While I was here, the guy suggested an order of bacalhau fritters. As you may or may not know, bacalhau is known as one of Lisbon's many traditional foods. Having never tried any types of fish cakes, I took his suggestion and ordered one. Initially, I wasn't impressed but ultimately the salted cod fritters eventually grew on me. If I must describe it, these fritters reminded me of fish sticks except maybe just a tad on the fishy side. For an abundance of food and the cheap price, I'm glad to have found such a place!

The Papari Masali (papadums) were decent, as were the Chamuças de Frango (samosas). An order of jirra rice is definitely enough for 2. My wife had a spicy chicken curry dish that isn't on the menu on the web site. I had a Seekh kabab, a grilled minced lamb kabab. It was good, but overcooked. The total price was 36 Euros, including beers, which I have nothing to complain about. All in all, it was, as I said before, mediocre. The server and staff were friendly as always. We will probably return for a late night curry after a night of Bairro Alto drinking, but there are other Indian restaurants in Lisboa that have been recommended by an Indian friend that we will likely pursue for a planned dinner next visit.
