She was kind, patient, and professional every step of the way. I wanted something natural, to help fill in my sparse areas while maintaining a nice shape. And that's exact what McKenzie was able to give me. I couldn't be happier with my experience or the results. If you're on the fence, DO IT! It's so worth it.

Really people!!!...I truly don't take the time to do reviews unless "I'm totally furious" or I'm…read moretotally, terrifically satisfied....in this case it is fortunately the latter (5 stars for McKenzie, for real!). So, just a little back story, I've been considering microblading for quite some time---I'm talking quite a few years---but the more I researched and the more I talked with other people, I just didn't feel like the process (and minor pain) would be worth it. Anyway, who cares if because of years of excessive brow plucking, waxing and "shaving" my natural eyebrows were absolutely "non-existent". Who cares if this then, required "adding-in" to my morning routine, an additional session on how accurately and quickly I could draw and fill-in TWO matching eyebrows! Plus, have them look as natural as possible. I CARED! So, I took the leap....re-evaluated all of the "comments/reviews" sections for all of the shops in my area and somehow landed on McKenzie's Brows and Beautie shop. Here's the bottom-line, I made my first appointment with McKenzie and received a great deal of information and "care"....but no joke---it is a bit painful...and I totally left there without the feeling of "great accomplishment", I'd hoped for. But, McKenzie had assured me that the 2nd session, the touchup, (which she schedules right there on the spot...and at no extra charge!) would make it all better...AND GUESS WHAT people...it did and boy do I feel good about my decision now....and my brows look great! Thanks again McKenzie!

Let me first start by stating that you need look no further than Christina at Inked & Blinked for…read moreyour permanent makeup needs! I am no stranger to tattooing or microblading my eyebrows, in fact, I first tattooed them over a decade ago at another establishment. What I remember about that was that it hurt, but it was beautiful. Fast forward a couple of years and the new buzz word became microblading, so I jumped on the bandwagon and started going to a place in Bellaire that was highly recommended. But after 3 years of driving there (and constantly still coloring my brows in with makeup during those 3 years), it became a chore and I went somewhere closer to my home. Needless to say, I was not pleased with the results and went more than 2 years with getting no touch ups at all. Christina came highly recommended, so I decided to reach out and try tattooing again. First, she explained to me that what I thought was faded (and horrible) color from my microblading, was actually scar tissue from a job no-so-well done. She assured me that her method of tattooing would not hurt (like the first time I had it done), and so we began the process. She was 100% right! No pain! She was easy and fun to talk to, but more importantly, the end result of her work is AH-MAZING!! I followed her after care instructions to the letter, and actually healed a little faster than expected. When I came in for my follow up appointment (that I requested just to be sure all looked good to her), she even commented how good everything looked and only did a tiny bit of touch up. I have already referred her to my friends and recommend her to everyone considering tattooing as an alternative to actual microblading. Christina literally is my forever go to!!

Who wouldn't love waking up with perfect, natural looking brows?! I did have a big concern though...I either found reviews that said 'it hurt' or 'didn't feel a thing.' My other concern was that I wanted to find a place that had really great reviews- they are working on your face after all! So... here is it... Natasha is WONDERFUL! She numbs your eyebrow area before starting the microblading. So, the most you feel is pressure. And in some places you don't even feel pressure. Believe me when I say that you do not have to be concerned about pain- I DO NOT like needles and have a low pain tolerance. The numbing process honestly feels like a really rough eyebrow plucking. Then once that is done, you don't feel a thing while Natasha does her magic. Skin Solutions Day Spa is my new favorite place! It's very cozy, you walk in and you are met with wonderful, relaxing smells. Everyone I met was very patient and nice. Great customer service- which is an absolute must for me!! They offer so many different services- eyebrows, eyelashes, massages, skin treatments. It's hard to just choose one! And honestly, the reviews all speak for themselves. I highly recommend this place- why drive all the way to Houston when you can have first class spa services right here in the Suburbs?! And if you are even considering the microblading... schedule a Q & A with Natasha. It's free and she can answer any questions you have. (If you are worried about the pain.. please trust me when I say you have nothing to worry about!)
