I can't stress enough.... Do not go here for your lashes. My experience with them was horrible from start to finish. They do not stock quality lashes. I don't know why anyone would want to pay the amount that they ask for hours worth of application, and Walmart quality lashes. I should have taken it as a warning sign that both times I went in for appointments the technicians' lash extensions looked HORRENDOUS. Their lashes are so thin and frail that they bent and broke off of my face "Natural" lash extensions is the stupidest business plan I have ever heard of, personally. People achieve the "natural" look via mascara and cheaper glue on lashes all the time. I communicated to Amazing Lash Studio over the phone, via text, and via email that I was unhappy with the services and wished to cancel my membership. They then proceeded to make it extremely difficult to cancel and were very coercive/ dishonest in the process. This company is sleazy as f***. They tried to charge me for appointments that I made previously after I had communicated I wanted to cancel multiple times. Then, after I did resign my subscription, they continued to message me asking if I wanted to book another appointment. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Save your money people. read more

I would not use this place if you're looking for a place you can trust. I had three different girls do my lashes and they call came out a different way, so I never knew if they would look good or not. I was also pestered about a membership and buying something new every time I went into the store, which became extremely annoying. Being in sales, it's important to make a customer feel like they are important. They had the audacity to even tell me their "high volume of clients" causes them to not be as informative as they could be. Okay? Great customer service....... Last but not least, they finally got a membership out of me and then failed to tell me there was a form I needed to fill out before I could cancel. The next month, 120 dollars was taken out of my account without me even knowing or using their service for two months. Now they are trying to charge me 30 days later for another month! I called my bank and reported them, thankfully I can help this on my own end. Word of advice: Don't hand unintelligent associates your debit card. Oh wow. Where do I start??? Let me start by saying that if I could give this place 0 stars I would. To start, I signed up to be a member because I get my lashes done very frequently. I walked in WITH my son to sign up to be a member. Process took about 20 min because I have questions to ask. Mind you, I'm there for my first full set. WITH MY 5 year old at my side. I had already made arrangements to have him picked up before my appointment started (but he usually goes with me because he does VERY well sitting and waiting for me). Not once did she say anything about my son not being able to go back with me. Second appointment comes and I, AGAIN, bring my son with me. Only this time around not even 5 seconds walking through the door before I can confirm my appointment, the girl at the front desk is already saying she can't help me with my son. Something that no one bothered to tell me when I was originally there signing up to be a member with my son with me. The actual lash techs are horrible. They straight up tell you they have "more experienced lash techs or newer ones" yet you're going to pay the same price all around even if he lash tech they assign you is new and is a lot slower and doesn't manage to get as many lashes on you in the 2 hour time frame they give you. They tell you to not get your lashes wet for 24 hours. Cool. Did that. They all fell off when I went to put a shirt on. Went back for a fill and tried to go 48 hours without getting them wet. Nope. Didn't help. I called to cancel my membership because this place is GARBAGE. They sent me a cancellation form to fill out. 2 months go by and I log in to my bank account to see my statements. This place has been charging my account for 2 months. I called the lash studio to see what's going on and the manager says "she lost my email" I forward them the email I sent all the way back in July and contact the manager again and she "can't seem to find my email but kind of remembers what the situation is" ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? I asked for an immediate refund. Her words were "as a courtesy I can refund the money from last month" THATS NOT A COURTESY. you guys INCORRECTLY CHARGED MY ACCOUNT AND YOURE COURTESY IS TO REFUND ME MY MONEY YOU WERENT SUPPOSED TO CHARGE ME IN THE FIRST PLACE ??? When you sign the year-long contract you're told that you should only have to come in every 2 weeks. I was coming in every two weeks but because they use substandard glue and lashes my lashes fell out before the two weeks were up and I was left with very few lashes. I was blamed for this. I was told that my eyelids were too oily, I didn't wash my lashes enough with their product, and I slept wrong. It took me awhile before I figured out that it wasn't totally my fault that the lashes weren't staying in. I have since changed to another stylist. Now my lashes stay on two sometimes three weeks. My stylist works from her home and charges less. I never have to worry about which stylist I'm going to get or whether or not they know what they're doing. This place doesn't even deserve one star. I have never in my life made a more idiotic decision then the day I signed a membership agreement with this company. The only reason why I kept my membership for this long, was only because after going through the entire staff to finally work with either Ashley L. or Carly (which are the only amazing part about amazing lash studio). Not only are the staff unwelcoming, but the service for what is is so unbelievably over priced. You have better luck getting your eyelashes done in the ghetto. The bitch manager Meggy. I don't know who trained her but to be a store manager takes a strong minded person who knows how to diffuse a situation vs. make it worse. From the minute I walked in, the environment was awkward. The employees didn't seem like they wanted to be there. As a first time eyelash user I don't feel you guys do a good job of explaining the different types of lashes. I went in the back room with no idea what I was getting done. The stylist Felipe wasn't personable. Didn't do a formal introduction. Didn't set expectations and just did his job. He didn't talk or fill me in on what was going on. It was just awkward beyond means. I'm not happy with my set and when Destiny called to check if I was happy with them I said no. It looks like I went in for a lash tint and I Can't see a difference. They said I would have to pay $95 more if I wanted volume. I got the intro rate of $69.99 and because I'm not a member I would have to pay $69.99 plus another $35 for what I want. Sounds crazy to me when you're trying to get people to sign on to your membership. I went in there wanting to do the membership but not after the unpleasant environment so I was gonna think about it. Next day after speaking to Destiny and not being treated like you guys wanted my business, I'm so glad I didn't get the membership. Everyone is very nice at Amazing Lash Studio, whether it's me calling in to make an appointment, to the lash ladies themselves. My only complaint is the pricing and how long it takes. I've been a member for a couple months and on top of paying for my monthly fee which is $69.99 and that covers one fill a month and since I have a hybrid set I have to pay and extra $25. So basically it's $95 for me to get a fill, not including tip. Where as at other places they charge around $65-80 for a fill. I've also been getting my lashes done for a while and it's never taken 2-3 hours. It's usually 2 tops. This will be my last month at Amazing Lashes. read more

Overall, awful customer service, poorly trained staff, outdated technology and systems, and a membership that is incredibly unfriendly to the consumer. You can tell there is terrible communication within the business because every time I called to get information I got a different answer. Their technology seems a bit outdated as well as they don't have any type of online membership portal or streamlined way of communicating with clients, therefore causing terrible follow through with returning phone calls, emails, etc. My appointment was never started on time even when I arrived early, during almost every visit my technician had to stop the procedure because they didn't have enough or the correct materials leaving me waiting in the service room. During a lash removal the technician couldn't fully remove all of the glue and they sent me out with glue still on my lashes saying it would come off in a couple days naturally???, plus they got remover in my eye causing immense discomfort. The front desk associates are very pushy about tipping and make you feel quite uncomfortable if you don't feel your service deserves one. The service rooms are cold and uncomfortable with no amenities and heinous lighting, youre just laying on a doctor's office table with that weird parchment paper on top of it with lights glaring in your eyes. The membership is easy to sign up for and very difficult to cancel. The staff pressure sell you after your first visit with the benefit of the discount, but once you sign up you're locked in for six months of payments before you can cancel it and the only way to skip a month is to freeze the account. This process is long, they make you fill out a form wait for phone/email correspondence, etc. you can't just go online click a button and skip the month. When I froze my account I was given incorrect information by a staff member as to when my account would reactivate. They did not follow through effectively to clear up the mistake and then used their membership agreement to cover themselves and avoid taking responsibility for their actions. The manager Maggie Stoecker in particular was highly unprofessional and passive aggressive in handling the situation. They also don't give refunds for any reason if you end your membership, even medical restrictions that threaten your life in my case, so basically even if you can't physically use the service, they won't issue a refund. Once they charge your card your money is theirs and they force you to use the credits at their store. Ultimately this establishment lacks professionalism and customer service. The staff are unfriendly, unhelpful, and unprepared. The atmosphere and technology systems are outdated and ineffective for the consumer. And the membership is a hassle that is not worth wasting your time or money on. read more

I'm being so serious when I say that the girl who was practicing did a FAR better job. Amazing Lash's extensions last barely two weeks and they are always trying to find ways to make sure you pay for a set instead of a fill, trying to cancel your membership is a nightmare too. When I went to someone's home it was more luxurious and I went out of the country for a month and when I came back I just needed a fill. Decided to get my lashes done for the first time with the Amazing Lash Studio because I have heard great things about their lash extensions. All the staff were very friendly but Sierra was AWESOME! She did an amazing job on my lashes and talked me through all my questions and concerns. She was very professional but still made the process fun and enjoyable. The studio itself was very clean and inviting and they offer a ton of great products to go along with the extensions. Not only was everyone great and my lashes turned out beautifully, but the prices here are sooo affordable! I felt like they were more worried about doing a good job and making sure I left happy rather than the cost. They offer other products and add ons but not once did I feel pressured to spend more than the base cost. Great place, especially for first timers!! read more

I have been a member for a year now and have had 5 different stylists. Ashley is by far my favorite one there. She has been my pick ever since she did my first set. Compared to the others, my lashes last the full 2.5 weeks. There are times when I've been able to wait 3 weeks until my next fill. Her technique is superb and my lashes always look flawless. When I want to change to a different style she asks a ton of questions to make sure she knows exactly what I want. I never feel rushed and she takes up the entire appointment time to make sure everything is perfect. She was also the one who recommended me the Lash Coating serum which has helped me extend the duration of the lashes to 3 weeks. Not only is she great at her job but she is also such a sweetheart. Every time I come in she is always smiling and I always enjoy talking to her during my visit. If you want great looking lashes that last a long time she is the person to pick. In regards to the front desk staff I would have to rate them 3 stars. There were many occurrences where they have misread my profile and told me the wrong information. For example one time i was told i had 4 credits on file then the next day i come in and it's actually only 2. I am on the $49 plan before they increased their membership price. This plan allowed you to get a full set if you have two credits available in your account. For two visits I was told I could not do this anymore so I would have to pay the remaining costs. One day the manager was there and told me that this only applied for the new members not the older ones. I was very upset since I paid extra for something that is already expensive. There were also many times when one staff member would tell me one thing about my plan and the other would tell me something different. Not sure if these individuals were new but there is definitely a lack a communication. DO NOT GO HERE! Unless you're going for the exact opposite of what you're paying for. You might even get lucky like I did and enjoy dry, cracked skin around your eyes that turn into mini wrinkles (hoping those go away)! I gave them chance after chance and pretty much went through every lash stylists (approximately 20 in 6 months) and was never happy. I know how eyelashes should look / last as I had mine done for years prior to coming here. The glue is crazy strong and you will most likely be dealing with swollen eyelids and dry skin for a few days after application. The sensitive glue is "crap" because it doesn't bond as I've been told by many of the stylists. They scrimp on time, you pay for 30 minutes and they spend 10 organizing supplies behind you, writing notes, and brushing eyelashes. I was even paying for weekly fills and they were still sparse and non-symmetrical. Worse part is that my natural lashes are pretty much non-existent and they were never short or sparse before coming here. Amazing Lash Studio cares nothing about the health of your lashes, period. On a side note, I actually really liked the girls at the front desk. They're in a predicament because they have to do their job but at the same time I'm sure they know the complaint is valid so they might agree with you but obviously can't admit it. And how were you complaining to them to receive attitude in response? It's not like they did your lashes. I always approached them with respect / kindness and received the same in return. I would give this studio 0 stars if it was possible. It was my first time and I was very excited as I was saving this experience for my graduation. Upon arriving, the lady explained the size and style of the lashes and I informed her I didn't want anything too glam, I specifically stated "subtle and natural". She then told me to communicate that to my technician which I did. After the two hours, I got up to see them and they were full on glam. The first things she said was "Are they too long?" Not wanting to be rude I told her it was fine. I went out to pay and let them know that next time I would like for them to be shorter. I was then told to buy the anti-bacterial wash as a way to "maintain the lashes". After my recommended $30 tip (despite being unsatisfied with the lashes), I had spent over $100 already and that I would most likely come back to purchase them when I get my fill to spread out the spending. Fast forward to a few days, I get a call from Haley asking how my eyelashes were doing. I responded that I was not happy as they are way too long and she basically said she wasn't calling for that, she only wanted to make sure there weren't any gaps. Disregarding me being unsatisfied. Not only were my eyelashes coming out continuously, I developed reoccurring pink eye. My doctor advised me to remove the lashes and to never get them again as they cause infections so I then cancelled my appointment and let them know I caught an infection from the lashes. Then, I find I was still charged for services I did not receive. When I called to ask for termination of membership and a refund, I was told I could not get one because the fine print states there were no refunds given. When I spoke to the manager, Maggie, she cut me off many times to the point of her apologizing for cutting me off, then as I began to speak again, I finally had to tell her, "I allowed you to speak without cutting you off, I would appreciate if you gave me that same respect". She stated they document everything, but I wonder why they didn't include me wanting to end my membership as it gave me an infection or that I would like a refund in their said "documentation". Bottom line, after I paid, I was no longer treated like a customer. They didn't show a genuine concern for an unsatisfied customer. If a customer called to cancel an appointment due to an infection, I would assume the staff would have a genuine regard for the well-being of their customer and would ask I was going to continue services as I would be charged regardless if I get my fill or not. When I originally went there I had a girl doing my lashes, then she was suddenly let go and I used a new girl only to find I had been paying all this time for mediocre lashes. When the 2nd girl did them they were so full and looked amazing. I was extremely disappointed about how they had been for the previous several months I was going. They offered me a 10% discount on my fill which just seemed pretty offensive considering I had spent 100's on garbage. When I moved they consistently kept calling me about my bill after I had asked a supervisor to review the issue several times but for months this continued on although I lived an hour away and could no longer go there. I went in a few weeks ago at the tempe location and the lady who did my lashes smelled awful the entire time like she just smoked a pack of cigs right before my appointment. So unprofessional. I was trying to be friendly and ask questions/get suggestions because it was my first time with the company (not my first time getting extensions). She was so rude and short with me. Didn't say a word the entire appointment. When I left I followed the exact instructions and all my lashes were GONE within two days. This is my second time at this location and I love it. The girls at the front desk are friendly and sweet compared to other locations. Emily did my eyelashes and she did awesome. She was so gentle, but very quick! I have been told that I have a lot of lashes compared to a normal person... so I always expect it to take the full 2 hours. Emily finished in 1.5 hours! They look really, really good. She really listened to what I wanted and I felt like she was genuinely a sweet person.
