In short: They ghosted me, even though they came highly…read morerecommended. Not sure what to make of this. In long: I needed a plumber and got a referral to these folks. I called and everything seemed normal enough. Kinda had that family-business vibe, like maybe the "office" was the house and family answered the phone. The person who answered the phone had trouble with my last name, street name, city name, and zip. I was just repeating and repeating, but that happens, so no big deal. She then said she would text the info over to the tech "right away." I knew the tech couldn't be sitting around waiting to drive to my house, so I asked if I should expect a call back tomorrow, today, or later in the week. I'm having this entire conversation with my work persona, very laid back and curious, no pressure, but she bristled HARD at this question. Huh? "Well! Huh! Um, I said right away. He'll get it right away." What? I'm curious how busy he is and when he can fix my sink...I am in no way questioning your ability to send him a text. I'm sure he's busy. "Right away" is the same as 30 minutes or more if he's on a job, so I am good. We hung up with no ETA for a call or an appointment. That was 3 full business days ago and no sign of them yet. I'd go one star but they did come recommended by someone I trust completely. Overall, though, I'd look elsewhere for plumbing help.

I really appreciate their excellent customer service and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable plumbing company.

I've been taken advantage of by a lot of plumbers in the past because I'm the "mom" but I manage all our home repairs. I literally said I was willing to pay more just to guarantee that I never have to deal with a water main issue ever, ever again. He told me TO MY FACE THAT HE WOULD HANDLE GETTING THE PERMIT FROM CITY. Our water main broke and flooded our yard the first day of my husband's new career as a teacher and both my kids' first day of school. Needless to say, I was a little busy. All I wanted was a damn new water line. I was 100% willing to pay for a top-of-the-line brand new line. The installation of the new line appeared to go great and Done Right had a cool drill for boring right into the earth without needing to dig a trench. Great! I thought all was well! However, about two months later, we discovered that our brand new, SIXTEEN THOUSAND DOLLAR water line DID NOT HAVE A PERMIT!!!!! I went to the City to be repaid for all the wasted water since we had the line fixed immediately and at that time the City informed me that we didn't even have a permit for the line. Ugh. I don't have time for this. "Done Right" did NOT do right and needs to come back and get us our proper as-built permit.

Several plumbers tried and couldn't solve the problem. Kaizen Plumbing was different. Kajik, the technician, was able to properly diagnose the issue and come up with a solution that avoided tearing apart my bathroom. His attention to detail and problem-solving ability were impressive. This is the kind of company you want for complicated valve issues, especially in older or custom bathrooms. I now recommend them to family and friends without hesitation.

They sent it to the wrong place and it took almost 3 months to get the repair done, the whole time we had no hot water. I called over and over and kept being told the manager was working on it. Then it went to an AI voicemail service. I went to their office and found it is a vacant office. I had someone else call and they answered for a while but still no part. Then she was sent to the AI voicemail- clearly dodging our calls. I finally had to call from a 3rd phone and they said they would overnight the part. Didn't happen. Two weeks and 3 calls later, they got the part, but charged us $532 where the part should have been under warranty. He said it was because he had to pay for the part that should have been free. If they had ordered the part to them in the first place that wouldn't have happened. I would have just gone with someone else, but the part had to be ordered by the company that ordered it apparently. They are having me send the payment to someone's home instead of an office. Clearly that's because they don't have one and why they didn't have the parts sent to them. Be wary!
