I had the worst experience I've ever had in a nail salon in Bellisiomo Artistry in Bath. I get my…read morenails done with shellac frequently and have done for years, I like to do it as a little self care treat, so I look presentable for work & in my usual salon I like to have a laugh with the technician & enjoy choosing colours etc... It was a horrible disappointment to be treated so rudely in Bellissimo, I didn't enjoy the experience at all, I left feeling quite upset, the salon was completely empty but the woman rushed with such haste she was obviously trying to get rid of me as quickly as possible whilst punishing me with not even passive aggressive, just plain aggressive behaviour, for daring to darken her doorway & ask for a manicure. Don't be fooled by the plush looking salon, the service was disgusting, she barked at me the whole time to relax my hand, while roughly manhandling my fingers & pulling me around, I have never have never experience this before in a nail salon, if my hand was tense which IT WAS NOT, why would speaking at me in an aggressive way help it to relax? It was baffling & very rude. she didn't allow me enough time to choose colours, she filed my nails in a way which hurt my fingers! & left me with little painful tags at the side of my nails which still hurt 3 days later, she was rushing my hands in & out of the light boxes so quickly the polish kept on smudging which she told ME off for like I was a naughty little girl (I'm 36) & it was HER fault, she didn't offer to re-do it, the nails look so patchy & poor with bits missing & bits that are matt instead of shiney, but I couldn't bare to make her re-do it because I wanted to get out of that toxic environment as quickly as I could! I was enjoying my day before I went in there. I didn't have enough cash, she of course wouldn't take my card, so when I went to the cash point 2mins round the corner she followed me to the machine & watched me draw the money out! Just to emphasise her absolute lack of trust in me... I will NEVER get my nails done there again. It felt abusive, the total opposite of what I went in there for, no wonder it was empty, please don't waste your time & money & your precious good mood on this nasty establishment.

I scheduled a wedding hair trial appointment months in…read moreadvance and made a trip to Bath from the USA especially for this appointment/overall wedding prep. when i arrived at russell brooks, there was no record of my appointment. the woman I was emailing with (multiple times, who confirmed my appointment, who i believe is the salon manager) never relayed the information to the wedding hair stylist. planning a wedding from another country is difficult, and this salon made it even more difficult. the staff working when i arrived for my appointment, who knew nothing about it, were very kind and tried to help as much as they could- so for this I am thankful this salon is unreliable - please treat your clients with more respect and have more courtesy for their time moving forward.
