I was planning on splurging and getting the most expensive pedicure but turns out i got the cheapest and quickest. I timed it started at 1:58- 2:11 start to finish. Hardly got a massage or pumice stone scrub. After she finished she just left never to be seen till we paid. I sat there for about 20 min while my sisters were still getting their massages. Have to say I was a bit jealous. My nail tech ended up getting a not so good tip she should work on her customer service! Terrible! Never will be back

It did appear that they were understaffed, as we needed to do our appointments one after another, instead both at the same time, which worked out okay, but was unanticipated considering that we did specify that we had two people. My sister went first, and Kevin took care of her. He would not speak to us and was watching Roblox with his headphones on the whole time. When exfoliating her feet, he went too hard and her toe started bleeding (see pic). The painting part itself looks good, but it was smudged and she called him back over to touch it up. As per mine, I had a woman do mine around 30 minutes into the appointment when she was done with her client. I was excited because I had been watching her with her previous customer and she seemed so amicable. When she came over, I asked her if she was going to do the full exfoliation, cuticle cutting etc (because I had an ingrown toenail that was hurting me) and she started yelling at me that what I was asking her to do would be illegal and she was not permitted to do. Obviously, there was some miscommunication, but I did not appreciate being yelled at. Once she understood what I was asking, she settled down, and I tried to make conversation but she wouldn't talk to me which was overall awkward. I do like how mine turned out, but I did not enjoy how either of us were treated. We did get out in an hour which worked out, but overall, the customer service and communication aspects were incredibly lacking. We chose to go here because they were open on Sundays, but if you're looking in the area for a nail salon on another day, I feel that there are a variety of alternatives that are better. My sister's toe is starting to scab now, but we were concerned about it getting infected and we did need to use a bandaid afterwards. The one thing I will give them is that I changed my mind from a manicure to a pedicure when I came in and they did not care about it that.

After discussing at length what she thought went wrong, she made a plan to use different waxes and to have my hair length be right between 1/4"-1/2". When I went into the spa, I was apprehensive (and a bit annoyed by their parking situation - 1/3 of their parking lot was taken over by the construction being done next door), but Tricia warmly greeted me which put me at ease. She was hugely apologetic and made it a point to explain to me what she had changed about her procedures since reading my review. We went back and the underarm waxing was great. I never thought that I would refer to having hair pulled from a sensitive part of my body as "great", but Tricia was so gentle that I began to doze off while she worked. Afterwards, she carefully examined my skin to make the best after care plan. She noticed a small red patch (that I couldn't see even when I tried to look in the mirror for it) so put on a few soothing lotions. Afterwards, no redness, no skin tears, and even now two weeks later no ingrown hairs. The only reason that I couldn't give her 5* was because of her front desk staff. I had issues with misinformation from them the first time. When I called to try to understand what happened the first waxing, they were less than helpful. Then when I was coming in for the most recent waxing, I asked if they had any suggestions on where to park (due to 1/3 of their lot being taken over by construction) to have them tell me to look around and find a spot. While still on the phone with them a woman came to my car window, didn't introduce herself, and told me to park in the spots marked specifically for the pizza shop. It wasn't until I relayed this to the front desk staff that they informed me that it was the owner yelling at me. I would have no hesitation to go back to Tricia for any waxing services from here on out. ---- Today I had a bikini wax and underarm waxing done by Trish. I have received dozens of waxings before so felt like I knew what I was in for. When I called to schedule the appointment, I scheduled a Brazilian and underarm wax. I asked if there was anything I needed to know or do before my appointment. I was told "Do not shave or Nair or do anything to the areas to be waxed." I began asking if I should trim my hair to a specific length and was cut off and told "Do not cut it. She needs a good length of hair to let the wax adhere." Upon arriving I was notified that Trish doesn't do Brazilians and only does bikini waxing. Not what I wanted but I figured I would make the best of it. While waiting, I overheard the woman on the phone tell a client that the hair should be between 1/4" and 1/2" for waxing. Knowing my hair was longer than that, I addressed the matter first thing with Trish. She informed me that she wasn't allowed to cut/trim the hair down and proceeded to do a test patch on my underarm. She was pleased with how it came off and waxed my bikini line and underarms. While it was more painful than what I am accustomed to, I assumed it was because of the extra hair length. Once she finished she handed me a sample of a product to calm down inflammation. I assumed she did this for everyone. I paid then continued on with my day. When I arrived home 6 hours later, the skin was still painful so I checked it out in the mirror. I have bruising and marks that look like hickeys. If this was going to be the result of waxing hair longer than 1/2", I wish Trish would have informed me.
