Went there twice - loved the atmosphere. The Calamansi (type of citrus) juice is a must for me! I…read morehad it 4 times total (I know.. it's a lot). Also an absolute must and my #1 dish recently - the eggplant curry. If you're a protein bro and resistant to get get vege dishes - trust me you still want this one. Just get some extra wings (which are bangers too). I like the idea of the fried fish but as a seafood snob it was average (usually I hate in seafood). The noodles (one with the bean) was excellent. I tried also two desserts with Ube - flan and crème brûlée. Both so good but brûlée was the winner for me. Service is good - just a bit busy so you'll have to make a reservation most likely for a high demand time and expect rushing waiters.

So you need to be diligent in the first place to get a reservation and after arriving, I realized why because the place was completely packed even for an early scheduled dinner. It is located in a huge strip mall with a bunch of other restaurants and a lot of shared parking, but it gets full so you have to get lucky to find a spot and luckily parking is free While the website says they welcome walk-ins I can tell you now that on the weekend for dinner dinners good luck This was our first time here and we ordered quite a few items as you can tell from the photos. While the food is good, I will tell you that it is unique while still authentic for example, the crispy Palabok pancit is quite trendy. The lumpia Shanghai was good and you could actually taste the pork. The dessert of the flan combined cake was also good and not overly sweet. The chicken adobo was a bit on the salty side. And frankly, I thought there would be more chicken. The pork barbecue skewers were good, but not sweet and usually Filipino barbecue is supposed to be more on the sweeter side. The Halo halo was unique in the sense that it had some odd fixings on it such as marshmallows and candy that are not part of a special let alone traditional version of this. It also was missing quite a few ingredients that are what I would deem required. For example, no jackfruit and no sweet beans. I have to say, though this place definitely does justice to the Filipino culture and Filipino cuisine overall it is still a great strong restaurant that I would recommend you go to and check out. I have no other comparisons for the area, but this was definitely well worth the visit. The decor is absolutely incredible as well. Truly authentic and pays good homage to the culture and country. Congratulations to these owners and cooks for all that they have accomplished and so happy to be able to patronize Filipino owners. If I'm back in the area, definitely would come back here and try other dishes and I hope that it is all just as delicious as this meal.

Our waitress was super friendly, and since it was our first time, she took her time explaining the menu and answering our questions, which we really appreciated. The food was excellent across the board. Everything we ordered was flavorful, and even the sides stood out. I highly recommend the yams and the mac and cheese, both were good. We started with the gumbo, which was tasty and for our mains we had the oxtail and fish. Both were cooked well and full of flavor. The ambiance was another highlight. The vibe was relaxed and cool, with good R&B music playing in the background. This made the whole experience feel enjoyable and laid-back. One thing to note: parking is mandatory valet, but it's tip-based only. Overall, Roc South Cuisine is a great spot with great food, great service, and a solid vibe. Definitely worth checking out.

This was a bit disheartening due to the fact that several of them made complaints during the duration of our wait about how long they were waiting for their food. We were seated after about two minutes of waiting. The hostess + our waitress were both very kind and accommodating being that we had a toddler in our party. The restaurant was mostly empty, but it took more than a while for food and drinks to come out. However when the food did arrive at the table, it was well seasoned, very fresh and the portions were a decent size. I can see this Restaurant being a good pie for girls night out, we didn't order any alcoholic drinks so I can't speak to that but it's the same aesthetic as most Atlanta restaurants. Blue velvet, grass wall and chandelier vibes. Since we went on a weekday at an early time, we didn't have to pay for parking but be mindful that I'm busier day/night there might be a parking fee

We parked next door at the gas station and walked to the park. There was no parking fee or entrance fee. When I'm talking line, I'm talking L-I-N-E!!!! As we were waiting, we ended up getting a spiked lemonade from one of the vendors and it wasn't spiked much. Atlanta is better off for having food trucks (and this park, specifically). Despite the cloudy, on-and-off drizzly weather, the park had a good turnout of patrons between 7-9pm on a Thursday night. Thanks to those who braved the elements for our UYE (http://www.yelp.com/events/atlanta-atlanta-food-truck-park-uye). The food truck/food stand lineup was pretty good: Sweet Auburn BBQ Corn-a-Cue One Love Jerk Grill Metro City Dogs Lemonade Stand WOW! Food Truck Ibiza Bites Chay J's New Orleans Candies Rouxd Food Truck King of Pops Yum Yum Cupcake Verizon also had a stand. I've been following the park's official calendar (http://www.atlantafoodtruckpark.com/calendar/) over the past month and noticed Thursday nights are the ideal weeknight (excluding Fridays) to go for the most trucks and the best selection. I suspect there might have been more trucks last night if it wasn't for the weather. I ended up trying a little bit of everything: Arepas (Venezuelan sliders) from WOW! Food Truck Beef brisket with Asian pear slaw taco from Sweet Auburn BBQ Goat cheese-stuffed fried green tomatoes from Ibiza Bites Creole pretzels and Creole popcorn from Chay J's I'll be posting reviews for each of those trucks in the next few days. If you come for dinner, I recommend coming on the early side as the food trucks only have a limited supply of items and do sell out. This leads some trucks to close early. I saw many menus with marked off items that had sold out for the day. Yum Yum Cupcakes shut down early because they sold out of their cupcakes for the day. I was pleasantly surprised to see how much seating the park had. I counted 16 large picnic tables in the main "dining" area, most with umbrellas. Each picnic table can seat up to about 8 people each. The picnic tables are located on a flat, paved surface. The food trucks are located in a large gravel lot. This lot has 4 communal standing tables and 2 additional picnic tables. So overall, this spot has quite a bit of seating, which is convenient. Also, plenty of trash cans and recycling bins to keep the grounds looking relatively clean. The park is family and dog-friendly. It can be a little loud because you're around all these big trucks and next to busy Howell Mill Rd. You can BYOB, so save money by bringing your own drinks. If you want water, I saw some trucks selling it for $1 per bottle. There is one restroom and it's a "Johnny on the Spot" porta-potty in the parking lot with portable sink outside so you can wash your hands. There is ample free parking behind the park. Turn onto Emery St, next to the Shell Station on Howell Mill, to find it. If you need more detailed directions, check out the park's FAQ here: http://www.atlantafoodtruckpark.com/faqs/. The parking lot is old and filled with pot holes, so drive carefully. I saw someone puncture their car's tire by running over a broken-off metal sign post on the ground (she was trying to make too tight of a turn around the dining area). Note that every Wednesday and Friday night throughout the summer, the park will be playing movies for free. Also, from time to time, there is live music. On the weekends, there's a food market with rotating vendors and an artists market coming soon. Overall, I'm very happy with the Atlanta Food Truck Park and definitely plan on returning.

I personally didn't think it cost that much and plus the $10 entrance fee will be credit to any makeup you choose to purchase afterwards. I made reservations for 3 online to make sure we get the first slot available on a Saturday morning. I know the malls open at 8 am but not necessarily the stores. Unfortunately for us, there was another group that tagged along with us for our "tour." Now, usually I wouldn't care as much but we had one extra person and the same amount of time to take photos. I felt we should have gotten extra time to do so for that reason. Each group had like one minute to take pics in their group. Sucks for us, we had an extra person. Because of that, I didn't take my phone out and got my friend to use her phone and for her to just send to me. Each room had a theme and a WinkyLux product it represents. I was sadden that most products were sold out. Plus you are only able to use the $10 credit after going to the rooms. Even though a lot of the products were sold out, I was happy with what I got. I did have fun with girlfriends and took photos. 119/2018

So, first of all, there is an entrance fee to pay when you want to go to the photogenic experience rooms. Its 10$ plus tax but well worth if you actually plan to buy any of their products since they give it back at the end to go towards your purchase. The experience - fun! Especially if you love taking photos because they have rooms set up just for that purpose! Each room features a product of winkylux and the decorations represent what the product is like. Sadly, alot of items were sold out but we were still allowed to sample them. Personally, Ive been to the Museum of Ice Cream and honestly this setup is pretty dissapointing and alittle run down compared to it, especially since they were apparently inspired by the moic concept. The lighting was meh, and they could have tried better in most of the rooms. Also, you have to constantly put your bags and coats on the floor since they didnt have a place to put your things to take a picture. The products - cant complain! I mean, nothing to rave over but considering theyre a more "economical luxury line" it wasn't half bad as in, their shadows were very pigmented and their lippy sticks were good tints! Still, it was pretty pricy. I ended up purchasing their signature ph flower balm and it was 14$ (i paid an extra 4 dollars with the 10$ credit). This only sounds reasonable if the lipstick was alittle bigger, its no bigger than a normal person's thumb. Its really tiny. The eyeshadow paletts were 25$ and single shadows were 12$. I didnt bother checking the prices of other things. It was still a fun experience for me and my friend. Its only a popup shop so its worth going to to get some cute pics and cute cosmetics.

They brought their A game for sure!! what a great experience. This is a casual very open place with a plethora of chefs, each creating a specific dish that they will bring to you and you choose whether you want to eat it or not. The menu is written to where you just check off what you got and you go down the menu and each chef will bring out the dish they created, describe it in detail and then you choose whether you want to eat it or not. Unfortunately, my son and I could not refuse anything, but we did turn down one which I can't remember what it was but this place is fabulous! Yes, these are two bite samples, the taste, and the creativity is exquisite!! These chefs brought things to my pallet that I cannot reverse engineer, and I saved every morsel they brought to the table. Literally ordering nearly everything on the menu, from custom drinks, made tableside to each entrée appetizer or dessert, sample dish, each one presented by the chef who created it this is what foodies live for. If you're going there to get filled up on hamburgers and chicken fingers, please don't go.!!! It's not for you. Especially if you spend four to $500.!! From the hostess Gabby, who was fantastic and extremely knowledgeable to begin the plethora of chefs each behind every dish that they passionately created and tried to sell it to you at the table, so you will check it off on the menu, I love the passion within the chefs minds and the creativity they came up with the dish We were actually too full when we left so those who say they had to go to McDonald's or something after they left because they didn't get enough and they don't understand these savory morsels that are coming out of the tiny kitchen, they only ordered three things because they didn't want to spend the money. This place is for those who enjoy excellent flavors creativity gastronomy, lemon foam to sauces that are unbelievably savory and delectable. I will post all my pictures if I can remember the names of all the dishes, but the menu changes weekly so it's not like you come one week and go back the next week for the same thing. This is an experience, an adventure, a step in time for a culinary experience, unlike others. It's not a fancy place so you can dress casual they don't care, The crafted cocktails were absolutely delicious, I can't tell you how much we enjoyed this experience. Yes it's expensive. But it is definitely worth it. Highly recommend.!!!!
