This was my first time visiting this new restaurant with a group of friends. We were all excited to try what we had heard was a more upscale Italian restaurant. The staff spoke very highly of their homemade sauces and fresh pasta, which made us even more excited to eat there.
Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. I had three separate conversations with my server about ordering chicken Alfredo with a cream sauce, yet my order still came out wrong. I was told they would rush the correct meal, but I ended up waiting another 25 minutes while the rest of my table finished eating. By the time my food finally arrived, everyone else was done, which completely took away from the experience of dining together.
To make matters worse, I wasn't impressed with the pasta when it finally arrived. It simply wasn't worth the wait or the price.
For the inconvenience, the restaurant offered me a slice of cheesecake without even asking whether I liked or could eat cheesecake. I appreciated the gesture, but it didn't address the fact that my dining experience had already been ruined. My friend had to speak up on my behalf because I felt my meal should have been fully comped after everything that happened. Instead, they only discounted it by 35%.
I work hard for my money, especially in today's economy, and eating out is a rare treat for me. I chose to splurge on this restaurant expecting a great experience, but I left feeling disappointed and frustrated.
Based on my experience, I won't be returning, and I can't recommend it to my friends or family. read more
