This was my second stop on a Jackson Heights food crawl (after Merit Kabab Palace). The beef momo was soooo good and they give you white halal sauce which goes beautifully with the momo. Definitely some of the best momo I've had.

Hands down our pick for the winner at the 2024 12th annual momo crawl! Unfortunately, they did not win. The momos were perfectly steamed and the beef and veggie momos seasoned just right! The white sauce paired perfectfully, but still great just as is. Delicious and will definitely visit again.

Ordered: Beef Momos (8pc for ~$7) Aya's take: First time trying proper momos and they did not disappoint! Momos are popular dumplings found in Tibetan and Nepali cuisine (maybe others too). They are typically steamed and filled with some kind of protein. We got the Beef Momos which had plenty of beef filling and the dumpling itself was a bit chewy but overall soft and easy to eat. The real flavor comes from the white sauce and chili sauce you can add to your liking. It gave the Momos a layer of depth it didn't have. Great try and great price!

This food truck serves some of the heartiest momo on the streets of Jackson Heights. We got 8 thick and meaty beef momo for $8 at Amdo Kitchen. The go-to sauces here are the red sauce and white sauce. The halal momo are complimented with a thicker, chewier dough than other momos - it takes me three bites to finish each one. Amdo Momo is a favorite for those looking for an authentic taste of Tibetan cuisine. Don't forget to ask for the side of radish!

Nice flavor on the beef momos! Worth a second trip!

Beautiful handcrafted momos. Worth the experience and trip! Come with nice julienne-cut radish as well as delicious chili sauce. $7 a pop Really good and worth a trip... or ten!! They also sell frozen momos in wholesale packs of 25/50/100!!

first time trying momos and i was not disappointed! ordering was quick and easy. i got the beef momos and they were $7 for 8 pieces (as of may 2023). the momos had a nice chewy skin and beefy, flavorful filling. they were juicy! pair them with the hot sauce or the creamy white sauce, it's a pretty quick and filling meal. highly recommend this place!

3/3 Food; 1/1 Service; 1/1 Value As a huge fan of street food in Jackson Heights, Amdo Kitchen is a staple on my itinerary every time I do a food tour in the area. As such, it was the first stop on my list while giving a food tour of Jackson Heights to a visiting friend who never had Tibetan momos before. The service is super fast, efficient and friendly-- the momos are ready made and steamed in advance, so expect to be served within literal minutes of ordering. We shared an order of the beef momos (8 momos for $7), and it was heavenly with the hot sauce and creamy white sauce and thickly sliced seasoned onions. The momos are beautifully juicy and bursting with flavor! The hot sauce can be pretty potent if you are not used to eating spicy foods, but I found it to be an absolutely perfect accompaniment. The value here is incredible considering the price for rather large momos, and I will most definitely be frequenting again and again!

Place is open late, 12:30am! The dumplings are so perfectly cooked. Chewy skin, warm and gooey inside and staya intact! Neighborhood staple!!!

Just the absolute best momos you can get. The guy who mans the truck is a little quiet so don't be discouraged if he doesn't respond to you right away. Give him some time to get his bearings and do not be rude to him as I've seen so many people do when they walk up to his truck. The beef momos are where they are at. You get 8 for $7 and this is probably the best value meal you can buy in all of NYC right now. The Veggie momos were pretty weak honestly as they were mostly cabbage and I would recommend skipping them unless you can't eat meat. I think one of the highlights for me is the hot sauce. It's got great flavor with just enough heat/kick. It's not enough to make me full on tear out sobbing, but it is definitely enough to make me sweat a little bit and feel warm.

This is a Tibetan Momo food truck moment, in the heart of Jackson Heights, right around the corner from Patel Brothers. Jackson Heights can be a lot so a grounding, robust portion of piping hot momos, eaten away from the fray, is the quiet and soothing experience you require. I got an order of veg momos--stuffed with cabbage, mushrooms, maybe some scallion?--wrapped in pliant, silky dough that has the sort of resilience that provides a bit of push back when bitten through. If pressed I'd say just south of al dente and more along the lines of an excellent xiao long bao, where the dough has to keep the soup and the filling, dumpling shaped, over time. These momos are large and stuffed to the hilt, with eight crowding a takeout container. Make sure to ask for the pickled radish condiment! Long, thin, squiggly ribbons of daikon radish, lightly fermented and tangy, draped across steaming momos, finished with the "house special" white sauce. I asked what was in the sauce and received a grin as reply, neighbor to the one I had when I took my first bite. Delicious! And because I'm a peppa head, I had to add plenty of their liquidy chili condiment, too. I ate some right there and took the remaining home. Next time I'll get two orders :D

I think these are the best momos in Queens. They sell them frozen in 50 piece bags and I've loved them as a quick and cozy quarantine snack. Their beef is my favorite, so much liquid inside, I'm always a little careful with my first bite!

    best when fresh!

Best street MOMOS ever. This place should be part of any food tour you take around Queens, let alone NYC.

Only had the beef momos for takeaway. Just so-so. The young man working at the truck is cute and polite.
