I highly recommend people to get donuts and coffee from Frappe Joe's rather than Dunkin or Starbucks down the road. First of all, the baked goods are made fresh daily at Joe's rather than shipped in from a factory. You can taste the difference. Second, I've had way more positive customer service experiences at Joe's than the other two places combined. Third, they also have salads, wraps, and pitas. Try the falafel. When I ordered it, I got it in a wrap with greens, cucumbers, and tahini. I thought it great. The falafel had good spices and a crispy outside. It looked small, but I found it to be very filling. And it wasn't sloppy. I hate when you're eating a wrap and it disintegrates through your fingers. This held up well, even when I started eating it 15 mins later, so whoever crafted it knew what they were doing. I also think the price was good for what I got in return. The coffee is still great too. I wish more people would consider the quality and care that small businesses put into everything they do in order to compete with the corporate coffee shops. If they did, they'd realize how much better it all is at Frappe Joe's. And don't forget to tip, folks, since the customer service deserves it.

I would rather leave no stars. This morning I went to Amboy Bagels, and I have been turned away from this establishment for the rudeness and ignorance of employees. Customers should not have to wait 10 minutes to get bagels when they are not putting spread or food on it. Perhaps if you had someone at a cashier it would be beneficial. Let us face it this store has no organization. As for your employee who was rude and ignorant who said we are not fast food you can go to McDonald's. He should be thankful for the people who deal with this store. His behavior and demeanor are poor and should not be working with the public People who want bagels with friendly service there are other places to go 1. Liberty bagels in Fords NJ 3-5 minutes away. 2. Manhattan bagels in Edison NJ 2 minutes away 3. La bagel Edison NJ 7 minutes away If there is an award for lousy ignorant service, you deserve it. I was so glad to witness the scene because I waited for that person to leave to tell the, how right they were and how stupid this establishment look. Remember the CUSTOMER is always right. We are what keeps you in business. read more

As someone visiting from Sweden and having tried many types of bagels over the years, I can confidently say that Amboy Bagel stands out as one of the best! The freshness of the food is simply unmatched - every bite tasted incredibly fresh and flavorful. The quality of the ingredients is top-notch, and you can really tell that everything is made with care. The bagels were perfectly baked, with the right texture and taste that made them absolutely delicious. I've honestly never had food this fresh and tasty before - it was a true delight. What made the experience even better was the service. The staff were so kind, welcoming, and genuinely adorable. They made me feel right at home, and their friendliness added to the charm of the place. If you're anywhere nearby, you absolutely must visit Amboy Bagel. I strongly recommend this restaurant - it's a wonderful place with amazing food and even better people. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town! read more
