Prosciutto, Burrata, Truffle, arugula

These sandwiches were so insanely good I can't recommend trying this place enough. Would go back for lunch anytime we visit Sorrento! They have a ton of sandwhich combinations and they were sooo flavorful and fresh ingredients. A must go to place with friendly staff. Will definitely be back!

Beautiful entryway to A'Marenna

If you're a tourist looking for an amazing sandwich, go to A'Marenna. No hesitation. If you're a local and in need of a good sandwich, go to A'Marenna. No hesitation. Their sandwiches are on another level, like sinking your teeth into heaven. Every single bite somehow delivers the perfect balance of each ingredient, and the pizza bread is toasted to absolute perfection: crisp on the outside, soft on the inside. I don't say this lightly... it's quite possibly the best thing I've ever eaten. The spot itself is quaint, tucked into one of the many charming alleyways of Sorrento, and if you're lucky, snag one of the few bar-height seats along the wall to enjoy the ambiance and full experience. If I lived in Sorrento, I'd be a regular without question. The black truffle pate...the sun-dried tomatoes...puglia baratta... And the owners? Next level. Genuinely appreciative of every compliment, which somehow makes the whole experience taste even better.

Delicious panini's. The staff is helpful and will guide you don't worry they will come out and bring you the food. So good we came back a second time. Get the flat bread a Perone and Leonardo or a Carmel they are dynamite!!!!!

I had a great speck (prosciutto) and truffle pate panini sandwich here while staying in Sorrento. They have a lot of sandwich options, both meat heavy and vegan, plus salads. The servers are very upbeat. You'd be best to order takeout but they do have some seats outside. Be prepared to be wowed.

The line was long but the food, experience and lovely ladies singing and making the food was worth every bit of the wait. As a non sandwich aficionado I would partake in a sandwich here daily! Enjoy the people watching and the journey.

Hard working sandwich maker.

We are regulars when it comes to visiting Sorrento. We try to come at least once a year and stay a week. During our visits we visit many new (to us) restaurants, primarily because all the restaurants are pretty good. Today we tried A'Marenna. It is primarily a sandwich shop in a heavily traveled tourist area. When we arrived there was a good line that went just out the door. We got in the line and waited in the cramped little shop. There were only two young women working behind the counter. One did all the orders and deliveries to customers waiting outside. The sandwich maker was one of the hardest workers I have ever seen. Occasionally she would pick up a microphone and start singing an Italian rock song while the Italians in the place joined in. I'd rather she focused on making sandwiches instead of singing, but it was fun and she had such a positive attitude you could only smile and enjoy. Now, to the menu. They serve a variety of sandwiches: some simple, some exotic. Being an Elite reviewer I asked several people who were eating outside what they thought of their sandwich? I got 100% rave reviews. I had the smallest and probably the most conservative: prosciutto and mozzarella on a ciabatta bun. My wife had the save thing but with regular ham. Both sandwiches were great and both had an ample amount of meat. The mozzarella was very mild and chewy. You can't get this stuff in the U.S. We are here for the week and we will definitely go again. Be aware, there is very limited seating. We were staying two blocks away so we just took them to our Airbnb. I'd suggest walking downhill to the park by the elevator to eat. Bottom line, don't miss this little shop.

If you have the opportunity, grabbing a sandwich from A'Marena is a must. The wait is long but the sandwich and singing make it a worthwhile stop. The bread is delicious and all the ingredients are fresh. For me, the prosciutto, fresh mozzarella and black truffle pâté was the winner! My pictures captured the experience.

Stopped by to get some lunch and there was a line. Once we ordered, they said it would be about 40 minutes to get our food, so we got our ticket and walked around Sorrento for a bit. Once we got back, it still took a little longer than that - probably at least another 15+ minutes. There are only 2 ladies working, so the wait is understandable. Once we got our sandwiches, it was absolutely worth the wait! These were some of the best sandwiches we've ever had. We got the Leonardo and Filumen. The Leonardo had a mortadella and stracciatella combo that was creamy and savory combined with a little heat and bursting with flavors from the onions and pistachio cream. The Filumen was a stronger flavored sandwich - smoky from the smoked cheese and speck and intense flavor from sundried tomatoes and truffle pate. We got the panuozzo size - a flatter panini bread - which was nicely toasted and crispy. Wish we had time to try more of these! Vegetarian and vegan options available, so there's something for everyone.

This restaurant came recommended by Elio our private driver for the Amalfi coast. The restaurant closes at 8pm so we missed it the first night and had to go back the next day and we are so glad we did. We had the Michel #8 panini sandwich and it was delicious. Full of flavor. Delicious in every way and perfect crunch for the sandwich. Shared it with my daughter however I wish I would have had the whole sandwich to myself. Can't wait to go back and try a new sandwich.

Sandwiches were complex, balanced, and extraordinarily tasty! Would recommend ordering online however as it took quite a while for our food. Not the worst place in the world to explore while you wait, though.

Best sandwich I've ever had! Better than Pino's in Florence. Highly highly recommend.

One of the best sandwiches of my lifetime! Line was long but 100% worth it. Definitely a must stop on your Sorrento vacation

3.5 and rounded up. The ambiance was nice. Staff and food was ok…read more On a pleasant evening in April I arrived around 7:30pm without reservations and was seated right away for dinner. With about 50-60 seats, the restaurant was only about a third full with most customers seated towards the front entrance. The vibe is bold Mediterranean seaside, with vibrant nautical blue and solid Kelly green accents paired back to white walls, painted floor tiles, and dark wood exposed ceiling beams. Glass vases and other hanging wall decor tie into the same scheme. The inside was bright and clean. I was curious to try their cacio e pepe since I heard this dish originated from around these parts. Their version Spaghetti Cacio e Pepe al Profumo di Limone (spaghetti with cheese, pepper and lemon) €16 was decent, though unfortunately not the traditional recipe I expected to be made without cream/butter. It was a little creamy, not too saucy (as it should be), with fresh pepper and lemon which added a needed brightness. Not bad though a little rich to consume by itself for a meal. The bread that came with meal was a cold, though fresh. Staff was professional and cordial enough though a felt a bit all-business-no-pleasure. Overall dinner prices seemed pretty reasonable compared to other places, with a €3 coperto charge, though interestingly this was the only restaurant where the staff asked if I wanted to tip on top of the bill (I did). Bathrooms in decent shape. Other dishes looked pretty decent, so this would be a maybe return in my book.
