And the food is top notch up against Indian food anywhere in the USA, and superior to anything I've had in Europe outside of London. Standard north Indian fare, with some Goa specialties added to the menu. The naan and tandoori roti were very well executed. Aloo-gobhi was more wet/saucy than I prefer it, but the flavor was great and the texture of the vegetables was good. I am vegetarian so can't judge the meats, but suspect they would be good given the spice and quality of the vegetarian dishes. Make it a stop if you're in Lisbon.

Unfortunately, Jesus has passed away but his business is still running strong! Get the holy burger. You have to. Do not leave without trying it. The burger is marinated in spices and topped with an egg yolk and some more spices on top which pack a flavor like you wouldn't believe! Not just flavor, more like an experience. The way the flavors and textures progress in your mouth are incredible. Phil said it so I didn't have to - the flavors are making sexy time. I've never had anything like it. Highly recommend!

We started with paneer tikka and chicken tikka--both came in generous portions and were freshly made. The chutneys paired really well and added to the overall flavor. We also had a bottle of Piano red wine, which surprisingly worked quite nicely with the food. For the main course, everything was delicious. Standouts for us were the butter chicken, palak paneer, biryani, prawn curry, and garlic naan. The food tasted very fresh and well prepared, and you could tell care went into each dish. Service was fast despite the size of our group, which we really appreciated. Most importantly, everyone had a good time--especially the kids. Overall, a very enjoyable meal with great food and warm hospitality. Would definitely recommend for both small and large groups!

Didn't really expect to find a Nepalese restaurant in the Alfama district within Lisbon. But since…read moresome members of our group were really craving spice, we ended up here. It's a relatively small place with only a few tables. I had the Mushroom 65. I should start with the fact that they absolutely delivered on the spice levels. I asked for mine four-star, and this was the perfect level of hot - enough to feel the spice but not so much that it's actively painful. The mushrooms are cooked very well, and remain quite crispy. I'm happy to report the curry, which I also tried, retains the same level of spice. The downside of this place is the amount of oil used is just way too excessive. It amalgamates and pools at the bottom of the container, no matter what the dish is. This contributes to the flavor but only to a certain amount. The portions are pretty large for the relatively cheap prices. Overall, this is a pretty decent spot for a very different style of food. 8/10

My favorite dishes were the rogan chicken and the chicken biryani. Definitely a must in Lisbon!
