I can't say enough about how awesome the Boston Studio Rentals experience is/was. I happened to find the venue via a general Google search and I am so glad I did. My original venue for my daughter's 11th Karaoke Bash fell through last minute and from the moment I reached out to Giovanni, my nerves were at ease. His willingness to take calls and answer every question/concern/or crazy idea I had to make this party the very best my daughter could have hoped for was priceless. The venue is incredibly clean and when they refer to it as a blank canvas, truer words haven't been spoken. I happened to take my walk through a week prior to my event taking place and I was greeted by the smell of a freshly cleaned establishment. That may not mean much to many, but it's incredibly reassuring to know that deep cleans happen in these venues, especially in a "post-covid" world. We rented the Medium room and had about 35-40 attendees in there with no issues. We had about twenty 11-12 year olds in there singing and dancing their heads off and there was still ample room for our set-up. The sound system in the room is out of this world, you can't help feel like you are in a stadium with the quality. The lighting set just the right ambiance. We were going for the upscale Karaoke Lounge Vibe and because of the versatility of the space, it exceed our expectations and that of our guests. Another noteworthy point, is that the venue houses multiple rooms that can be used at the same time. I know our party was loud, by mere virtue of it being a karaoke party, but when we left the room, you couldn't really hear it. I certainly couldn't hear the other party happening down the hall, either. Overall, if you are looking for a clean, modern, inviting space with incredible management, cocktail tables and 8-top dinner tables, linens, and a reasonable rental contract (6 hours) look no further. Boston Studio Rentals has everything you need and more. This is exactly what our communities need. Do not rent from this establishment. On 6/20/25 my daughter had her baby shower. The tables and chairs were dirty with food particles, and had to asked to be cleaned. Their bartender was going around giving away free complimentary alcohol, though children and those who do not drink alcohol. Next a tall man who stated he owns the establishment was dancing as though he was a party to the function and a troublemaker. Later on he harassed one of the guest to leave. He intentionally followed the guest outside harassing him. I asked him why did he come outside harassing my son with his friends? and what he said to me shocked me. He said he wanted to see my son leave. I then replied that you specifically came outside to start violence and trouble with your friends. He then replied that he owns the place inside and outside . This type of attitude is that of a bully, an instigator and trouble maker. The police was called. 3 police vehicles came to their establishment. The aggressor the man who claimed he owns the place was told by the police to go inside. The persons who rented the place explained to the police. The police stated they come there alot for similar problems. See the police reports for that establishment to verify my accuracy. The owner will try to use damage control to this horrible place with trashy people, violent people running their business. Complaints were filed with various organizations and the consumer division. To the owner : do not send any threatening message to my daughter not to write her bad experience. She cannot be intimidated or manipulated. What an amazing space! We had the opportunity to not only host our baby shower at Boston Studio Rental but also shoot our maternity shoot here! Each experience was a dream. Starting with the intake. The intake form was thorough without being tedious. The questions are thoughtful and the additional add-ons (Photo booth, fog machine, large leather tufted chairs) makes this Studio a one stop shop! Once we completed our intake. We received an email with the details. The very next day the lovely, Brenda, reached out to ask me if I had any questions and to schedule a tour. She was truly accommodating to my work schedule and allowed for an "after hours" tour . The location is easy to get to from any highway and there is ample parking which I appreciated. For our maternity shoot, we used our own photographer, who was impressed with the offerings of the space. When we ran into a snag with our photographer's equipment, Giovanni, the owner, stepped right on in to provide guidance and get us back on track. For our baby shower, our guests loved the space, found it easy to get to. We loved how customizable the space was when decorating. We also loved the option of having a bartender! The customer service and communication starting from inquiring about the space was top notch! The fact that Giovanni's hospitality exceeded expectations the day of the event was just icing on the cake. Giovanni is a wonderful photographer. After just one time in the studio I felt very welcomed and comfortable. If there was ever times that I wasn't so comfortable and confident, Giovanni would be right there to give me assurance and maybe crack a smile. I had the pleasure of working with Giovanni and Niara recently after I was picked for a photoshoot. I do not consider myself a model at all but boy let me tell you they make you feel like your the hottest celebrity out there. On arrival they made me feel so welcomed, they had snacks and wine set up. They also, had a make up artist on scene that made me feel so beautiful. It's hard for me to come out of my shell and be comfortable around a camera. Giovanni made sure I felt comfortable!! He was so patient with me gave me so many pointers on how to pose and what looks great on camera. While shooting they played my favorite songs to get me into the mood. In between takes he would show me my pictures and give me feedback on them. He has so many backgrounds and props as well. Let me start off with saying, i'm NOT a model... but Giovanni really did make me feel like one! I went to Giovanni for a modeling event that the lovely Niara put on & let me tell you I truly felt like a model. Giovanni has a cute little studio in Braintree MA which was easy to get to, with parking a short walking distance away. I got there and they both kindly greeted me at the door. Giovanni taught me things about positions and face expressions that i didn't even know of which during the event was super helpful. During the event, i was super nervous and honestly ready to run for the hills but they both made me so comfortable and ready to rock the pictures. We just had our 60th birthday party here and the experience is definitely a five stars. Without a doubt I would do it again so I recommend this place to anyone that is looking for that five star treatment from beginning to end. My mom and I had my sister's baby shower here and the experience was amazing! The owner, Giovanni, was professional and very helpful with any and everything we needed.
