Hey guys! So I came here for my friends birthday. The ambiance Was really pretty. They did put in time to make it spectacular for Valentine's Day. Starting with the service it was pretty good, we went on a Friday night And I wasn't that busy so that was great, Because I heard it gets really packed and turns into a club. There was a DJ so music all night. The also sell bottles and they have bottle girls. Hookah service is also provided. This is 21+ so make sure to bring your ID. Next the food...... Starting with the salmon it looked a lot better than it taste. The presentation of every order was really fancy. The salmon was just really oily but the mashed potatoes Was that a perfect texture just The perfect amount of flavor and Asparagus 10/10 Then the cheesesteak Philly, The presentation was really nice. I would say The flavor wasn't enough it was also really plain to me. I'd give it a 6.5 out of 10 The macaroni and cheese looked like pasta, it did taste good but just different than regular mac & cheese it wasn't baked Then the actual pasta we got was so salty I literally didn't even want to get to go. I took one bite and there was no way I could eat the rest of it! Then the jerk lamb chops that was the best on the menu! The consistency wasn't too tough the flavor was on point. The experience was one big eye roll from the moment we got into the lot. The parking lot does not really exist. There are just a couple spaces that would have typically been for the businesses in the plaza. Parking attendants tried to charge us $40. I called the restaurant when I got there to clarify.. They said it should be $20, and valet should be offered. I let the attendant know and he responded they're only offering self park. (Eyeroll) Then says "oh ok I'll give you that spot for $20 then" (Eyeroll) - Why did I have to check behind them? I should've stopped right there. Once we spent 30mins figuring out parking. Remember when I'd called the restaurant? I had asked about when the kitchen closed and if they had dessert. (we were just trying to get drinks and dessert, late night for a friends bday) They said kitchen closed at 2:30am and yes to dessert. This is what made us push past the hassle of parking. We went through security... When explaining the seating process to my friend, we mentioned we just want drinks and dessert, no hookah or food etc. She says no desserts are available tonight..... WHAT?!! I'd called less than 20 mins ago FROM THE PARKING LOT, and was told there was dessert.. What changed?! So basically this place is listed incorrectly, it's just a lounge. Expect nothing more than that and you might be fine. We were pissed to have spent to much time there that we missed the window to go to Blind Pig Parlor instead! This place is exquisite. From the atmosphere to the service to the food, drinks and hookahs. Everything was on point. We absolutely loved everything we ordered. It was all fresh and seasoned to perfection JESUS. Worth every dime! Please get the jerk lamb lollipops, asparagus garlic mashed potato and lemon drop. This is my new favorite spot. This place is definitely a good vibe but definitely over priced in all aspects, walked in there were 2 people inside sat at a table and no one came over, then we noticed a whole birthday party entourage coming in, they definitely laid out the red carpet for them, we finally got a server and ordered the $21 Georgia peach Hennessy, I will say it was very good but $21 worth, not so much. Next we orders the $27 Shrimp Large plate, it came with 6 shrimp and fries, it was good but 6 shrimp, I can get more at Papadeaux with my money, I also ordered the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls, amazing as well, overall bill came to $77 each, split between two people, $25 in Gratuity, why it's 20 percent I don't know because the service is hit or miss, I decided to order another Peach Hennessy but was told the bar was backed up, with less that 20 people in there and the servers at the bar on their phone and dancing I don't know how so I canceled that and got a water, didn't know the water was $5, well when we got the bill there were 3 drinks on it, told them it was incorrect and was told that they would credit it back when they cashed out for the night.... Not sure where they do this but we will see if I get my $21 back..... overall the food was good but overpriced. read more

This was the highlight of my trip to ATL. My cousins and I decided to go out and decided on this spot. We got in and where seated at our table and got two hookah pipes. The service was great and it got even better once the DJ started playing some of our request. If you plan to go, be prepared to ball out. read more

It was empty, but the service, food & drinks were all great! I really enjoyed myself. Definitely coming back. The parking lot is small and they charged $20 to park. Entry was free. Coming in, there were plenty of available seats. We decided to sit at the bar instead of a table. A server came and took our drink and food order immediately while the Bartender was in the back. Once the bartender returned she continued to check on us as we sat at her bar. They have an assortment of sweets available as well. All of them looked amazing. read more

This is a great date night hide away. Vinny Watson and sister did an amazing job on repurposeing this place. I am not surprised, he is well known for his top fashions and home designing. This is a sexy place. The lighting sets a tone of a motionlist atmosphere. Music has a great feel that makes you want to dance for everyone. I tried the salmon, wings, cheese steak toco's and mini steak burgers. Flavors were on points. Didn't have room for the sweets but they looked amazing. Going back for that... Buckhead best kept secret... Vinny is a great host. Friendly and positive vibes. My new go to place. read more

We hosted our companies first major event here. I wish I had some food pictures but as the hostess I didn't have much time on my hands. That being said every nibble I got brought me back to LIFE! The crab balls, wings, salmon sliders and chicken and waffles were absolutely delicious. My Amaretto sour was made perfectly and the staff were very polite and welcoming. They made sure to take care of our team as well as all our guests. The event space was also nicely decorated and we were able to have a 360 machine, an area to sell our merch, a wall for photo opportunities, a screen to project our show on it just really worked out wonderfully. Now with it being our first business event I can't say it went hiccup free, because then this wouldn't be an honest review. I expected to encounter some obstacles as with any event because though this is my first business event it wasn't my first time having an event at all. One of our disappointments were that we asked that the ladies working be a little more covered up since this was a business event. When we arrived they were not. It was bothersome because again this was for a business networking event. My husband shared our concerns just thinking it would be too late. Shortly after I noticed all the young ladies in black dresses so I thought they just had some clothes there and changed. After getting a chance to talk to the owner Vinny is when I realized he went out and bought them all dresses so they could change. I was super impressed! He literally went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and taken care of. Even after hearing my husband hadn't eaten anything he made sure to pack him up some food to go as well as some cupcakes for myself, and my daughters who also helped work the event. After reading more about the owner, I'm just so impressed by this hidden gem! We were shocked to see how big the back was. The vibe is so elegant, upbeat and enchanting. Everyone working there is so nice and welcoming. We were looking for a dessert place with drinks. This place was so much more then I thought. The dessert was so delicious we got a second piece of dulce de Leche cheese cake to take home and the drinks were fun and beautiful they made me feel like I was on vacation. We were finishing our night celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary. This was the perfect place to end our evening! read more

I'm good at remembering names. The hosts, Tiffany, greeted us with a smile as soon as we walked in the door. After a few minutes she walked my four friends and I to our table, we were already captivated by the delicious smells. environment environment was upscale, posh, and uplifting. Surprisingly, the prices were very reasonable! I ordered their signature martini and my friends ordered all different drinks. (No complaints there!) The presentation was as lovely as it tasted! For good I ordered the 3 layer grilled cheese served with a warm tomato bisque soup. For dessert I had the banana crunch pudding cake!! Soooo freaking good! The bathrooms were big and handicap accessible for my boyfriend, so that was a plus! The only suggestion I would add would be come early. We had to wait 15mins to actually reach our seats. Ever went to a lounge/bar and pay $600 for a table for two just to be told 2 hours later you have to leave? Whelp this is the place! After coming here for my significant other's birthday, I had the worse experience ever. I was approached at my table by a man who claims to be the owner, had a nappy afro and dirty Yeezy's on his feet. This man seemed to be the owner of the parking lot and owner of the club, telling us "y'all have to go," "y'all have to leave." No explanation. Granted I was the only one who paid for a table that night, (Saturday, Halloween weekend). I then told the so called owner I'm not going anywhere this table was paid for along with plenty cold food I was then approached by woman who was an owner as well, telling us we have to move to another table, there's a two hour min per table that I wasn't aware of. Ok say this is so, this was not mentioned when 1st purchased nor was there anybody in this club. It was Dry!!!! I was then told if you purchase another bottle you can stay. So I then realized they wanted me to keep purchasing $500 bottles to keep my seat because clearly I was the only one buying bottles that night. What a raggedy, unprofessional tactic. I will never go bk to this place everrrr!!!! It doesn't get more unprofessional then this!!!! Beware you all, the lounge next door trumps this place. read more

I would give literally ZEROOO STARS if I could. So when we got there they told us we had to buy a bottle to sit at a table, ok cool, that's how most places in Atlanta are so it was really no problem at all... So I payed $530 for a bottle of Bellaire because it was literally only 2 of us.. then we bought a hookah & wings, we would've got a lot more food because that's really the only reason we were there but they were only serving wings at the time... Then shortly after they put a table of like 10 people next to us who didn't get anything, not a bottle not a hookah not some food LITERALLY NOTHING. (Which wouldn't be a big deal but stay tuned so u can see why it is)... they gave our hookah to somebody else so we had to wait super long for our hookah, we never got our food we payed for, then not even an hour after us being there they came and told us they sold our table to somebody else & we had to move to the bar.. So I asked them "what was the point of us paying over $600 just for y'all to move us to the bar where we could've just been in the first place?" She ignored my question everybody started getting rowdy & one girl that worked there got all in my face like she wanted fight all because I asked a simple very VALID question?? Then the girl that tried to move us told me I was "pissing her off" & I said "you're saying your pissed off like you wasted your money?" Then they took our bottle, they took our hookah we still never got our food.. Security came and said he was going to move us to the other side.. Mind you we never got loud or rowdy or called them out there name or anything.. The owner came and charged us up like "why were u just talking to my sister like that" I said "i wasn't talking to her like nothing, I asked her a question.. what was the point of telling us to buy a bottle for a table if y'all were going to kick us out maybe 45 minutes later?" He said "YOU ONLY BOUGHT ONE BOTTLE" I said "we're literally only 2 girls like how many bottles did you want us to buy? Y'all said buy a bottle for a table and we did & next thing you know someones in our face trying to fight" then he kicked us out we never got our food we didn't even finish half the bottle that they took from us that we paid $530 for we had to beg for our hookah... after we left they text my friend like "it was a misunderstanding we apologize you never put your hands on us or got in our face, come back" The whole situation was literally sooooo embarrassing. It was ghetto & it was soooo unprofessional. When I asked "what was the point?" the first time if she would've just been honest & said "these are our friends and we don't have enough tables for everybody" or "they're buying more bottles than y'all" I would've respected the situation alot more even though it would've still been wrong, but them getting in our face trying to fight causing a scene, taking our bottle, taking our hookah from us, embarrassing us was just soooo tacky & sooo ghetto & soooo unprofessional read more

This place is amazing!!! We went to the lounge next door and at 6:50 they told us about the upcharge that was put in place at 7:00pm. We were unaware until we finally was able to be seated which was about 20 minutes later. We decided to leave. We came to Sovereign Sweets and OMG..I'm so glad we decided to come here. KD and Danni were the best ever. Being a mom and pops that never really have the time to relax and enjoy ourselves we REALLY HAVE enjoyed ourselves. They're the best!!!
