Do not go here! This Co has made me feel like my body isn't worthy of respect. I had a peice of lace that was scanned & traced onto my back for the shapes but they tattoos the pizalated scan rather than the lace it's self. They also added cross hatching that I said I didn't want. I now have a massive blob on my back, that looks nothing like the peice I took in. I've had it for 10years because they refused to do anything to help my situation, I do not trust anyone to fix it and will have a massive scar from it if its lazered as my skin is raised and scared. I went to the shop to talk to them about it and they took me into an empty room & the manager and the tattoist had a go at me. intimidated I left and haven't dared go anywhere to get it fixed and have had really bad image issues. I have spoken to a friend who managed tattoo parlers around the UK who was appalled. She said on the rare occasion this has happend they have payed for tattoo removal as it is the ethical thing to do! read more

I have always found Pierced Up to be a little intimidating. What with the black and silver exterior and the big skull posters in the windows. It put me off for ages, but eventually I was so desperate for a new belly bar that I had to venture inside. They actually had a good selection of designs and inside the staff are actually pretty friendly and very helpful. I was looking for a new belly bar and they had a good selection of designs at not a bad price. Prices weren't bad either, and the quality of the jewelery looks far better than the likes of Clare's Accessories. I've never been for an actual piercing but the girl in there didn't look like she was in too much pain! read more

Like with so many businesses you're not really going to be going in there unless you're looking for a tattoo, piercing or advice in either department. This is a shop where you really get the things you expect: a clean and shiny interior, for example, with comfortable sofas and chairs. One can also check out hundreds of different designs from posters and flipbooks on the walls or talk with the friendly staff about individual designs and needs. The two treatment room are clean and sterile with hygiene certificates, awards and a big comfortable chair - the tiny details taken care off to make even the most nervous of customers feel at ease. Literally the best! I have been to many piercing places in Bristol, mainly around broad mead. I went to another shop to get my cartilage done, and they put a bear in it saying it was easier to clean. My cartilage piercing always flared up and created a bubble which was not nice to look at. This happened for a year or so and I kept going back to the old place and they would charge me £10 and put a longer bar in it, which did not help. One visit to pierced up and the lady there (I cant remember her name, I think it was Ruby, but she is the main piercer and she is a dream!) took one look at it and put a ring in it. 2 months later it is fully healed, I can sleep on it and best of all, I went back to get the ring replaced with a smaller nicer ring I had and she did it for free! They will take out old rings and put new ones in for free, and any aftercare is normally free which is amazing and it shows they really do care about what they do! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone, having tried many piercing places in Bristol. Big up this place. read more

Pierced Up is one of these alternative looking punk style piercing shops, offering a lot of gothic and grungy designed accessories, piercing and bits and pieces. They also have a piercing service - as you could guess from the name - where you don't need an appointment you can just pop in and get what ever you want done (consent is needed if you are under 16 however). This place really isn't my kind of thing at all, and if I were to get a new piercing done I would go to a jewellers or beauty salon personally, however if the place doesn't fuss you then you might find they're a bit cheaper here. The shop is very dark and a bit intimidating in my eyes - but if you're young and into the punk or gothic trend then it might become your new favourite store! read more

Went there to get my nipples pierced a couple months ago and it was perfect--honestly the smoothest, easiest piercing experience I've ever had. I walked in on a Monday afternoon and only waited 2 minutes, then had a nice informative chat with Ruby to make sure I knew everything I needed to know. She was very professional and generally awesome. The piercing itself took 10 seconds and was way less painful than I'd imagined! Oh and it's not expensive--40 quid for both nipples and of course free aftercare, boo yah. Recommend 100% read more

I haven't actually had anything pierced or tattooed in this place myself, but I did visit with a female friend when she wanted to get her lip done. The guys running the place were all pretty sound chaps and they made sure they took good care of her whilst she had it done. The jewellery available isn't bad, but they didn't have much of a range of smaller sized hoops and such. Still, the actual piercing practices seemed to be decent, everything was very hygienic and my friend came out happy with her new piece of face wear. read more

Have had tattoo's done here which were great, however my tattooist has now left to work in Bath so I have no need to return, whilst I was there I over heard staff slagging off customers once they left the shop which i wasn't to impressed with!! I was passing recently and said I would treat my son to a new earring to have the piercer guy (who appeared from no where) ask me did he have it done with a gun or needle? After informing him by gun he proceed to say in front of my eight year old son that he could possibly have hepititis or HIV and that is why only professionals use needles LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Who the hell is he to say that in front of my boy for one who is now worried and asking what disease he has, plus I am not an idiot who would take my child to some back street place to get a piercing!! AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!! read more

Yes Pierced Up can seem a little intimidating on entry as you are not greeted with the usual type of Receptionist you would see at a High St salon etc. In my experience having had a few piercings done myself I was not phased by this and was dealt with professionally and the staff that I encountered were all very friendly. As one reviewer said the rooms used are very clean as well as all the equipment used. I have never had any problems with any of my piercings and would go back again as they are always happy to help even to change over an earring is never too much trouble.
