I made an appointment for a free consultation regarding my hair as it has suffered from being over-processed recently. A member of staff welcomed me, told me where to sit and asked if I'd like a drink. I received a nice cuppa and two biscuits! Carole was on time and took a lot of time to listen to my concerns along with what I wanted to achieve longer-term. She shared her ideas with me and then wrote down the way forward, including prices. As Carole stressed to me Em2 is not the cheapest salon but I believe it could well be a case of you get what you pay for! The quality of the work going on in the salon at the time of my appointment looked good and I liked the overall feel of the place. Emma also took time to talk with me which I appreciated. I've booked a cut and blow dry as Carole suggested to get to know them better and try out their work for myself. I'm looking forward to the appointment and hoping that I will be pleased with the result! I thoroughly enjoyed my first cut and finish appointment with Carole. I had a fabulous conditioning treatment with a wonderful head massage. Carole did her utmost to ensure I was comfortable thoughout at the basin and it's attention to detail like this that I really appreciate. My cut is fabulous and my hair is now even in length.it was 1 1/2 inches out on one side! After only this short time I fully trust Carole with my hair and if she was ever unavailable when I need an appointment I would be more than happy to see Em so it's a complete win-win situation for me! It's evident that all the staff have high standards and there's a great atmosphere in the salon, somewhere you can really relax. My next appointment is booked in and I can't wait to see what wonders Carole can work on my colour. Firstly it should be known that I am a complete haircutphobic and I have always hated visiting salons, I've never been to the same salon more than once or twice and I put off getting my hair cut for as long as possible. I have very thick, long wavy hair that I've been dying since I was 15 so as a result it isn't in the best condition. I work in Worle High st and regularly see the Em2 team in passing and had noticed what a warm and friendly bunch they seem to be so I decided to bite the bullet and book myself in for a much needed restyle. As soon as I stepped through the door I was immediately put at ease, I can't express how lovely the staff are. They clearly work very hard to create a welcoming, relaxed and fun atmosphere. My stylist, Em, was incredibly attentive and listened to everything I had to say, I really felt that she understood what I'm all about! She gave me so much advice and it is obvious how much experience and knowledge she has. I was given samples of suitable products for my hair type to take home and try (something I have never experienced in any other salon) and Em talked me through how she proposed to handle the future care of my hair. Being new to Weston, I did not know where to go for a haircut. I am very particular due to having thick, coarse and hard to handle hair! After visiting a couple of salons in the area and not wanting to return, I decided on EM2. When you arrive at this salon, you are made to feel extremely welcome with no falseness at all, they are all genuinely nice. I was booked with Emma who took the time to listen intently to what I wanted and all about my problematic hair. She spent time and energy in order to reach an excellent end result. I went on a hunt for a hairdressers a while ago where i live. I was sure i wanted to play with colours and be a bit different and push the boat out, but none of the salons i went to want to know! (to my suprise!) I contacted em2 and would never now change my hair dressers. em2 wanted to listen to what i wanted even enjoyed the challenge of something different. I have been a client at EM2 since they first opened and would never consider going to another hairdresser. I have very fine hair and, until I found Emma, I never seemed to find a stylist that could cope with it. I now receive compliments on my hair and people ask where I had it done! All the staff, without exception, are genuinely friendly and welcoming. They make you feel like a friend and not a customer. Nothing is too much trouble for them and each time I visit, I know that I will be happy with my hair and that I will be able to recreate the style perfectly every day. I have never managed to stay with a hairdresser for long, due to their not listening to my requirements. The first time I walked in EM2 I looked a mess my day off from work!! Everything about this salon is highly professional and it could not be more friendly. Em listens so carefully and gives thought to what will suit you and your hair type. Today was my first visit to Em2 and I have to say that I was extremely impressed. All of the staff are lovely and the salon has a warm and friendly atmosphere. Emma did my hair and was very helpful as I had had a bad hair cut in the past and my hair had never really recovered from it, Emma was wonderful, we discussed what I wanted from my hairstyle and she advised me how best to achieve it. I honestly recommend going to Em2 Hairdressers they made my hair from Black/Brown hair to Bright Blonde i couldn't believe what amazing condition it was and how perfect it looked. I was so impressed! I always enjoy going there, so far the furthest I have travelled to get to them for a haircut is from Coventry (whilst I was at uni) They are always friendly, funny and down to earth. Well this is the best hairdressers that I have ever found. I have very thick hair and they manage it really well. They make me look much younger by giving me the right cut,even though sometimes I think I want something different. They always give me good sound advice. Regularly go to this salon for my hair cut. I am really fussy about my hair and my stylist (Hazel) always really listens to what I am looking for and cuts my hair beautifully. I am always thrilled with the result. The stylists take the time to give you a head massage whilst shampooing, which is lovely. I would heartily recomend them! read more

Been going to Em2 for a number of years and have always enjoyed the visits as it's 'me time' and cannot fault the cut or service. But please lose the uniforms! You expect beauty therapists to wear uniforms due to the nature of their work but not hairdressers. Where is the individuality? it is affecting the atmosphere. read more

Whether you go in for a hair cut or some beauty treatment, the service is personel, friendly and all the staff put you first.
