He called back and I was told no order was placed. I was told they could order it and it would take a week but suggested I get it online. I asked for the manager to call me. While waiting, I ordered it online with one day delivery with no shipping fees. Manger called and said she is having someone drive it over from another store. I'm sorry, but that is the first response I should have received when the store realized their employee didn't do their job. Terrible customer service. I will not be returning, which is a bummer because I always prefer brick and mortar over internet shopping and I like supporting a local store.

The prices were pretty…read morecomparable for what we were after (a relatively standard pool with a hot tub - nothing massively fancy), and Dream Pools was a hair more expensive - maybe $1,000 or so. However, the other company's main pitch was "we're the biggest pool company in town so that's why you should choose us - how do you know if the other guys will still be in business in 10 years?" First, Walmart is the biggest retailer, but that doesn't mean that it's the best. Second, Toys R Us could have said the same thing 10 years ago, and look where they are now. Third, I don't recall that the other guys offered a 10 year warranty anyway, so what does it matter. Dream Pools, on the other hand gave me a feeling that they'd offer a more personal service, which when you are spending a lot of money on a major project offers quite a bit of peace of mind. In addition, they committed to it being finished in six weeks, which when you have three kids on summer vacation and you don't start until early June, is a big benefit. Throughout the process, Carlos and Sylvia (the company owners) came out 2-3 times each week to check in on things. He offered helpful suggestions, and also worked with us on things that we wanted. His crew was polite, efficient and tidy. Because we wanted to do a few other things as well (new fence, paving around the pool, new sod), I simply went through Carlos to get these done. Any savings that I could have made by finding my own contractors (and these guys were still surprisingly affordable) was offset by not having to deal with them individually to schedule things - Carlos did all that for us. The work was of the highest craftsmanship and quality. The team broke ground on June 7 and I was in the pool on July 17. The pool and the entire garden looks beyond what I could have hoped for. I can't recommend Dream Pools highly enough.

After receiving 4 bids for pool & spa resurfacing & renovations, we chose Capstone. We resurfaced, re-tiled, reset the coping, split the drains, changed out the lights in both the pool & spa, & shallowed the deep end from 9ft to 5 1/2 ft, & created a longer bench in the deeper end of the pool. For the resurfacing we used Tropics Blue Mini Pebble, recommended by Shelby, our amazing Project Coordinator, & we love it! It actually looks a little different throughout the day depending on the amount of sunlight. The entire Capstone team is impressive! They make you feel like you are their only client. Travis came out to give us our estimate & was great at suggestions to help us reach our vision & stay within budget. Aubrey & Shelby were incredible at communication regarding scheduling, responding to the many questions we had about the details, & when any issues arose, communicating to the team. Cameron always made time to stop by for finishing touches & made sure we were happy. Capstone Pool & Spa just finished a MAJOR project to refinish my pool and replace ALL the concrete…read morein the back yard. To say that such a project is a major undertaking is truly an understatement. John was our project manager (juggling ours plus many other projects this summer) and did an excellent job of keeping track of where we were in our project as time and tasks progressed. We chose poured concrete coping, top-cast finish for coping and deck and StoneScapes Aqua Cool pebble finish. We also had them raise the wall on the in-pool spa so that the coping runs around the top of the spa at the same height as the rest of the coping with a small spillway to circulate the water back into the pool. We had them plum a separate intake for the pool vacuum so water is drawn in through both the skimmer and the pool sweep. And we added an auto-fill so we no longer have to remember to fill the pool. I am very happy with all the design choices we made; John was a great help with those decisions. There must have been at least 30 different people working on our project during the 3-month duration. Every one of the resources were professional, polite and most of all took great care to keep our back yard cleaned up and safe after each day's work. I don't know if any of you have had ALL your concrete decking demo'd, but it looked like a bomb went off after the jackhammering was done and before all the concrete rubble was removed. BUT John's crew got it all removed (plus some extra rubble we had lying around in our yard) and smoothed the dirt out so we could safely walk in the back yard. The tile work was impeccable; AJ was very detail oriented and lined all the patterns up beautifully. Frankie was the best pool electrician/plumber and was very patient with all my questions and concerns. He also took the time to handle small details that he thought should be done, like fitting a board back in my fence that had to be removed for a new gas line that was put in. At the end there were several small things to finish up, I created a list for John and he diligently worked through all of them. I LOVE my pool and backyard now, once the water was in and balanced, we were in it EVERY day this summer! Thanks for all your hard work and effort John and everyone at Capstone. We researched a bunch of different pool companies and asked for quotes and we went with La Costa Custom Pools. The scope of work included remodeling our waterfall feature, installing a new water slide, upgrading the pool control box, adding a salt cell system, replacing all pool lights, repairing cracks and chipped concrete, and repainting the trim around both the pool and spa. From start to finish, the craftsmanship and attention to detail were outstanding. Communication throughout the project was exceptional. We were consistently kept informed about timelines, next steps, and any adjustments. On the rare occasions when work had to pause due to rain, we received clear notice in advance. We never had to guess what was happening or when crews would arrive. Cory managed the project closely and made sure everything stayed on track. He brought in Bob, a master pool structure builder from Great X-Scapes, and along with Peri, they built an incredible waterfall and water slide that not only look amazing but are clearly built to last for years. As with any remodel, a few minor issues surfaced after completion. The trim paint began to chip due to a product issue, and there was a significant leak from an old pipe nipple in the existing pool setup. In both cases, Cory and Bill responded immediately. The entire trim was redone without hesitation, and the leak was repaired quickly and properly. That level of accountability and follow through speaks volumes. The project was originally quoted at around two months, and they completed it in just over one month without sacrificing quality.
