Whoever you book in with really listens to how you want your hair done and the cut is accomplished very professionally. Following Covid19 the owner has installed lots of see through screens in between the salon chairs, also over the chairs at the sinks. They have toning tables to help you keep fit, and offer massages, facials, skin care, slimming products, spray tans, waxing, manicures, piercing, and the list goes on... pop along or check out their website for a full list of what's available. Their prices are also very reasonable, and would be cheaper than anywhere in the city centre making it worth popping along to Fishponds. If you are after an aerobics gym that's women only, instead of being surrounded by men, then its also a great option as they have classes and gym equipment on the upper floor that you can have access to. When sitting flush against the outside of my nose (where it should be) it touched the inside of my nose, and it's natural position is sticking out of my nose by a few centimetres, which looks ridiculous. It has also caused two separate infections, with a lot of puss and blood coming out of the piercing). I have tried to get a resolution from the manager with no luck whatsoever, I recommend avoiding this place of you want a decent job done with your piercing (as you'd expect from a professional service).

All the girls at Bodywise are sweet, friendly and easy to chat to when you're having your treatments. They will also do their best to accomodate you if you're in dire need of a tan/wax/tint. As if you needed any more convincing, at some point last September my best friend burst in with yeti legs and and an unruly bikini line and swears blind she had the quickest and least painful waxing of her life.

I booked my facial two weeks ago on the phone and was not asked for a card during booking. I got a call at 7:30 pm the day before my appointment and was asked for my card to confirm the appointment. I was walking my dog and didn't have my card. I was told I needed to go online and upload a card to their website before midnight in order to confirm my appointment. I did that. When I showed up the next day for my appointment, I was told it had been cancelled because I failed to upload a card. When I showed on my phone that I had uploaded a card, I was told they don't accept Amex and that my card wasn't accepted by the system and thus my appointment was cancelled. They apparently tried to call me that morning once but didn't leave a message. The person who did the facials didn't come in that day because i was their only appointment. It was very disappointing. That being said, the woman who was there was apologetic and offered to rebook me with a discount or do my nails. I ended up getting a pedicure from her that I thought was very good. She was friendly and did a great job with my pedicure!
