I booked an appointment through Yelp, showed up for the appointment only to find out they had no idea I booked anything, nor were they even concerned. I let it slide, booked for a different day and time and not with the girl I originally planned on using. Michelle was very thorough on my right eye, but I guess rearranging my back meant my left eye didn't get as much attention. My left eye was nearly half of my right eye. Also, I'm not sure if the language barrier had anything to do with it, but she didn't even give me instruction on how to care for them. Didn't inform me to brush them or even use a special make up remover. Also, the front desk didn't even try to have me book another appointment. I'm not sure if I have a membership or not, or if they even care if I return. I won't be returning to this location. Poor customer service all around. I was really upset that something that typically only takes about an hour took more that 3 hours, not only that but the lashes didn't even last a week. RIDICULOUS. I knew I should have supported a small business instead of a corporation. I came in the Thursday before Memorial Day to have a full new set of hybrids done and upon arrival she informed me I had leftover makeup on my eyelashes and gave me a wipe to remove it. She proceeded to install my set, initially they looked great but Almost all of them fell out over the weekend. I called in my 3 day period of issue and asked for a correction. I came in and the same tech told me it was because of the mascara, THAT I REMOVED?? And I followed all the aftercare rules after the weekend. I went in for my correction and the tech stated she did not have enough time to complete the correction so she rescheduled me again for another correction. I come in today for my SECOND correction and they tell me because of all this they cannot correct the hybrids I paid DOUBLE THE PRICE FOR and can only fix some with the individuals. So I paid 140$ for a botched set that they refused to properly fix. WHY Wouldn't you want to reschedule the first full set if my makeup was gonna be a problem, but what else do y'all expect when I removed all my makeup right then and there? No makeup is no makeup? I just got home from getting my lashes done for the very first time at this place, AND ever. I feel like such a karen writing this, but the fact that i even have to is ridiculous. Especially since i'm literally 15 years old. I booked an appointment here, and my hopes were high. I came in and i showed my lash tech what i wanted. she told me that i couldn't get what i had in the picture because she had a client after me. I dealt with what i was told, and made an effort to grin and bear it through the rest of my appointment. My appointment was finished, and I was not given any instructions on how to take care of my lashes going forward. my tech came out with me to receive her tip, and proceeded to leave the building before me, even though she has another "client".... Not only did i pay a ridiculous amount of money for what i didn't even want, but i was lied to. Extremely unprofessional. This place is seriously legit. As soon as my my mom and I walked in we were treated very nice, I felt like they actually appreciated our business. The receptionists were also very kind enough to give me and my mom some tips on how to keep our eyelash extensions for a much longer time. Don't go. I have been a "member" for 4 1/2 years, had payment auto drafted and kept appointments. This location has no customer loyalty. I arrived at 10:00 for a 9:50 Appt. I was called from across the lobby (where there were other clients waiting) to come sign this form because I was 10 minutes late... that I will only get the remaining 50 minutes and no corrections if I need any. They checked me in at 10:01 It was the Manager Vanessa! I She told me it's "policy". She was rude and customer retention is definitely not a concern at that location. I think an acknowledgment to me that it's important that clients be on time and make me aware of the "policy" for the future. I asked about terminating my membership. She said she would be glad to print one. She did. My daughters and I Cancelled our memberships. I'm sure they won't miss that 4000.00 per year. They spend time on their phones while standing at the counter. Many times nobody is even there. For the first time I decided to get lash extensions, my intentions were to sign up for their membership and go ever 2 weeks for a refill. I went in on Sunday October 25th to get the full set. After I was done my technician told me not to get them wet for 24 hours and next time I come I should get some different lashes mixed in to give me the more natural look I asked for. As I'm walking out the door I was told have a great day by the lady at the counter and that was all she wrote. When I got home I googled how to make them last longest and proper care so I even changed my moisturizer with an oil free one etc... The next morning I work up with about 10 lashes on my face from my right eye and the lashes that stayed on that eye were not sitting properly. I called as soon as they opened and I was asked if I purchased any care products or received a care card. I told her no I was never offered any of that, but I would purchase them. So I go in that same day for my correction. During my correction my same technician said she was out of glue that day before and asked the girl at the counter if they had anymore and at the time they didn't so she had to make it stretch to work. She said the glue was watery when she was putting it on. I don't know what exactly she had to do to make it stretch but she was insisting that was the reason so many lashes fell. After leaving they told me all about their products and gave me a care card. I spent about $70 on 3 products including a lash wash. As well as signed up for the membership. Not even a week later I only had 3-5 lashes left on that same right eye and on the other eye less than half. I called and spoke to the store manager and was told the only thing she could do was cancel the membership. I was in awe. I just spent $200 for less than a week of lashes. That to me is insane and a rip off. I understand things happen I think I was very understanding when the technician told me she had to make the glue stretch, I was very understand they didn't offer me the care card or any care products the first day. I am not understanding when people and companies don't stand behind their product and services. I asked for a corporate number and was told there wasn't one. I was told this is a franchise, then I asked if the owners could call me. I was told no. Buyer beware! read more

Don't waste your time at this place. I've been a member for over a year now and I've left this place satisfied maybe 4 times. It's sad. First off, customer service is a joke. They will reschedule you minutes before your appointment.. However, if YOU need to reschedule, you get charged. At one point, they started added $5 to everything and when you ask why, they try to mind fuck you like it's what you've been paying this whole time. Oh and if you get a senior stylist (which they don't tell you) it's another $5 dollars. JOKE! I'm not one to complain, hence why I've been a member for so long. Also, when you call them, they ask if they can put you on a brief hold and then never take you off hold. It's a joke. I've been in that waiting room.. there's multiple girls doing nothing. There's no reason I should be on hold for 9 minutes (and it's happened more then once). It's purposely done because they don't want to do their job. You have to call maybe 5 times in a row. I want to cancel but it's an additional $50 or something like that so I figured I'd cut them off at the source. Turns out It's not worth blocking them.. they still make the transaction so just get a new card. Don't believe the good reviews. At one point they were giving away a free refill for a 5 star review. I keep giving this place chance after chance to redeem themselves and I don't know why. I have yet to actually have lashes applied because I can't get past the rude and incompetent front desk staff. I have several friends that get their lashes done here and I had high hope for this location since my wedding is coming up. During my first visit, I did a walk in not knowing how the salon operated. I walked up to one of the male front desk workers staring at himself in the mirror. When he finally stopped looking at himself and addressed me he seemed very annoyed that he had to help me. When telling him about my interest in making an appointment, he demanded my credit card. I had literally been in the place for less than a minute and he had failed to welcome me to salon, explain the process, or explain what I could expect. While he has my credit card in his hand, I ask about the sign and the prices regarding membership. His explanation was VERY UNCLEAR and you was annoyed to have to answer questions and kept rolling his eyes at me. It was at that point i had been in the place for less than 5 minutes and was being talked to rudely and he had my credit card. I told myself that something wasn't right with this situation and I left. I in the meantime went to another lash location and wasn't happy with my results. I was convinced to give this location another try from my friend and I called to make an appointment with Petia who came highly recommended. Her first available appointment was a week out and her only appointment was for a time during my work schedule. I took the appointment and planned to leave work early. I was called on the day to my appointment and was told they could take me early. I showed up and after filling out my papers was introduced to another lash stylist, not petia! They told me that because I was a new client, they bumped my appointment to someone else. So now not only did I not get my lashes done, it messed up all of my appointments for my wedding that were dependent on the lashes let alone me taking time off of work. I went ahead and made another appointment in the future with petia because I am a glutton for punishment. read more

I started coming to Amazing Lash Studio a few months back at the League City Location the first 2 times I went I had a great experience, after that the girl who had done my lashes left and since I had issues with them. I started coming to this location, had one bad experience here as well with scheduling and the way one of the lash technicians applied the tape on my eye. After the manager found out of my experiences she called me to offer a complimentary fill and worked with my schedule for it. I came in today for my lashes done with Nora, thinking this was going to be the last time I get them done, but I had a good experience today. She did my lashes they came out great. The only thing I did not like was that before knowing my session was complimentary they were going to charge me for a full set even though she only took 30min to do them. If I were to had to pay for a full set I would probably be very upset since I did not get a full hour otherwise I'm not sure what the difference is from a 30 min fill and a full-set. Either way I am very satisfied today and will continue to come to this location, but will be sure to confirm they schedule me for full-sets. read more

I really liked the results at first...until my eyelashes started falling out. Not all their technicians are of equal caliber. You don't always get the same results. I nearly lost all my lashes because one girl put too much glue on. I had to have another technician pull the glue off my eyelids (hurt too). Needless to say, that was my last time at Amazing Lash. After going to other technicians in the area, it's now apparent how undertrained/inexperienced the technicians at Amazing Lash are. They don't even give you a cleaning kit or any aftercare instructions like other places. They just send you on your way with a clean mascara brush. Kinda lame for what you pay for. read more

I agree with a previous post. I wish i could give negative stars. Very displeased. I switched to this location after receiving terrible service at the Bay Colony location. After only a day of having my lashes done from Bay Colony they were falling out and looked terrible. Kimber at Baybrook did the correction service and I was very pleased with her work. I continued service for a few months , but then it became difficult to book appointments so I stopped going. Recently I decided to try my luck again since I have an event to go to I wanted to get them done again. Understandably trying to book on the weekends is hard but I was told there was one appt open with a Master for Saturday . It fit perfect for the time I would be availiable because I already had a hair appt scheduled for the morning. Given the great service I had with Kimber I immediately booked since this location Normally had great reviews. As luck would have it the Master called in so I recieved the call saturday morning that my appt would be canceled, and that they MIGHT be able to fit me in with someone else if they had any cancellations. Obviously last min cancellation and I'm depending on an appt can u accommodate me in any way ? Can u see if someone would be willing to work over but apparently that's not an option with this company. I finally received a call back stating that they could get me in at 12 which I knew was going to be a stretch and hard for me to make since my hair appt was at 10 on another side of town. After heavy debate I decided to book it. After explaining to the receptionist that It was going to be a stretch for me to get there by 12 she told me after 15 mins I would have to sign a waiver stating that the technician can only complete up to her time block (which is only an hr) and that I may have a half completed set. I was absolutely baffled! So u can inconvenience me and resechedule my appt then tell me if im late I run the risk of not having the job complete, and still have to pay full price for my service? And your content with your customers walking out with an incomplete job? Needless to say I didn't make the appt. Luckily Lash Envy was more willing to work in a new customer on an already booked schedule especially one who has multiple bad experiences with Amazing Lash. I don't know what there staffing situation is but seems like they would be more prepared for technicians that call in because life does happen. In the meantime you still should be able to operate, and accommodate your customers. Don't waste your time or money with Amazing Lash unless you can book an appointment with Kimber. read more

Stylist is great, never had one complaint about her but the people in the front are extremely rude. They over charged my card without my authorization and manager said she would call me in the morning to fix there mistake and now she doesn't answer my calls. To top it off they make you seem like it's your problem not theirs when they do mistakes. They have also changed my appointments in the past without my authorization. Every time there is a problem they never have a manager onsite to take care of the mess they do. They also renewed at one point my membership without my authorization. read more

The ladies do a good job of putting on the lashes. My problem is with the billing and the way the computer system works! I have a membership and every time I go I have had membership fee taken out and then pay again, he manager said she will look at why do I pay every time when my membership should cover my refill. I go this week and will see what happens but for now I will NOT RENEW at the end of contract. After I have spoke with the manager she reviewed my account and fixed what was wrong. At first I was really skeptical to do my lashes because of previous places but the stylist I had (Lydia Le) reassured me of all my worries and answered all my questions! The process took an hour and thirty minutes and I took a nice nap! Nothing irritated my eyes during or after the process! It's been 3 weeks now and my eyelashes are still long and looking great! They do not feel heavy on my eyelashes and I don't even need to put mascara on. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for eyelash extensions! Latest bothersome encounter, came in for my refill, girl walked up from back room, no smile, just a stern "how can I help you". Then I nearly slipped walking in and said, "wow I almost slipped, is the floor wet or is it my sneakers?". To which she responded (again without expression) "the floor is wet how can I help you?" Should also mention they had no wet floor sign....so way to welcome a lawsuit there. So, the dilemma, go somewhere where the product is good and the service sub par or find something better?
