Great food, service is good. I found the loaded Italian to be the best sandwinch there. The classic ham Italian is a little bland

The flavor was exceptional and I savored every bite. For my main I got their gnocchi dish. These were by far the lightest most fluffy gnocchi I have ever experienced. For desert I got a lemon cake that had a drizzle in the sponge to make sure it stayed moist and delicious. I would happily eat anything that comes out of this kitchen. Service: All of their wait staff was exceptional. They were courteous and went the extra mile to make dinner a fine dining experience. The only weak point was their hostess. I had a reservation but still had to wait ~15 minutes for a table after waiting ~5 minutes for the hostess to show up in the first place. Once the hostess was working again she regularly brushed past customers waiting in their overfilled waiting area and glared at people in her way. I understand her frustration but that is not an excuse to glare at customers. Ambiance: The waiting area was cramped but once we were seated the tables were spaced out enough that it didn't feel congested. There were lots of little nooks and crannies so each table had their own little area.

The dish truly is a top 5 in my book. For dinner my date had Black Truffle Risotto and I had the Frutti de Mare in black ink spaghetti. Both dishes were excellent. We decided it was a tie for who had the best dish. The service was helpful and not overbearing. Almost perfect. I highly recommend this restaurant. You won't be disappointed.

It's my favorite by far, but they have so many great and delicious dishes to choose from. This is a family owned business and a very nice family. The service has always been great and the atmosphere here can be anything you would want. It can be a casual night out with friends, or a romantic date night, to a celebration! We love the open kitchen and to see them cook and the open fired oven cooking pizza. The bread and salad to start out a meal is always tasty and I love their salad. It's simple, with their house dressing and it's cold! I love very cold salad. Delicious bread and butter, then whatever your entree is. If, and I mean if, you have room after your meal, ask about their desserts. They bring a tray out of what they have and two things I may order is their Tiramisu or, if they have any left, the Lemon Cake.... it's soooo delicious. Great, now I need to go back and start with dessert first ;)!! If you're ever in Windham, Maine, stop by Rose's, you'll be glad you did and you'll be well fed!

Delicious from first bite to last, I was not deterred by the size. Almost as BG as the plate. They don't skimp. Salad was fresh and the ladies had a couple of nice glasses of wine. Our server is a long time pro. 26 years! She knows everything there is to know about that menu, and is as professional as you'll ever see anywhere. We really liked the warm atmosphere. It's very family, can't duplicate that with decoration, it has to be there, grown through love and care. We met the owner Claudia, and she was as nice as can be. A really concerned and caring individual. We'll be back. It's a great place to bring your family & friends anytime.

It was my birthday, and so we picked Nonna's as our dear friend Kathy is 2nd generation Italian! We had a reservation, and were welcomed I out of the raw, cold evening and immediately seated. I didn't catch our waitstaff's name ( sorry‍), but she was young, professional, engaging, and funny!!! And just attentive enough without being intrusive The amazing owner, Ellen, came to take our drink orders ( to help out her staff), treating us as if we were family , and sitting at HER personal dining room table! Ellen is so warm and welcoming and makes a point of coming to chat at every single table to make sure everyone is happy and often just to say hi! The food was sensational- I asked for a sauce that my husband had had the last time we were there - a "southwestern vodka sauce", which I had over 4 cheese ravioli- that the Chef, Miguel, made deliciously!!!! All of us were happily devouring our dinners And then the entire staff surrounded our table and sang Happy Birthday to me- in Italian!!!!! And the entire dining room ( about 12 people in the front DR- not sure if the rear DR was full/singing...) joined in ( in English)!!!!!! SO much fun . And the complimentary Tarimisou ( sp) was delicious I would highly, highly recommend Nonna's kitchen for local, NorthCountry NH, delicious, authentic Italian food!!! My husband loved the chicken pasta. And the rum cake was soooo delicious. Next time you're in the area, check it out!

Courtney was our server; she was excellent & made sure we had what we needed, as well as willing to take a photo of us. I noticed that the bar area was slightly more busy. Mind you, it was a Wed. evening in late Sept. I cannot wait to go back to order a few apps, paired with nice red wine. DoorDash refuses to refund her, as they said they restaurant accepted the order and confirmed everything on their end. We've tried calling and emailing multiple times to rectify this issue, and there's been no response from Diomede's. Diomede's needs to TURN OFF online ordering ASAP, as everything was processed for our order according to DoorDash, so they will not refund us. They also didn't even believe my wife when she informed them the restaurant is closed, and that I had driven there trying to pickup the food that DoorDash said was 'ready for pickup,' according to the restaurant. Will be happy to delete this review if this gets rectified and resolved, but as of right now we're out $60 and nobody seems to want to fix this issue.

Anyway would we come back in the future but it does have a limited menu so best to check before making any plans.
