway of thick plastic & put up a plastic containment curtain. They also minimized incursion into our home by running the insulation supply hose through a window. This job was completed within 5 hours. Luis was on-site for part of the time to provide job oversight and to answer my questions. I have had experience with many trades people. Most were good or very good. Luis and his team were exceptional. read more

Juan gave us a competitive quote and itemized all the work that would be covered. The team showed up when scheduled and completed all the work as promised. They prepared the floor and walls to prevent any dirt from getting inside the house and cleaned up and removed everything before leaving. Great service experience with this team Pre sale process was easy and efficient with fair pricing Day of the crew was super clean in putting up plastic barriers from our 2 entrances. They also worked at a reasonable sound level which is important since I WFH. When they left, it was like they were never there Post sale we heard sounds during a storm. Was it a rat? Team came right away to inspect. I climbed up too. The traps were still up and there were no droppings or tunnels or other disturbances All good read more
