A friend recommended this salon to me. I walked in, was told to sign in and pick a color. I showed her a photo of what I wanted and she showed me which polish samples to choose from. Instead of soaking my shellac off, she used the drill all the way down to my nail. Not only did she cut me and make me bleed, she painted over the blood on my nail and it shows through! I had to ask her what her name was. She never even introduced herself to me. Her name was Diane. She didn't say a word to me except when she was disgusted by my blood and asked if the drill had cut me. She didn't even apologize. I emailed the shop twice explaining what happened and asking to have them fixed and they never responded. Definitely NOT #1! read more

Came on a Sunday and normally they do good but the manager did a terrible job. Only one coat of a light polish I could see thru my nails and three of them were crooked. Came back on Monday to fix and repair and was charged twice. Even tho I was super specific on my shape and nails. When I came back to fix had sand guy doing my nails. Still crooked. They charged me full price save $5 for the "color change". They lost my families business. read more

I took my two granddaughters and myself to #1 nails yesterday and we were treated so well! Our 4 & 7 year old girls were so excited and the team just gave them the princess treatment. it was so fun to see their faces! Ugh I've been coming here for the past 6 months and this weekend I went in for a pedi and gel. Well the pedi was awful. The polish looks so sloppy like a child did it. Then the gel was sooo sloppy and started chipping after just 4 days. I went in to get it fixed and they didn't do a very good job, I had mentioned how one nail was square and the rest round and they didn't fix that, and they just put more shellac over the old shellac. I won't be back here after that sloppy job and bad fix I even told them this was FOR A WEDDING. I feel like if you're doing someone's nails for a special even like that you'd take better care of them. Guess not. read more

Not sure how many stars I should give bc this review isnt about their services or works! So, I came back one afternoon for a pedi and dip nail after awhile, just walked in and they were busy busy. I waited for a bit and left, not bc I was waited for so long but bc I saw the female tech who I was afraid of the last time I was there still working at the salon. I didnt have a service done by her the last time but by seeing how she treated her client with aggression gave me a horrible impression. She was angry and so rude to that client, slamming the table and called the client weird, told her that her nails different and she was born like that; Then walked away telling the client that she would not take off (whatever on the client nails) for her!!! The whole time that poor customer was polite and patient with the nail tech. I think no matter how difficult a customer is, as a services provider you are not allowed to be rude and to act unprofessionally. You have rights to politely refuse to provide a service if customers are disrespectful/rude to you. Just my suggestions from being in customer-service job. Anyway, I dont know if the owner/manager was there when the incident happened but that nail tech still works there I guess I just dont come back. Who knows I might be in the same situation! This is my husband and my favorite place for pedicures! We live 35 minutes away and will drive here just to get their top full treatment pedicures together. We have never been rushed, everyone is extremely kind and friendly. The best part is that the technicians are knowledgeable, not just in the basics but they have been taught about anatomy and problems of the nail and feet. I have a tendency toward ingrown nails and the techs know exactly how to treat and prevent me from having pain and continuing problems. I overheard a conversation where the tech was educating a client about how fungus affects her nail and that she should consult her physician about it but could also look into homeopathic remedies if she chose. The gals at the front desk will go out of the way to find the perfect color for you and they always offer something to drink. It is just a nice relaxing atmosphere! I 100% recommend them! read more

Welcoming experience! My friend and I walked in early for appointments that we were able to schedule online. We were taken immediately luckily. But let me tell you how welcoming they making you feel upon walking in the door. I have never felt more welcome in a nail salon. The friendly technicians explained our pedicure options and we selected the deluxe option. What a pleasant experience it was! We decided to tack on a manicure and they were able to accommodate our request. Our pedicures and manicures were nicely done. Did I mention how clean this salon was? Dien is very rude. the way he talks to his clients and the receptionist is very rude these girls are super nice and always help out the best they can on the other hand it's your job to accommodate us clients you blaming it on the receptionist for doing YOUR job is very immature and also shouting across the room at them is not nice and also the way he treats clients and gives attitude is insane if you are having a bad day just don't go to work it's unnecessary to treat clients in such a rude way I think the owner needs to think twice of keeping him unless he changes his attitude towards people someone needs to talk to him ASAP because in this is getting out of hand and clients need to start speaking up like I did when I noticed him being very rude to me. read more

Don't waste your time here. There are other places in the area that will show more appreciation for your business. I've known of this place for many years but I usually go to a different salon, but didn't want to drive the distance today. When I walked in I asked how long and she said 5 mins. There was a teenager asking me on what I wanted done and she wasn't really sure what services they offered...I started getting scared thinking I hope you're not the one doing my nails either. After about 25 mins I was told to go to the chair and left me waiting another 15 while he finished another customer. After coming over and apologizing, he moved a few things around the table and took off again without saying anything to correct work another worker was having difficulty with. I walked over to ask if he were coming back and he acted as if I were bothering him. I was tempted to walk out but I have an event tomorrow and was pretty desperate. After my services were completed, which were done in a decent time, boy was I sticker shocked. It was double the cost I would pay anywhere else. I asked him what was it for and he tried to fabricate services. I didn't want to argue but they will never get a penny from me again. Now I know why I never visited before. I have never felt so disrespected in my life! Do not book with these people. They will talk about you out loud in Korean and laugh at their customers. I had an appointment and ended up cancelling due to some personal issues. I rescheduled the appointment and was seen by my normal technician, Sarah. Sarah was really rude to me and said I was a no show to the appointment and I told her I'm sorry for the miscommunication but I cancelled the day before. She said it wasn't her problem, called me a liar and didn't want to do my nails then walked away. Mind you it was a day before my event. The owner of the establishment ended up doing my nails and was making excuses for how I was treated by her. This is not how you treat people. Would definitely give your business elsewhere. read more

Very disappointed that this business gives such poor customer service. I had an appointment that I booked a day before for a full set. It was my first time there as a customer. I walked in with barely anyone acknowledging me or what I was there for. I helped myself to the wall to pick out a color on own without having any assistance with anyone telling me where things were. I waited 40 minutes before being sat down. Emily called me over to have a seat . She did not acknowledge that I just waited over 30 minutes and I spoke up and said an apology would be nice for having to wait so long and this is my first time here. And her response was what do you want me to do. Again not acknowledging my time . All is said was it happens . Another lady that was a walk in pedicure also was waiting and kept asking how long it would take. The lady also asked would it be better to make an appointment. My nail tech responded yes. Obviously that's not true because I had an appointment and waited over 30 minutes.When Emily was shaping my nails I mentioned to her could you shape the nail a little different this way. Her response was I'm not done yet. She obviously had an attitude the rest of my appointment. $45 dip. Done by "Emily"-she was friendly. The workers are nice but spoke Vietnamese the whole time to each other. Not sure if I'll be back just bc I didn't see anyone clean anything in between customers and the area I sat down at wasn't exactly clean either......... I liked the outcome of my nails though. It's what I asked for.she helped me pick the color I think bc I was taking too long to decide if I wanted a more pink nude or beige lol. When she applied my last clear coat, the stuff came out super think and gooey like one giant gunk of polish, so she put the lid on and then went to get someone else's and then when she took the top of it, the inner plastic piece was stuck inside and she was like oh no.. so I'm like ugh ok this shouldn't be happening but whatever let's just get this done and she made it work. Like I said, not sure if anything was cleaned properly bc someone had just gotten their nails done when she grabbed the top coat from the other station without sanitizing anything. They do an excellent job on my pedi's every single time and feet can get pretty bad when I wait too long between visits. Recently I stated getting mani's. I love the dip. In the past, I have gone to # 1 Nail Salon because they have fantastic student prices. Otherwise, you wouldn't catch me there. The most recent time I went, I got a full set of gels. The lady butchered my cuticles, as they were bleeding and throbbing with pain. Not too polite or considerate either. After she was done torturing me, I went to pay, and she charged me over the student price. I did not even argue because I wanted to get the hell out of there. When I returned home, I noticed she shorted me change. I know, I should have checked while I was there, but I just wanted to leave. It's not like I didn't tip her?.. If you are getting acrylics... be careful... you will be filing and finishing yourself - they turned out crooked and thick, not one nail was consistent...some long, some short. The owner actually was trying to fix them and was reprimanding the lady who put them on... I couldn't wait and left without a clear coat or finish. I've been going there for over 10 years and never have I been so unsatisfied as I have these last few times I've gone to try out the new owners , not knowing Sue sold the place .. the one who does my nails is always late , no matter if you make an appointment or not .. I made one last time I went and waited an extra 45 minutes .. he didn't give me the design I wanted after I asked specifically " can you do this design , if not than please be honest cause I will choose something else " & now after a week I'm dealing with lifting , a cracked nail, a nail gem that has gotten caught on ALL my clothes , towels & blankets cause he didn't glue it properly & im just not pleased at all.
