They also added cross hatching that I said I didn't want. I now have a massive blob on my back, that looks nothing like the peice I took in. I've had it for 10years because they refused to do anything to help my situation, I do not trust anyone to fix it and will have a massive scar from it if its lazered as my skin is raised and scared. I went to the shop to talk to them about it and they took me into an empty room & the manager and the tattoist had a go at me. intimidated I left and haven't dared go anywhere to get it fixed and have had really bad image issues. I have spoken to a friend who managed tattoo parlers around the UK who was appalled. She said on the rare occasion this has happend they have payed for tattoo removal as it is the ethical thing to do!

I went into Holey Skin, a bit nervous to enter this unchartered territory, and asked Doc Croc how much a tattoo of this design and size would cost. Looking back now, I know I wasn't in my right frame of mind and am glad I didn't go through with it. However, I know that if I really was serious about getting a tattoo then I would definitely come back here. The place was spotlessly clean and all the staff were happy to allay my fears and give me advice on the procedures.

I found the place to be very clean and professional. My tattoo took slightly longer than estimated and therefore I got the overtime needed to complete the piece for free. After the tattoo had healed I returned to the shop and had the touch up done and was shown straight through, no fuss. Like their business cards and their shop these boys are no-nonsense and to the point. They took over the shop in 1998 and have been working since to build up a good reputation. They're the archetypal tattoo-covered biker-looking guys you'd expect but sincere, honest and polite. Dr Bob runs the piercing side of things and from what I'm told it's a painless affair - both on your body and your wallet! Body art is a beautiful yet serious game. For a start its painted a cheerful yellow and the windows are covered with advertisements so you can't see the guys actually tattooing customers (shivers). Inside, staff are (as you'd expect) covered in tattoos, but actually really friendly and helpful.
