It's a 104 degrees and my air conditioner stopped working. I was not able to get ahold of the company initially through the phone due to technical issues. I received a text asking if I needed any help. That's when I knew we were off to a great start. I was impressed by the reviews. But I was overwhelmed with how efficiently and quickly Derek was able to address and solve my problem. When the outdoor temperature would exceed 100 my outdoor unit fan would stop spinning and would pump in warm air. Derek arrived at my residence within 45 minutes of me making my same day appointment. He solved the problem within an hour and stayed to ensure the problem did not arise. Derek is very knowledgeable. Not only was he able to diagnose and fix the problem with minutes, Derek was able to explain it to me in a way that even I could understand the problem. The total repair cost me around $200. It was all well deserved. He worked hard and fast in 104 degree heat. I highly recommend this company! read more

Not a good experience :( During the SoCal heatwave this week my A/C stopped working. I wanted to have a local company do the work so I searched online and in local mailers. Ameduri was one of 3 companies I called that could come out the same day. Their $85 Service Call was a little more then the others, but we needed it fixed ASAP. They arrived on time and after I filled them in that everything works except the blower motor they started to diagnose the HVAC. Within about 15 minutes Derek told me that they needed to do a more comprehensive system check that would cost $145. I asked what's the difference from the $85 I was told? He said the $85 would be for a simple fix, like a dead battery or something and this would take them longer to check everything. I told him that I felt like the service call should already include checking everything. Derek's reply was "We can pack up and leave." Right there I should have let them go, but I still had no AC and the 1st company wasn't going to work out. This didn't sit well with me but I agreed. I was about to call their office to question what I felt was a little bait and switch like, when I realized that Derek is the owner. A little over a hour later (2:20pm) he told me that the motor is bad. He said the office is looking to see if they could find a replacement and they will call me with a quote when they find it. Then, the 3rd HVAC company arrived right after, within 15 minutes of testing told me the motor was bad. He showed me what they checked in order to rule out the Control Board, ECM, relays and fuses. They even showed me how everything else worked but the motor. The technician found a supplier with the replacement, picked it up and returned to finish the repair including a thorough system check before 5:00pm. They went above and beyond and he wasn't even the company owner!! Meanwhile, I barely received an email from Ameduri a day later that they are still looking for a replacement motor. Thanks a lot... read more

Ameduri saved us from suffering in a recent miserable heatwave. It was Labor Day weekend. Saturday night, to be exact. Our A/C stopped working just as the hottest days were ahead of us. I emailed Ameduri on Sunday morning with a service request. They promptly replied via text and said they could fit us in on LABOR DAY?! What a relief! I was already resigned to waiting until Tuesday or later. It turned out to be the capacitator. It's an older system. Derek was very, very patient and thorough. He made recommendations but did not push for any extra services. Ameduri is knowledgeable, professional, and reliable. We are very pleased with them and will be using them for future HVAC needs. THANK YOU AMEDURI Heating and Air!! Derek, you are the BEST!!! read more

We had Ameduri Heating and Air Conditioning replace our old central air and heating system recently. Derek and his crew did an absolutely excellent job in replacing the old units with new upgraded units. The heating system is located in our attic which does not allow for a lot of room to work. The new unit was installed without any issues and is working flawlessly. We are very pleased with the overall experience and the value proposition that Ameduri Heating and Air Conditioning delivers with respect to price, quality products and exceptional customer support. I would highly recommend you consider Ameduri Heating and Air Conditioning for your heating and air conditioning needs. David and Debbie Glendora California read more

Alright, I don't usually give 5 stars but in this case I felt the need. I went through all the HVAC guys in glendora/Azusa, and everyone of them could not figure out my air flow problem for an addition. Within a few minutes, Derek had figured out the problem, and proposed a solution. My renters are now happy with the air and the solution worked great. Best in the business and most professional Ive worked with. He is now my go to guy for any HVAC Needs. I guess there is a reason he has all 5 stars for his reviews. read more

I was looking to replace my existing a/c system and possibly my furnace. Amerduri was one of 3 quotes I received. He gave the most thorough review of my current system and the best price. He helped weigh our needs versus costs and the benefits of different units. Derek was friendly, presentable and professional. We took his quote and everything went as he presented. He guided us through the entire process, explained everything he was doing on each step and was always on time and timely with his service. We are very happy we used Ameduri and would recommend Derek and his team to anyone who is need of HVAC service. read more

Fan on outdoor AC condensor Unit went dead in July. Called couple of companies and Ameduri could come out right away. Was quoted a low ball figure for diagnostic house call over phone. I had done some research and knew all that was needed was a 5uF capacitator. Could have changed myself with UTube, but looked bit dangerous. When repairman here, he had to go out "to truck to figure out final price" and came back with a figure of $245. When I asked him why so much, he gave some bull story about "competitive rates with local companies." The repair literally took 10 mins to install the new $25 capacitator, so overall was charged $225 for 10 mins labor. STEAR CLEAR of this company; if they rip off this much for a minor repair, I can imagine how you would pay for a major repair or a new install............. read more

My husband and I have been using Ameduri Heating and Air Conditioning for a few years now. They are always easy to get on the phone, Alana is kind and professional. Derek is usually out that day or the next. He is knowledgeable, thorough, and explains everything. His prices are very competitive. In years past we had a few minor issues with our unit and Derek was quick with the repairs, even in 100+ heat. I had a new heating and AC system installed in December. They kept everything very clean during the install and were done in one day. I am very happy with my new unit and happy with the price. Derek is my go-to HVAC guy. read more

I came to Yelp to look for a company to install a complete A/C/Heater systems in one of my homes. I settled for Ameduri Heating & A/C because of the great reviews. After accepting his most reasonable proposal we setup a schedule. The day the work was to begin he showed up EXACTLY at the appointed time, did the work competently, cheerfully, cleanly..his recommendations were spot on , never trying to sell me something and even gave me a break on a new thermostat installation. I was so pleased with his work, that I hired him again to do a complete ductwork job on another property. Once again, he was competent, respectful, cordial, clean and the price was VERY competitive. He came , did the work, no drama whatsoever, highest quality work for a VERY reasonable and competitive price. The best recommendation I can give them is that I used them twice and will hire them again for other A/C jobs soon. They deserve my highest recommendation period. read more

Ameduri Heating & Air Conditioning is the BEST!!!! They are fast, efficient, and reasonably priced. Just after SCE had shut off my AC for 5 days straight, my AC unit stopped functioning in this 105+ degrees weather. When I called Ameduri Heating & Air Conditioning yesterday, and spoke with Ilana, I was pleasantly surprised to hear that she remembered me from a small job they did for me about a year ago. Ilana is pleasant, professional, organized, interested in hearing the details, and sharp as a tack! Since this has to be the busiest week of the year for AC companies in the area, I was sure it would be days until they could fit me in, but again I was pleasantly surprised when Ilana said Derek could be out today (and I called them in the afternoon!). Derek was also professional and pleasant, and was completely prepared for the job. He diagnosed the issue quickly, explained to me what the issue was (in plain English), provided me with a very reasonable quote (with no upselling) and he even had the part with him already! He completed the repair quickly, and I am now enjoying a very nice temperature for the first time in a week, and am so grateful! I highly recommend them! Thank you Derek and Ilana! read more

Highly recommended! My wife's parents thermostat decided to give up the ghost. I needed simple so I purchased a Honeywell PRO model. Upon installation, I realized it needed constant power so I made a late PM call to Ameduri. Derrick arrived early the next day and after assessing the problem for about 5 minutes had a solution. He installed parts (at no additional charge) and programmed the thermostat. In less than an hour at the cost of the original service charge, he had the system working like a charm. I will use his company for any HVAC issue we have. As a side note, Derrick has 12+ years of experience but he recently started the business. He deserves your trust. read more

We have nothing but good things to say about Derek and his company. He showed up on time, explained the repairs to me in language that I could understand and kept me informed. Derek arrived today to fix our A/C unit that stopped working on the hottest day of the year. After inspecting the unit, he determined that it was a failed capacitor and promptly replaced it. Within minutes of this, we were back in business!! Derek was a pleasure to work with; prompt, courteous and professional. I had an emergency situation with my tenants, and usually my husband does all the repairs for us but unfortunately we were unable to find an AC part store open at 7pm on Tuesday night to buy a capacitor. So we had to wait until Wednesday. My husband ended up getting stuck at work and couldn't leave early. I could NOT leave my tenants without AC any longer. So I started calling around. I was so fortunate Derek was able to go within hours of me calling. It was unbelievable. This company is very honest as we already knew it was the capacitor and they didn't try to come out with any additional issues that some companies do. My tenants were very happy with Derek's service, therefore I recommend to anyone with AC issues! read more

UNBELIEVABLE SERVICE from Ameduri Heating and Air Conditioning. My heating unit had been working on and off for the past month. It blew cold air periodically and had been happening more frequently. Last week it stopped working completely and only blew cold air. I am always skeptical of new service people, so I asked a relative for a reference. He recommended Ameduri Heating and Air in Glendora after a great experience with them. I gave them a call and scheduled an appointment for the same day. Derek arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the problem to a faulty heating element. He had the replacement part in his truck and quickly replaced the part. I also had him look at the condition of my duct work in the attic because I was not getting much airflow in some rooms. Apparently, some of the ducts became disconnected. Derek quickly repaired those as well. My heating unit now works like new with no issues and airflow is balanced throughout the house. After the job was complete, I found out that Derek is the owner of the company. He was very personable and extremely knowledgeable. He truly cared to get the job done to my satisfaction. The cost of the repair was very reasonable. I can recommend Ameduri Heating and Air Conditioning without hesitation. read more

AC wasn't cooling so called Ameduri based on reviews and neighborhood app. Derrick came out and did some checking. He went to get tools from the truck and took long so I went to check on him and he was on the phone with someone who seemed to be consuting him. He finally came in and said there was a leak. I chose to have him top off Freon because he didn't seem experienced and knowledgeable enough to repair or replace. After a couple of uses, it's not blowing as cold again, of course. read more
