Then I went for a restyle with the master stylist and came away an hour and a half later with barely any style at all. For at least half of the time in the hair salon I was waiting around and, though I was given a magazine and some water, the salon was not very busy at all to be sharing a stylist. Overall the treatments cost nearly £20 more than what was quoted to my partner when he had bought the vouchers for me, meaning I had to pay extra for my own birthday present! The worst was the handling of the situation. When I emailed to ask for my personal details to be removed, I hilighted the above as my reasoning and received a phone call from the manager, who happened to be my stylist. She accepted the wax was not good enough and offered for me to come and get them redone, but was so adamant that there was nothing wrong with the service she provided she spent the majority of the phone call being defensive and repeating the same points again and again despite my response. She didn't even comment on the misquoted price. My partner and I forked out three figures for a basic haircut and dodgy wax jobs. By the end of the long phone call, I felt so bullied down that I just didn't want to argue anymore. There's no way I could return with all the bad feeling left now.
