She listened carefully to what I wanted and double checked before cutting which was reassuring. Linda has cut my fringe here and she also did a great job. Both ladies seem to know everyone who comes in - and it is a busy salon as there wasn't a gap for two days when I called for an appointment. They also seem to be a favourite in the area to cut children's hair but don't worry if you have come here to relax - there is a firm notice on the door stating that children must be quiet and under control! It is certainly relaxing here, they keep the local radio on low. Aside from the hairdressers you can also get a massage and waxing of various hairy bits done here. The back rooms are split up into little modules for each of the treatments. Prices for haircuts are very good - I paid £16 for a wet cut and £2 for a quick fringe trim.

I booked my facial two weeks ago on the phone and was not asked for a card during booking. I got a call at 7:30 pm the day before my appointment and was asked for my card to confirm the appointment. I was walking my dog and didn't have my card. I was told I needed to go online and upload a card to their website before midnight in order to confirm my appointment. I did that. When I showed up the next day for my appointment, I was told it had been cancelled because I failed to upload a card. When I showed on my phone that I had uploaded a card, I was told they don't accept Amex and that my card wasn't accepted by the system and thus my appointment was cancelled. They apparently tried to call me that morning once but didn't leave a message. The person who did the facials didn't come in that day because i was their only appointment. It was very disappointing. That being said, the woman who was there was apologetic and offered to rebook me with a discount or do my nails. I ended up getting a pedicure from her that I thought was very good. She was friendly and did a great job with my pedicure!

The staff are your usual very calm and collected young girls who make your eyelids droop just by talking to them, therefore if its relaxation you're after, it's relaxation you're going to get! I was very impressed with the back massage I had, but as it was a present one Valentine's Day, I don't think I could afford to do this on a regular basis. I am yet to try any of their other treatments, but just by going on the Valentine's Day special I had, I would definitely recommend them.
