The staff were very friendly and i ended up having my hair cut right then! I was unsure what i wanted and the lady talked me through all the different things she could do, when she'd finished i was over the moon with my new hair style! The price was reasonable and I didn't feel ripped off at all, i've paid a lot more in the past and ended up wanting to stick a bag over my head until it grew out! When my hair needs a trim i'll definitely go back again.

She listened carefully to what I wanted and double checked before cutting which was reassuring. Linda has cut my fringe here and she also did a great job. Both ladies seem to know everyone who comes in - and it is a busy salon as there wasn't a gap for two days when I called for an appointment. They also seem to be a favourite in the area to cut children's hair but don't worry if you have come here to relax - there is a firm notice on the door stating that children must be quiet and under control! It is certainly relaxing here, they keep the local radio on low. Aside from the hairdressers you can also get a massage and waxing of various hairy bits done here. The back rooms are split up into little modules for each of the treatments. Prices for haircuts are very good - I paid £16 for a wet cut and £2 for a quick fringe trim.

They stock and use Tigi products so you will go home smelling soooo good. I believe its a tactic to placate your boyfriend for taking so long/spending so much money on your hair because he'll just be smelling your hair the whole night and forget. Not that this is expensive - about average at £25-30 for full cut and blow dry. I hate hairdryers and they remember that every time so I just have a wet cut which is a bit cheaper. Only complaint is the R&B soundtrack, but I guess that's for par for the course in most hairdressers these days... Find this hairdressers at the top of the high street just before Straits Parade.

I had also paid 15 quid for the hair extensions as a deposit but never went back to have them fitted as A. i had to have all my hair cut off and B. I was disgusted with the service.

I'm told it's a hair salon and judging by a few chairs and mirrors it is. But then there's a lot of staff apparently on sale. I mean, a lot of stuff - to a charity shop standard. And this is basically the vibe of the store, a hair salon come charity shop. It's kind of cool and I dig it, but very random. So the next time you're thinking to yourself "I need a new style but also some pre-loved crockery from the nineties" you know where to come.

Moda is a pretty small salon, with only around five hair dressing seats - and like most hairdressers definitely book ahead, they get quite busy. They don't let trainees cut your hair here either which is reassuring - the lowest qualified stylist is a graduate stylist, which is the level of the girl who cut my hair. In terms of pricing Moda is on the more expensive range - but then in my opinion it was worth it for the confidence I could put in them; I paid around £80 for my half head of highlights and a cut and restyle. I would recommend Moda to anyone who is looking for a good and reliable salon in Bristol, they are great and also offer you refreshments!

You can't help but feel at ease as soon as you enter this light and airy salon. Nothing is too much trouble. Nice music in the background to while away the time. Really good products used on my hair......shampoo, conditioner, colour, serum and hair spray. Afterwards my hair smells delicious and is left nice and shiny. Whoever you book in with really listens to how you want your hair done and the cut is accomplished very professionally. Having my hair done is a wonderful relaxing experience and afterwards I always feel like a million dollars!! Following Covid19 the owner has installed lots of see through screens in between the salon chairs, also over the chairs at the sinks. Although fairly new they've built up a good regular client pool. I work just round the corner so I can pop there in my lunch break which is great!
