This is a movie theater experience like no other. Reserved seats with awesome recliners and tables for your waiter delivered food and drink service. The menus are extensive and offer something for everyone. The food and drink prices are not crazy and actually quite similar to prices and offerings at an Applebee's. This is truly a dinner and a movie experience. That being said I highly recommend getting there an hour early to enjoy dinner with your date. They also have a fully stocked bar in the lobby. Whoo. My first visit since the remodel and gotta say I don't hate it. Coke Freestyle machine is a good addition..which i am assuming means you can get refills on your own which is nice instead of asking the guy behind the counter to touch your cup and get you the refill all awkwardly. Another good upgrade is the cleared out all those obnoxious neon light emitting video games that induced epileptic seizures upon viewing in passing. Though the space seems vast and oddly situated with few options. Chairs are nice roomy and relaxing. Good no more "coat chairs" and having to walk sidestep about half a mile to exit the row if you were doomed to the middle. Though yeah, I could have dealt with my feet a bit higher/a little more reclining action Nice carpeted floor throughout eliminates the dreaded sticky movie theatre floor we all know and fear. While walking the hall before you get to any theatre the reverberation of the sound system upgrade can be heard and felt through the walls very slightly. I came here from Worcester because I a. Wanted to try the dine-in theater experience and b. I prefer AMC theaters because of my stubs membership. As older buildings go I was surprised by how modernized this place is. The dine-in experience was a lot of fun and extremely comfortable! You get a big lazy-boy kind of seat for yourself which doubles as a sofa (which is good alone or with a date). They bring you food, whatever you want to eat really, they have a fairly extensive menu, and the service is excellent. The only thing they're lacking is there's no IMAX, a dine-in IMAX would be the greatest thing ever! But as movie theaters go this is one of the best I have been to and I highly recommend! We bought tickets for the dine in theatre. Just fyi, you cannot order food from your seat. We realized this about 10 minutes before our movie was supposed to start. We waited in line at the front of the theater to place our food order and the food was supposed to be delivered to our seats. We saw a movie that was just under two hours and never received our food. They did redund us the money, but didn't offer anything else. There was at least one other family that did not receive their food, as well. Our son was disappointed. read more

AMC Refund SCAM Purchased tickets on AMC's online website at 3:am for Star Wars. I put down the wrong date, so opted to get a refund and purchase the right date/times tickets. Got an email saying "Your refund is on its way!" Well that was in Mid December, It is Now February 2018! I called AmC Framingham 16 many times, they keep telling me different things. Each time though that an investigation will happen and I will get notified of what happened. They also keep asking me "Did you check your bank account?" Yes! You Idiots! I wouldn't be calling otherwise, I even called the bank and they said no such transfer was initiated. One will say it was sent, another will say it was sent the day I asked for the refund, regardless they are lying. This is a 30 dollar loss. I will be Contacting the Attorney Generals Office, as I can prove AMC never sent me a dime! Too many employees at companies let their computer systems do the work and they just recite the same old rhetoric not checking out for themselves. Lazy. Maybe calling it a pit is a little too strong, but for a "dine-in" experience it was awful. I'm sure the pandemic has affected them, but the dine-in used to be a premium experience. Now you have to wait 20 minutes in the concession line to put in the order. AMC advertises mobile ordering, but not in Framingham. Of the 4 freestyle coke machines, two were out of order and one of the two working ones didn't have ice. Yes they brought our dinners in so that was nice. but no napkins or tableware? Went to this theater to see a movie and they told me LEAVE. They claimed that I was a child when I am CLEARLY above the age of 17. I was insulted and left with tears forming in my eyeballs. I was stunned that they did not accept vaccination cards as a form of identification as I am a shit driver and do NOT have my drivers license. I am APPALLED by this behavior. On top of this, they were not able to refund me for my $170 order. This RUINED my grandpas 78th birthday. All he wanted to do was "Don't Worry Darling", because he really enjoys Harry Styles. I will not be silent. I have had enough. The lady who helped me had putrid breath and belittled me. She spoke to me like a child and QUOTE "I like being mean." Eek! Mice!! I've been to this theater many times and enjoyed it. The seats are comfortable and I love that you can reserve your seat ahead of time. However. There are mice in the theater. I saw two while I was there last week. Running around under the feet of the people across the row from us and a couple of rows up. Maybe it's inevitable, food and darkness. But these were bold mice! And it was pretty obvious from the reaction of the server (yes!! They serve food!!) that it wasn't a surprise. Those mice must be all over the seats and trays while the theaters are empty. It's completely disgusting. An acquaintance of mine was there this week, and apparently a mouse ran out from under her chair. So they haven't taken care of the problem. Very disappointing! read more

Unfortunately I now bring clorox wipes to wipe down my seat becasue they do a horrible job of cleaning. With kids and people eating you need to do more than just vacuum. Drinks spill, food drops. Its normal. But NOT cleaning is not okay. I saw one post that talked about popcorn in between the seat and that has happened on my last 3 visit and now this was my seat. If I am going to spend $16 for a movie I would like to have the seat not be ripped up. I had to go back to customer service to move my seat and the next seat the seat didn't recline.. that was find out after I cleaned that seat too.. there are a LOT of seats that are like this. While we realize people are probably not perfect in treating the seats and they rip. You still have to maintain the integrity and this is NOT an acceptable seat. Please fix the seats as they start to rip. It is not comfortable to sit on these chairs, especially in the summer when you wear shorts. Tried to buy tickets online twice this AM for movie this afternoon at 3:30 so I went to the theater in person around 10:20 to 10:30am I told the guy at the ticket window that the site didnt work twice - he shrugged his shoulders and said "that's not really my job with an atitude" - I said "really" - he was a jerk and bad employee. Will re-think this theater in future. After going here and sitting in the dine in seats I'm hesitant to go to any other theater to see a major release. Big chairs. Zero crowding. Smell of feces coming from the cushions? That last one really kind of ruins the previous two (which were probably awesome if it weren't for the waft of poop stench every time the cushions were compressed). Finally! Civility. Reserved seating means the need to rush in like a herd of cattle trying to avoid being cramped next to two teenagers sucking face (or worse) is gone. Electric leather recliners mean it is better than watching at home. In seat food service means you don't have to get up in the middle of the movie to get a soda or more popcorn and miss something exploding or the most memorable scene in Saw 27. It also means you can get diabetes without having to lift a finger. Ahh, America. I go to movies, especially amc theaters all the time. This is by far the worst theater I've ever been to. There was trash stuffed in all of our cup holders, wrappers and food all over our seats. Luckily I had Clorox wipes with me, but I had to wipe and clean all my own recliners and there's still trash all around. There was also spilled sauce. I have historically loved going to this theater - the comfortable reclining seats, spacious legroom, full bar - but I had the absolute WORST experience at an AMC tonight. My husband and I went to see 'Guardians of the Galaxy' at a Fork & Screen showing. The show was at 7:05 and we were super early. Took our seats at 6:20. Wait staff didn't even appear until 6:55... we were COMPLETELY ignored. No one approached us. Everyone else was getting served and we were just sitting there while 3 waiters helped everyone around us. As the movie was starting, my husband went and grabbed us popcorn and soda at concession. We had plenty of time to do that before the movie but thinking we would have a server, we didn't. Shame on us. Lesson learned. We will take our money elsewhere. read more

The other night My boyfriend and I got tickets ahead of time for an almost sold out movie. We get to the theatre and it turns out the theatre we were supposed to be in broke so we were switched to a different theatre. There were three employees trying to get everyone to their new seats and to be honest it was a mess but they were doing the best they could in this situation. Everyone in the theatre got a free movie voucher which was great. I don't understand how people are saying this place is nice and clean??? It's FILTHY. 1) The bathrooms!!!! I've never once been when the bathrooms are clean enough to use, and that bar is pretty low. Dirty toilet paper and pieces of toilet paper EVERYWHERE, puddles (of what, I'm not sure, I'd rather not think too hard on it) near the toilets, at least 3 toilets always backed up, 2-4 stalls out of order at any given time. Straight up disgusting. I'm not sure that anyone cleans them at all during the day. 2) The soda area. The floors are ALWAYS sticky and have soda puddles. I've been to the first showing of the day and there are puddles. It's never stocked well, so you have to hunt down lids (which I can deal with, but not the puddles!). Sticky, gross counters. Again, it's clear that no one is cleaning this area. I honestly don't care what the price of the food is, I expect it to be high. I like the reclining seats, but without fail I get the one that is cock-eyed, so I end up sloping down on one side. Whatever, I can look past that. But not the EASY fixes like posting an employee to wipe up spills by the machines and someone to clean the bathrooms hourly. I've contacted AMC, but I don't have much faith, as I can't be the first person to report this. read more

I love coming to this theater. It is convenient, is super comfy, has tons of movie options, and even has eats. They have improved the menu over the past year and I find a lot more options that I enjoy. I wish there were more healthier options (even their salads can easily get over 1000 calories) but they have lots of veggies represented nonetheless. My biggest complaint is definitely the cleanliness. They do what they can in the short turnover time in the theaters between movies, so I understand stray popcorn here and there. What I don't get is how gross the bathrooms can get. It is not uncommon to have to go to three or four different stalls to find a suitable one. Free of soggy toilet paper on the ground. Free of pee-covered seats. And fully stocked! There have been times where the hand dryers has a greenish moldy sheen at the bottom, but someone must have warned them about that since the past few months have been free and clear. Cleanliness aside, I still plan on going back a lot. I love choosing my (comfy) seat and not rushing to get in to be split from my group. read more

I was surprised at this movie theater. I usually dont watch movies but I was adamant about watching Parasite again. We where feeling hungry and wanted to try the lunch and a movie experiences. The seats are wide and comfortable. Although the buttons are sticky, they work. Staff will come to your seat and take your order. We had the wings, which tasted great. First mistake: we didn't make sure we were in a theatre with dine in service. Our mistake, but not obvious from the ordering process. Even if we did get dine in service though, I'm not sure I would be pleased. The burger was pretty well recommended, and for 15 dollars I was hoping it would be at least good, if not unique. Great movie theater with comfortable seats. Sound quality and picture quality are excellent. Problem is the overall cleanliness. Men's room across from Theater 16 smells like a public toilet in the NYC subway. I complained to a kid before I went into the movie. On the way out 2.5 hours later, still smelled just as bad and floors still a mes. Having to stand in someone else's "miss" is totally unacceptable at the urinal. Spoke with Manager this time, who knows if anyone acted. 2nd time we've gotten to our reserved seats only to find previous tenants popcorn droppings and trash were not cleared out. MICE EVERYWHERE!! There are no doors to the kitchen, just open entryways...you can be sure the mice from the theatres are gorging themselves at night on food in the kitchen. And people still come here and order food from a disease-infested food establishment? What is wrong with humanity??? I saw 3 mice when I went to a show on 10/23 and I will never go back. This was a good theater experience; I don't know what it has such a low rating. We opted for a before-noon show, so it was $7. We ordered and reserved our seats online the day before, so there was an additional $1.50 pp fee. What I like about this theater is every seat is a recliner, and they are pretty nice recliners with buttons that smoothly adjust the seat four ways. I have not tried the dine-in experience bc personally I like to see my food when I eat it, so I can't respond to that, but everything else was pretty on-par with the average movie theater. The bathrooms were a little on the dirty side, but, again, nothing abnormal for a movie theater. We came on the free large popcorn day, which was pretty awesome! It isn't well advertised and I'm not sure how often it happens, but I think you just have to be a rewards member or something (free) to be eligible. We aren't super close to Framingham, but we would definitely come back to this theater. It's super convenient to be able to order and reserve your seats days in advance, so you don't have to worry about getting there early to get a good seat! This isn't a review for the movie, it's for the restaurant adjacent to the bar. We could have eaten at a local restaurant but opted for the movie restaurant. How bad could it be? I was expecting the worst. Well, let's start with customer service. Nick was outstanding. He's the bartender, helped us with our selections and promised to bring our orders. I had the caprizzi flat bread and Laura had the quinoa burger. OUTSTANDING! Well prepared and presented. The food was delicious and priced about the same as at local restaurants plus we got the calorie count. It is no wonder people prefer to stay at home and watch movies on their big screen TVs. Why go to a theater that won't police the premises? Every time I go there there is always numerous morons talking through the whole movie or constantly playing with their phones ruining the movie! So the choice is get up, miss a good part of a the movie and get some staff to take care of it, why cant they just come through every so often especially at the beginning and see what needs to be taken care of? This question was posed to the different managers over time after numerous visits, they were polite and offered free passes which is very nice. But why not just police the theater and take care of the problem?? Besides this I am tired of during the winter they purposely keep the theater cold to save money and during the summer skimp on the AC at times, again when talking to the manger they are polite and offer free tickets.. GEEEEEEEZ! Take care of the problems so the customers NEVER have to complain in the first place!! Over priced food and this whole selling a large box of candy with barely anything inside is SUCH a boldly outrages fraud it is surprising someone hasn't brought a class action suit against this. Try offering the customers a comfortable, relaxing and value, this will increase your business, NOT screwing them. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I had a question about the actual start and end times of a move showing as I was concerned about whether or not i would have a schedule conflict and need to cancel. I tried calling over FORTY TIMES for over an hour to ask my simple question. It took a half hour of non stop calling to finally get someone to answer the call. They were very rude on the phone and I decided I would need to cancel-however when I went to do so their site said I was too close to the start time and wouldn't refund my ticket. I then spent an additional 20 minutes calling before I got that person on the phone again. They didn't seem to know what they were doing and a minute in i got disconnected or hung up on. I then spent ANOTHER 20 minutes calling non-stop before I just drove 20 minutes to the theater to talk to them in person. Turns out the person I spoke with on the phone was the supervisor. He continued to be very rude and NEVER EVEN APOLOGIZED for the incident. I finally got a makeup ticket, but I am still just so upset and irritated. How can the supervisor not care about his theater guests and their experience? I've been a supervisor myself and I have no idea how someone so inept, flippant, and uncaring got the job. If this is the way they operate I would rather go to another theater or watch a movie on my laptop from the comfort of home!!! We're clearly not worth their time, so why should they be worth ours? read more

I'll preface this with the fact that we come here about once a week so I have a large sample size. Pros: -comfortable seats that recline and actually give you space between you and the person next to you -variety of movies shown Cons: -AC is spotty; sometimes by the end of a movie it's sweltering in the theater -audience can be variable (sometimes rowdy and loud) -concession stand service is slow and inefficient. They never have enough people working, and some people are restocking the already-filled shelves while there's a long line -fork and screen service is slow -cleaners come in before the end of the movie and are often disruptive -now that there are assigned seats, it's harder to go to the movies spontaneously -bathrooms are usually gross and there's always at least one faucet or soap dispenser not working Bottom line: they're the only major theater near us, so they have a captive audience and no incentive to improve. read more

The new Dine-in seats are pretty slick. However, they lack lumbar support so expect your back to be sore after a long movie. We watched the 3D version of Star Wars, and it was relaxing. The angle of the seating is great, and having advanced reservations really saves a lot of time with waiting in-line. The seats can get pretty dirty depending on how diligently the staff cleans, so help them out! read more

Came here for opening night of The Spy Who Dumped Me with my sister for a fun movie night. We were so hyped to go see it, we were in for a fun night we thought! We got the dine in service theater so we could get waited on and enjoy the movie. We got here about 30 minutes early for a 7:30 show, we walked right in and were scoping out where our seats were. And just like that my sister spotted a mouse! We immediately alerted a staff member who came back with a manager. This "manager" wasn't wearing a name tag and he said he couldn't do much about it but wait till after the show to put traps in, wanted us to go back in and watch our movie like nothing happened. He did return about 10 minutes later to give us some free passes for our inconvenience. We walked back in and attempted to get situated. But behold we saw a pack of about 4-5 mice running around our very seats! We were both disgusted and walked right out to the guest services counter to complain again. This time we talked to a different manager named Corey. He apologized profusely and got us tickets in a completely different theater for a different movie at the same time, The Meg. We went to the bar to order food and drinks like we had planned. Our night didn't go as planned and I am sad to say I won't be coming back here anytime soon.
