Literally a hole-in-the-wall Mom & Pop convenience store with pretty good made-to-order Vietnamese food. Their lemongrass chicken is tasty and their bò lúc lắc looks delicious. The sister at the counter is super friendly, nice, and accommodating. I wonder what their pho and other dishes taste like.

Who would have thought a liquor store would have decent Vietnamese food at reasonable prices? I was here for 30 minutes and only saw people getting food. Maybe they should change the name of their shop. This place is in the Pacific Grand condo. Entry is through the lobby or through a back door. Menu on the lobby door is out of date. Prices are $2-$3 higher now. Don't let that deter you. The prices are reasonable and the food is tasty. They will even let you order stuff not on the menu. I ordered the spicy lemongrass chicken but on rice noodle (bun) instead of rice. It came with a small basic salad. For $13 I thought it was a fair price. Not huge, but filling enough. They have 4 tables in the store for dine in which is convenient. And hey, if you need a liter of Vodka, or a 40 to go, they have that also. Brown bags optional.

Beef & Eggrolls with Vermicelli Noodles & Thai Iced Tea $18.10

I was introduced to this awesome convenience/liquor store by my cousin. When she told me they have Vietnamese food and good musubis, I was sold. Yes, they serve hot, delicious local and Vietnamese meals inside a liquor store. I got the THAI TEA and BEEF & EGGROLL with VERMICILLI. When I ordered they were quick and friendly. The wait for my food, was not that long. You can either order to go or to dine in. There are tables and chairs available to eat inside. The THAI TEA was decent, it sort of tastes like cotton candy for me, but it wasn't overly sweet. It only comes in one size, served iced in a styrofoam cup which gives a good grip. The BEEF & EGGROLL with VERMICILLI was delicious and surprisingly flavorful coming from a liquor store. Made to order and the beef was cooked well topped with garlic chips and onions. The Eggrolls were crunchy, slightly over cooked, but it was delicious, especially dipped in the sauce. Which is like a sweet fish sauce with some red chilis. It does have a kick, a little on the spicy side, but not too spicy. Definitely, check this local ma and pop convenience/liquor store.

This is the best convenience store in my opinion. They have alot of various items, foods, drinks, and snacks. They also have a menu which everything they make themselves and it all taste great. I personally love their pho, banh mi, garlic shrimp and vermicelli. You can also choose to dine in (only 2- 3 tables available) for a quick eat if you dont prefer doing take out. They also make normal sandwiches, musubis, fried chicken (during lunch), and more. Their fruits are very fresh as well! I have been coming here for years, i don't know why I have never thought about leaving a review until now. Very lovely vietnamese run store.

Small convenient store that also sells random dishes such pho, spaghetti, etc. This place truly represents the word convenient as I have bought items such as paper towel rolls, milk, ice cream, lighter fluid and many others. The prices are a bit on the higher end but I'll acknowledge that it's the price to pay for convenient items. There are a couple of tables where you can eat and watch some tv. Temperature is similar to that of an office building so if you're walking in the hot sun, hungry, and the mall is still a far walk? This may be the place to go. The owners/cashiers are not overly friendly but definitely not rude either. Knowing they close at 10 pm is also a good thing in the event you have the munchies and walking/live in the area. My latest journey there involved buying strawberry soda. I know I'll be back for more!

I recently went to the 24 Fitness on Kapiolani and was looking for a drink to guzzle after my workout. I had worked in the area for about 9 years before recently moving employers so I am quite familar with the area up until April of this year. I headed to CK's Delights & Grocery but was to surpised to see that this place was no more. Instead in their old location, a new store popped up in their place --Amana Liquor. They are located in the same building as Shillawon, the entrance across from the entrance of Shillawon. If you're familiar with CK's, they also had a snack bar type restaurant that served some local foods and Indian food. The Indian food here was actually pretty good so I was a bit disappointed when I saw that there was new ownership and there was no longer any type of local or Indian food, rather it was now Vietnamese food. I was a bit hungry so I decided to chance the Pho. I wasn't expecting much I figured it would be in the same level as something like Bale. They have a little area next to the grocery shelves where you can actually sit down and watch TV. They normally have ESPN running so it was perfect for me. I waited about 10-15 minutes, my guess was the made things on order which was no problem for me. I have to tell you I was quite surpised when they brought out my beef Pho. It was actually pretty darn good. Better than what I was expecting. It looksl ike they use some beef brisquet to make some of the broth. The broth was pretty good, it even had a savoy taste to it. I'd actually go back and order more then next time I head to the gym. If you havea chance, check it out. They also have other Vietnamese food items available like Pho Ga, sandwiches and plate lunches.

The food is unbelievable! Sometimes there's a line out the door, but the team is efficient--so always wait! This location is in Chinatown on Maunakea. If you're lucky, you can snag a metered parking spot nearby. Pho Que Huong is super clean, and I love how they decorate for holidays. Family-owned, this local business is very welcoming. Plenty of tables. Clean restrooms for paying customers. The food and drink are made with utmost care. The produce is always fresh and clean. The pho broth is unmatched. Not too sweet, lovely and aromatic. Portions are generous for the price point. Vietnamese coffee is a must! Strong and sweet--yum! The spring rolls even taste "healthy" here in that they're not too oily, and made with fresh ingredients. The customer service is always on-point, whether eating in or taking out. Note: They do not offer XL size for takeout. I think it's sweet they don't advertise otherwise, since they don't have the proper containers for that amount of food. The service here is quick and efficient. And even though they can get really busy at times, they're still cranking out the food and beverages in a timely manner. As for the food, it's definitely comforting and delicious. The different pho broths (chicken, beef, etc) are all just right, not too oily, not too salty. I didn't even have to add in any condiments to enhance the flavor. The Banh Xeo is a huge portion, that can be shared amongst a party of 2-4. Street parking is located right out front, there's also a parking structure out back, with an entrance into the establishment directly from the parking structure. I will definitely be coming back here for more!

I heard they will keep this space for special events. The restaurant is quite busy and I'm glad we had reservations. Good thing I was there prior to lunch hour opening, otherwise we may lose our reservations since the person who made reservations tends to be habitual in arriving late. We dined in May, but it's been awhile since I first dined here. I preferred dining in Chinatown during lunch time than at dinner. Our waiter was really nice and helpful. I forgot his name, but I remembered that his eyeglasses that he wore was cool/funny, since the frames for each eye didn't match the other eye! lol. Funny it wasn't me who first noticed it. One was square frame and the other was a round frame! The restaurant doesn't do anything special for birthdays except may write Happy Birthday in chocolate on the dessert plate that you purchase for the birthday person. Their desserts are unique and refreshing. I think there are some rotating desserts /flavors like their seasonal menu for their main menu. I guess you can always keep coming back without being bored of the menu! I was bummed to see a previous dish posted of a pasta that I wanted to try that wasn't on the current spring seasonal menu! When we dined for brunch over the weekend, I was able to get the Hainan chicken with the crispy roast pork combo. It was very filling , tasty and satisfying. I do love ginger sauce on the cold ginger chicken but sometimes the chicken is just okay. This Hainan chicken was really good and the chicken was really moist! I thought it was the best I've tried! It was good that I wanted to takeout one last time in August before they moved! No more the 50/50 combo with the crispy roast pork on the lunch menu during the weekday. It was on the spring menu. Of course it's best to eat it in the restaurant than for take out. Bathroom is a must for me when dining out and they had only one shared bathroom for everyone! There was a guy who tried to make several attempts but wasn't successful, since there was always someone in the restroom. I'm glad the waiter told me there was a bigger separate bathroom with several stalls for men and ladies upstairs. You go straight through the kitchen to catch the elevator and to another kitchen /storage area! Thank Goodness! Best wishes at your new location. You offer yummy and tasty food!

When we arrived, we were the first guests so got to pick our table. When we sat down at the pretty wooden booth, there was a happy hour menu on the table. What?!? And YAY!! There was a 2-for special on the cocktails and you could select from the full menu which featured an extravagant and eclectic selection. There were wine and beer specials too but we were here for the cocktails. From the happy hour menu, we ordered the vegan spring rolls, chicken wings, and the Bo Ne Steak--a Vietnamese breakfast with bone marrow, cubed steak, sunny side eggs and a baguette. I can vouch for the spring rolls, light and crunchy without being oily. I don't eat land animals but my friend said the wings were divine. And they give you gloves to eat them. So civilized (ha) and a nice touch! She loved the bone marrow and steak. There was so much food she didn't finish it so I took it home to the hubby who devoured it. No complaints and only smiles from him! I wanted to try a couple pescatarian dishes from the regular menu so ordered the lemongrass clams which was AH-mazing! Could have been my favorite dish of the night because the flavors were unexpected but undeniably good. And, the garlic salmon bun (vermicelli noodles) was fantastic. The fish was cooked perfectly and the sauce was savory yet light. I've never seen this option at any other Vietnamese restaurant and it certainly elevates the traditional dish which usually comes with meat, tofu, or spring rolls. (You can still order the bun with these options and they let you choose your protein combos.) Finally, (I told you there was a lot of food) we ordered the banana blossom salad. I rarely see this offering at other Vietnamese restaurants. It's hard to describe but I refer to this dish as the red-carpet version of the green papaya salad. It's more dressed up and sophisticated. A real treat and a must-have if you're dining at An Di Dzo. Parking was easy since it's at Ward (by the theaters or you can park anywhere in the village). The restaurant is clean and modern. And the service was courteous and professional. Our server Alex was great and made the evening extra special. An Di Dzo is open for lunch and dinner. The food was actually very tasty! I enjoyed everything I ate. Which kind of shocked me, being that town is more of a touristy area and I wasn't expecting to get decent pho! We ordered banh mi, rice noodle w bbq pork and spring roll, and banh bao. The food came out really fast and was beautiful and delicious. The vermicelli was the best - I could eat that every day. You got plenty to choose from even with picky eaters so you're going to find something for everyone here IMO. We opted for the pho noodle soup and the dry hu tieu which is like a noodle dish with side soup. Flavors were amazing and were only enhanced with their house made lemongrass oil which you can self serve. The place is a bit small but we were lucky to get seated immediately on a Friday lunch. Would love to come back here over and over on my trip, but may have to make decisions since there's so much food to try! The restaurant is a peaceful serene like place and has that Chinatown like theme, showing maybe the age of the place so don't expect modern classy vibes. Also there may be a bit of a language barrier so if you can speak even a little Vietnamese, maybe try pulling it out. Otherwise, just point to the dish on the menu to order! They do accept card here btw. Parking is Chinatown so try the municipal lots for cheapest option, street parking is also possible.
