I felt a bit peckish but didn't want a full meal, so I decided to check out this spot. It felt more like a snack shop than a shop I can buy a proper meal. Their signature snack is homemade fries with a variety of sauces that can be sprayed on top or put on the side. They also offered fries with a hot dog or burger. The fries were cut right in front of you, fried and ready in less than 5 minutes. I really enjoyed my fries as they came fresh, popping hot and golden crisp on the outside. They mixed in the right amount of salt and it came in a cone shape cup. The piccolo or small was more than enough for me. Can easily be shared by two people. It came up to $5 euros, but well worth it. I asked for regular ketchup on the side, but really wanted to try their curry ketchup. Located in the popular centre square of Sorrento. I would definitely come back for this tasty snack. I would give it 5 stars, but the service was just ok.

Located on the main strip, this was the perfect break you can get from Italian food. I took the medium size fries with some type of real tasty spicy sauce (not the curry one). The medium size was huge enough to share for two people which we did. The potatoes are cut fresh inside & double fried to perfect hot crispiness. Price wasn't too bad either. Definitely ask for the sauce in a cup & not doused on top & you'll have a less messy experience. You get some giant sticks to stab your fries with but we still used our hands to dip lol. We went back here on our second day & it was just as delectable! Only reason for the missing 5th star is the workers seem unfriendly with a scowl on their face. Cheer up! Haha

Need a snack and a break from Italian food? Then this place is the answer. The fries are crispilicious and cheap! They have 3 sizes (s,m,l) and plenty of sauces to choose from. You get one kind of sauce with your order that they drizzle over your cone of crispy fries. My friend wanted to mix 2 sauces and they charged extra for it (0.50 euros).

Great place! Would highly recommend. Really cheap for pretty big portions, and the fries were amazing.

Having visited multiple places in Italy and Sicily the last time, this place stood out as one of the favorite spots on our trip. Of course we had to stop by again, and we were not disappointed. When in Sorrento, lemon pasta is a must, but I have the say that the true star was La Genovese pasta, which was recommended by our server. My husband still liked lemon pasta best, which means you really can't go wrong. Their bread was also delicious, particularly the white bread and the breadsticks, and they give you balsamic vinegar and olive oil for it. Considering most of the bread we had in Italy was surprisingly disappointing, it's exciting to eat somewhere that the food is good from start to finish. They also gave us one scoop of limoncello and one scoop of lemon gelato for dessert. Both were delicious, but my favorite was the lemon gelato. This is our second time back, and we would not hesitate to eat here again the next time we're in Sorrento. Servers were also friendly and helpful. The food does take a while, but that goes to show that it all is freshly made. This place is great whether it's for a casual dining experience or for date night. They also have free WiFi, just ask them for the info. I love that it's also a family establishment, and family members work at the restaurant. I'm already looking forward to my next visit here.

My pasta bolognese was a disappointment. The sauce was sour and barely a trace of meat. Unlike other restaurants, they seem to specialize in table turn over.

Busy place but worth the wait…read more Our Airbnb host recommended this restaurant for local food at reasonable prices. Apparently every other Airbnb host did the same because there was quite the line waiting to get inside. We waited about 20 minutes and the line moved quickly. Kudos to the staff who were excellent and interacted well with us both while in line an inside while eating. Everyone seemed so happy here. Once seated we ordered drinks and the stuffed zucchini appetizer. The complimentary bread was on target. Very good. One of us had lasagna, another had the fish, another had the Gorgonzola Ravioli and I had the Gorgonzola Gnocchi. I tried all the dishes and they were all yummy. Very well done and tasty. We shared the Lemon Surprise for dessert and it was sublime. So tasty. I highly recommend this restaurant but be prepared to wait in line for seating.

Although the place was packed, but service was pretty fast. For antipasti we ordered the Prosciutto w/ Melon, Octopus Salad, and Grilled Mixed Vegetable. Meat dish we opted for Pork Escalope w/ Mushroom Sauce, and T-bone Steak. On pasta dish we got the Paccheri with Cod Fish. Everything we had was delicious, tasty grilled veggie, tendered meat, flavorful al dente pasta cooked just right! By the time we finished the waiting line was all the way to the corner of the street! What a great meal, and I definitely recommend it.
