Where do I start. 1st the elevators are constantly being repaired or not functioning properly very inconvenient when you have to walk upstairs with several bags of groceries. When they are not working you find out on your own without lease office notifying the tenants. Vehicles can parked in undesignated spaces as well as handicap parking without a displayed of their placard for months without being moved. Rollaway doors to underground garage are always nonfunctional. Which include the new ones that have been installed. My vehicle window was broken into and the leasing office did not care and did not offered to assist what so ever. All they cared about is receiving their monthly payment of the place you rent out from them. Glad to say my horrific experience of this place is over. I am FIRM believer in judging a place to live by not only how it looks but by the STAFF and how it's RAN. And this staff is TRULY amazing! I have lived in over 6 apartments in San Diego (military) and ALX goes ABOVE and beyond for the people who live here. ALX is a family and by far the best place I've ever lived. Shelby and Liz are what I consider the "dream team". If you are looking for a beautiful place to live with a team who truly cares about you not only as a tenant but as a human with needs, this is your place!!! Staff is available 24/7 on and off the clock and every email/call is treated with urgency. Anything you need they have you covered. I recently toured ALX with my wife and I have to say, I was really impressed. The place has a modern vibe, and everything looks well-kept and fresh. The one bedroom apartments are spacious compared to most downtown and the apartment interiors are timeless. The outdoor spaces are lush and peaceful, especially the gorgeous roof top pool. My wife was obsessed. Our leasing agent, Shelby provided a wonderful tour and was very knowledgeable of the building and location. She made us feel right at home. We are also avid Padres fans and love the convenience of being so close to Petco Park. We are definitely considering ALX as our next home and can't wait to work with the team further! read more

I lived here for about a year. It's a beautiful building, great amenities, the pool is amazing. However, I am a mother to a small child and the area is not that child friendly. A lot of homeless people, police activity. I saw a man defecating on the street with my son in my car and I knew that's when I had to get out. Very, very expensive complex but it is very luxurious and nice. It's not really want I am looking for at this stage in my life but it was a great experience. If you're young, can afford the exponentially ridiculously high rent but want a very nice building with great features, this complex fits the bill. I really have no complaints. Just couldn't justify the high rent and the area is not ideal. I will not miss east village. East village is a dump but the complex was awesome. read more

Every large building will have negative aspects but so far everything's been great. Whatever issues in the past they had with packages has been taken care of as we've had no issues with close to $2000 in packages being delivered by Amazon. Area nearby is filled with homeless but not much different than anywhere else in downtown. Alx always have security patrolling outside and inside throughout the day so other than 24 hour security not sure what else they could improve on. Additionally, every gate, elevator, and essentially door requires a key fob to enter so that in addition to a security presence makes one feel quite safe. Overall, the security have all been very helpful as well as office staff, in particular Nicolas. We'd definitely recommend to our friends and can't wait until the amnesties open fully without restrictions. read more

I find it important to write yet another review about this place - as 3 years after move out, I am now having a phantom amount of money being sent to collections for move out costs. I was sent THREE different move out inspection bills. One for $278.80, a separate one for $158,04, and then one two years later (magically) for $376. I moved into ALX on 5/15/21, and thus far my initial impressions of the building her are very poor. Let's start from the beginning Lease Signing Process - Worked with Nick and Al in conjunction, as they have different days off throughout the week. During the initial showing, everything was fabulous, Nick was courteous and showed us everything we wanted to see. We asked specifics such as pet fees, parking for 2 adults in a 1BR (tandem vs individual), EV parking spots, ect. All was answered on day 1, we just didn't love the view, but had a few months before our move in date so we waited. Al showed us the apartment below what would be the our new home since Nick was off that day, and again all was good. When I was ready to sign, there were red flags with regards to lack of email communication from not only the general email listed on the website info@alxliving.com, but also both their personal @greystar emails. Crickets for days on end, until I would call and was able to get someone on the phone (which is rare as they are many times out of the office showing apartments). Eventually we got the lease, but there were some errors, which were corrected 2 days before our move in date (been trying to sign for 2-3 weeks prior). I wasn't allowed to get the key fob until move in day, OK fine, but there was only one employee and I was left waiting for Al to finish a tour x 45 minutes to get my key fob so I could access the apartment to inspect prior to the movers dropping our stuff off. So I run back to our old place, work with the moving team, and get the truck to ALX only to notice that the loading dock is blocked by another box truck. I go to the office, stating that I reserved the loading dock and moving elevator, only to be told by the asst manager "oops, double booked, nothing we can do". After some heated moments, we agree to get a resident elevator, but due to the limited size of the resident elevators vs freight as well as the inability to use the loading dock, the move takes an additional 3 hours resulting in an out of pocket loss on my end. Finally got the stuff moved in, ready to set up internet, ATT modem confirmed, delivered, but its locked in the locker system (Luxor One) which wasn't set up, along with door access via butterflyMX or Reliant parking app for parking. Should have been part of the move-in checklist done by staff but again OK, worst is over, right? Go to take my car down to our assigned parking spot, and there is a car there. I walk back up to the Al's office and am notified on my move-in date that our parking won't be available until 6/6, 3 full weeks after our lease starts, but we're welcome to use guest spots, of which there are ~10 for the entire building. Since move in- Fast forward to yesterday, 6/7, where I'm excited to finally get my assigned spot and not fight for guest parking with the rest of the building (during Padres season no less), and we're told the resident extended their lease until 6/26 and now we must continue to wait. (albeit they did refund our parking costs for the month) They tried to restrict guest parking but that has done little to alleviate the parking situation as evidenced by our space being continued to be pushed out. And EV vehicle wait-lists are 7+ people long, while there at gas only vehicles parked in EV spots because that is their answer to find more spots for cars. Microwave sensor was broken on move-in, ticket entered for replacement, and was immediately closed saying to simply use timer and that the sensor doesn't work. Hot-tub upstairs has an emergency shut off button that residents hit that puts it out of commission until its manually reset by maintenance, which is not available on nights when its most used. Initially the pizza oven wasn't working due to an OFL error, and sat down in person and sent 2 followup emails a week later to Asst management, finally had to escalate to the community manager to get a response to put in a ticket to get it fixed. Also noted in other reviews, trash chutes are non-functional more often then they are so you'll have to walk your own trash and recyclables down. Overall, the take home points are that despite what staff may tell you in person, their communication and concern to actually fix your problems are very poor, and while they're good at listening to your concerns and writing things down as if they will followup on them, you can expect them to be ignored until you get tired of complaining. Despite your best efforts are reminder emails and in person reminders, you're likely to get nowhere with any problems you have, no matter how you try to work with them, and stay on top of communication yourself. Pros: Amenities are nice, and most of the residents I have met here are pretty welcoming also. Building is overall pretty clean, but not sure how often the hallways get swept, theres been some clutter that has been there since I moved in. Lobby and front area are always kept clean though. read more

I personally do not live at the building but my bffs do. The Amenities are beautiful. BUT 4th if July weekend was the worst! Broken glass in the elevator, the pool on the 18th floor was trashed and all of the grills were broken. The smell was horrible! I was so disappointed and would NEVER suggest my friends and family to live here!! The weekend after the 4th I was visiting and my BFFs got me a spot in their guest parking spots! I was excited that I didn't have to pay for parking. Welp! That was not the case. I was towed! I was on the do not tow list!! I was told 19 cars were towed that night! Where in the heck was security during the weekend of 4th of July and the weekend my car was towed?! Oh he was chilin in the room by the front office watching tv! What a freaking joke! My brother and I moved into this building in August. We were so excited to move into this building. All the trouble started the day we moved in. Our air conditioner didn't work that same day (the middle of summer), and we were assured that the a/c worked and it was just because "it hadn't been ran in a while". We had the maintenance men in and out of our unit about 12 times (half of them actual service requests) for the same issue in about a month and half. Instead of fixing the problem immediately or being honest about what was wrong, they performed the bare minimum. It took them about 6 times before they actually ordered the part to fix the ac unit which delayed the process even more. Our ac was finally fixed at the end of October when the weather was already cooling off. My parents were staying in my unit when I was away and they had to go and stay in hotel because the ac went out again. That was an unexpected cost for them and my brother was trapped in his room because our entire apartment was like a sweat box. Our unit was unlivable, I had to stay elsewhere for almost a month because I couldn't sleep comfortably. I left so many emails and messages for management but absolutely nothing was done and it's like pulling teeth to get a response. All we got in end was "We're sorry but...". I was given a temporary ac unit that was BROKEN. So then I had requested for another temp ac. The management and maintenance were just dancing around the issue and not giving any straight answers. This was the hottest time of the year and everyone knows who was here in the summer, that it was unbearable without a/c, especially when we are paying so much in rent to have a working unit. We had to pay $600 for the a/c and it didn't even work for the first two months we were here. We went to management with our concerns and to be quite frank, they could care less. We have had issues with our dishwasher starting in November, and it took them four times to come and fix the issue properly. I have never had so many issues with a management team. There is always an excuse and delay in fixing the problem at hand. The trash chute was also broken the first month and half we were here. I would recommend to live elsewhere. I have never had to leave a complaint or a bad review on any apartment I have lived in. But I honestly think everyone should know what they are getting into when they sign their lease! read more

I'm not sure where to start. Don't let the amenities fool you. Living here has been an utter nightmare to date. The maintenance crew is incompetent. Yesterday, I sent in a third request to have the dishwasher fixed. They have come out twice saying they fixed the leak. Yet, water continues to run from under the dishwasher. Oh, btw, they've entered my unit without my consent on two different occasions. Maintenance supervisor Gave me an excuse that he misunderstood the maintenance order. Ummm yeah sure. It clearly stated in more than two orders to call and schedule a time to enter my unit. I have a pup that gets super anxious and wanted to make sure she wasn't in the unit while they entered. Yet, they entered both times without notice and left my door unlocked on both occasions. It's been about 3 months now and I'm still waiting to hear back as to what they plan on doing with my dryer vent. Heat from the dryer gets pushed into the unit. Particularly, the closet. Breathing in the fumes is always a breath of fresh air around here. The control panel and lights in fridge is yet to be fixed. Been at least 2 months on that. The trash rooms. Omg!! I don't even know where to begin with this. The shoots never work. The trash rooms are disgusting. Guest Parking: So, this property offers guest parking for a small fee. Which is great. But, what they don't tell you is is that these spots are on a first come first serve basis. I paid for a guest spot back in February. Yet, there was no available spots. My guest had to park in the street. Fine no problem. I then called Reliant parking to notify them of the issue and to request a refund. I was told that they do not issue refunds. The spaces are on a first come first serves basis. They sell guest parking spots even after the spots allotted are taken. Scammers!!!! And then there are the residents that have recently been leasing here. As you can see in the video (link below) they are upstanding people that care about their neighbors and the people around them. I lived at the Alexan from 4/19-9/20 and generally enjoyed my time here. As is the case with any communal living situation, especially high rise apartments in downtown SD, everyone's experience can vary drastically. I was lucky enough to live in the high rise portion of the building which I heard was generally of better build quality. Overall, the complex itself is beautiful. The lobby, common areas and amenities are top notch and have a very elegant but modern feel to it. Before the pandemic, the management team did a good job of having monthly community events too. My only complaints would be occasionally noisy neighbors (not Alexan's fault) and trash chutes that were out of service sometimes. Overall, I loved my time here at the Alexan and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice, high rise to stay in downtown. Shout out to Elaine (manager), Al (manager) and James (security dude) for everything they do to keep the place up and running as well as being flexible with me when I had to break my lease and move out early. read more

I couldn't be more over this place. It is a lovely building - with lots of nice amenities. But, I wish I knew that there are a lot of homeless people and drug users that hang in the area. I've seen people shooting up drugs - out in the open; on the streets near the building. I wouldn't walk alone east or south from the building. There is an ongoing problem with the hot water in the building. Earlier this year the water was affected for at least three weeks off and on. Management kept emailing that it would be repaired in a day or two. And then a few days after that we would get another similar message. The problem has returned this month. I am disappointed with how the building's manager has handled rent in the times of COVID. Although the regulations don't require setting up a payment plan, she continues to push that I create one. I feel empathy for others that may be in a similar position and scared to tell her to f* off. However, when I asked her if there would be a discount to residents because all of the amenities were shut down, she quickly informed me that we are experiencing a global pandemic. When my lease is up, I'm moving to Little Italy. read more

RUN AWAY! ELAINE may be the worst manager I've ever met. Rude, dishonest, will lie to your face just like the rest of the staff. Issues/Concerns: Constant, ongoing challenges getting hot water. According to state laws, landlords are legally required to maintain livable premises for tenants. Zero hot water for two weeks is considered unhabitable. For a "luxury" community, this is 100% unacceptable with little to no communication from Alexan management. Airbnb guests and other visitors who trash the hallway, vibrating the walls at all hours and requiring us to call the police as recently as two weeks ago. We heard multiple voices singing along to the blaring music next door (508), clearly violating city stay-at-home orders. The next day, we heard maintenance discussing units that were booked for Stay Alfred guests. Who at Alexan ALX is doing the decision making here? Allowing units to be booked during the pandemic is not only putting the lives of residents at risk, but it also seems downright illegal. Furthermore, there were two shootings within the last two weeks at Airbnb parties at Pinnacle and IDEA1 - why are buildings allowing these gatherings to happen at all? The 2nd-floor courtyard is not secure. It provides easy access for any person to be inside our community. One morning, a random homeless person jumped the gate in-between the dog run and 2nd-floor gate. We immediately alerted the front desk, yet the same person has been spotted inside of Alexan multiple times... I have had multiple packages gone missing. We have had to spend hours disputing with credit card, shipping, and retail companies to resolve a very preventable issue. The resolution for all shippers to leave packages in B1 is far from ideal, as this didn't solve anything. If anything, more packages have gone missing and been unretrievable since this change. Management puts the entire fault on Luxer who incidentally puts all the blame on Alexan, providing zero resolution.   Response to maintenance tickets with "completed" when zero action was taken. Second-floor dog run, cigarette butts in the stairwells, unanswered repeatedly, and after two years of living at Alexan, not a priority. It is hard to see such a beautiful building be destroyed as rents are increased and service/ value declines. Al & James have been two of the best employees and very helpful.  Amenities have been closed for two-plus months. This has saved Alexan significantly in terms of cleaning, labor, depreciation, and significantly reduced the value of our experience at Alexan. Lied to during the leasing process about the construction next door which began within months of our initial lease with Alexan and continues to this day with endless banging and blaring noises from 7 am - 5 pm, 6 days per week. I was told the neighborhood was "revitalizing" as the homeless issue outside our building has significantly worsened, leading to Alexan neighbors being attacked & robbed without a single notice from your management team.  There was a positive COVID-19 resident, and you took days to alert the building, risking the lives of residents and staff. read more

Just wow! Beautiful luxurious apartments! The staff on sight amazing as well! The complex has multiple lounge places for residents to have a get together or a small party. My personal favorite was the onsite speakeasy. The pool and jacuzzi were amazing with the San Diego views and BBQ area. The apartment models that I saw were a 3 bedroom penthouse and 1 bedroom. The penthouse was 2 stories with the kitchen, 1 bedroom and balcony being upstairs and the rest downstairs. The 1 bedroom was small (hotel room size), but had a roomy bathroom. I would love to live here, but pricing is definitely a factor. That's not say something in the future it won't happen. read more

I love the building, and the cleaning and security staff are gems. It has a great wow factor but that lasts about 1 month and I appreciate consistency above all else. Management lacks heavily and a lot of things that I have not had issues with in the past in other places that would be something to consider when signing due: 1. Constantly Broken appliances and aesthetic pieces with no addressing for months until it seems to be brought up repeatedly. 2. Overcharging on rent outside of agreement terms. 3. Response rate of emails is way too slow usually a follow up is necessary but I understand that. 4. Do something about the dog park SMELL and about the FREEZING business center... People use that space for work and it's not possible when it's absolutely freezing. I know I know but it's connected to the lobby AC. ok well then separate them or buy a heater or do something about it but there is a solution. For the dog park hire someone to scrub the turf down and spray it or do something. Also fix the hallway sign that should say 201-217. For a luxury building, please just treat it like it is that. read more

Where do I start? The building looks great and is a great place to tour. Unfortunately, my stay there was not was I was expecting. The management service is not what a luxury building should have been. I had issues with the apartment for the first 5 months: from shower not draining, to shower door falling couple times, to not having hot water from May to September. I have had the maintenance team in my apartment for about 25 times in the first 5 months for pretty much the same issues over and over: hot water issues. I have paid my bills every month (including how water for these months) and when it came have them do anything for us they hemmed and hawed and offered $300 for the inconvenience. We asked them to revise this and they scrambled for another month to offer a decent $2000 concession for the inconvenience (that, when you pay a $4000 a month rent and don't have hot water for almost 5 months). Pest control. We had ants over the summer coming from the balcony in. First time I addressed it I was told the pest control will come in next week. Next week when nobody came in, I checked again with management. I am told now that the pest control will come in the following week. Next week again, I still have the ants coming in the apartment. 3 weeks later I am told my apartment was sprayed but when I share the photos and the videos I just took for them the front desk checked the logs for me, it showed that our apartment was never sprayed. So, for 3 weeks I had ants coming in from the balcony that they did not address. Moving out, I cleaned the apartment. Move out fee: I am told that if you clean your place; you will still pay partial cleaning. My final bill included: $170 cleaning (when before the move out I am told a $145 cleaning fee if you don't clean at all) +$55 carpet cleaning (no damage or stains on the carpet as we had no pets and would take our shoes off in the house, or had any stains on the carpet) + $225 painting prorated for the stay. A total of $455 move out fee. I reached out to management as this is not what we discussed before my moving out. A week later and my third email to them and the same answer - I will get back to you by the end of the day or tomorrow - with nothing more. I called 3 times and left 3 messages with no call back. I had to remind management via email that per CA law I should not be charged for normal "wear and tear" and that we need to discuss these charges and that they need to adjust the bill for that; to finally get a very formal email answer that my lease states that I need to leave the apartment in the same condition I found it. If I would like to discuss further, to let them know. Well, I've been asking via email 3 times this past week and called 3 times, left messages with the team and still no return to my calls. Once again, here is again how management handles things here. I was holding off adding any review, but the way we were treated by the management just left me no choice then to share my negative experience at Alexan. Bottom line: This management does not understand what their job entitles. Most of the time, they ignored my requests so I had to ask the same thing multiple time, and when they responded, their responses were along the line: "I will get back to you by the end of the day", and no follow up, or "this is the contract you signed" or "I don't know". If you have any issues or need management for anything, they are not helpful at all, and rather dismissive. It is unfortunate that a luxury building doesn't understand what luxury service is. read more

Unfortunately, my boyfriend and I have had a very poor experience with Elaine and Al with ALX. Al used the classic bait and switch by promising we were next in line for a parking space in order for us to fully commit and move in as it was a big determining factor given it's downtown. Elaine and Al have since gone back on their promise after us committing and moving in under premise that we'd get a parking spot this past week. They have insinuated that we are lying and have been very unprofessional and rude. We are leaving this negative review as a warning to others that ALX unfortunately cannot be trusted as they used the classic bait and switch move and have handled and treated us and the situation poorly. The overextended parking issue is very real and is a very big problem for not only us but others in the building. The homeless population has overrun the streets in that direct area surrounding ALX and the construction workers have very poor parking etiquette. The Padres stadium and its parking lot are next to the building as well. In conclusion, I will gladly revise this review if they show they can answer to their fraudulent representations. read more

We loved living at ALX. We spent the last 5 years living in San Diego on a temporary work assignment and lived in 3 different places with Alexan ALX being our favorite. It has the best amenities and the best management. There is a wonderful sense of community among a great diversity of people. It seems there was a 'special community space' for everyone. There are more community spaces than anywhere else we have seen. The whole building has the WOW factor and I was always proud to show guests around. Having great management really made the experience special. Al Jordan goes above and beyond to help in any way he can. Nick and Elaine are also wonderful. Everyone is there to help and make things flow smoothly. I highly recommend Alexan if you are looking! Oh yes, we looked at most all in Eastl Village, Gaslamp and Cortez Hill and found the prices to be best for what you get! read more

I would have loved to give the ALX 4-5 stars. We have lived in the building for five years, and the maintenance staff and certain security guards have been amazing. We have considered leaving but ended up staying due to those particular staff. The amenities are beautiful and the rent is competitive for the area. The issue arises when upper management (Greystar) is involved. Our apartment flooded about 3 weeks ago and management left us on our own to sort out where we should live with our renters insurance. This in itself is not a problem, however, we are almost 4 weeks into the ordeal with no end in sight. The building management has not offered any compensation unless we request/demand it, and communication has been fair at best. It is a bummer to admit that a building we have given five years of on-time rent to repays us with shotty service and no compensation in the face of an emergency that was the buildings fault. TLDR: great amenities and good value until things go wrong, then you're on your own. Renter beware. read more

I lived in alx for over a year. Al was such an amazing property manager. Safe parking lot, the security was so kind, it was always clean in common areas. I didn't work from home so I didn't notice the construction sounds. I worked with Elaine while moving out and she was responsive and helpful. The service request were always done fast and the service workers were always funny and fixed any issues. I would recommend Alx to anyone who wants to live in east village. I was sad to leave but I had a new job opportunity. read more

My boyfriend and I just moved out after a one year lease and I wanted to give an honest review. We relocated here from out of town and I wish I had listened to other people about some things before we did. First off, this is a gorgeous building with lots of amenities and very helpful staff! Despite others reviews here, everything on our floor was very quiet and clean. On whole, the inside of the building is well kept and maintained and the security team very friendly as well as trustworthy. I can only give two stars because of the location. While I always felt safe inside the building I cannot say the same for the outside or even in the the court yard due to the increasing homelessness that tend to flank one or more sides of the building at a time. Coming from San Francisco, we thought this would be nothing but actually I cant even recall how many times I was followed home yelled at or had my dog threatened by homeless living here. A homeless dweller even broken into the 2nd floor courtyard not once but twice. Reaching the end of our lease, I no longer felt safe bringing my dog anywhere to go to the bathroom, especially if I was alone. I work from home so I am often home when my boyfriend is at work but it got to the point where I would wait for him to come home just so I could take our dog out to use the bathroom. Having a dog here is definitely an added burden. Most of my friends and coworkers tried telling me that living in Downtown SD is not the greatest for kids and dogs but I didn't believe it because soooo I see soooo many dogs! I have found that a lot of people living downtown actually own older dogs or they rely on pee pads inside. I want my dog to be able to run around and play without safety concerns and this is just not the case here. I wanted to love living Downtown and have visited many times during my lifetime but living and visiting are VERY different things. Downtown has lost its glimmer and while its fun to visit, the car break ins, the filth and the daily harassment or threats to me or my dog are simply not worth it. ALX is perfect for the younger single working professional and so is much of downtown. These apartment high rises cannot keep up with the homelessness and filth that comes with it. It costs too much to live here to feel this way and I know a lot unfortunately do, there's a reason why so many people move in and out of the area within a year. I've been touring and searching for my next home in San Diego and I was pleasantly surprised by the amazing staff that helped me at ALX! They have the best amenities for somebody who works remotely and is a short distance away from Gaslamp, The Bay, and even Little Italy. This place has been a nightmare since day one. Mind you this building is only a few years old. I think it's reasonable to expect some basic comfort. It started with one of the employees living above me with her boyfriend and making noise complaints on me a couple times a week whether I was watching a movie or listening to classical music reading. Can't even live in my own place w/o constantly being harassed. Then the hot water stopped working on and off for a 6 week period. (I'm told by Maintenace my apartment is farthest from the source.. so hard to get hot water) Then they couldn't get my AC to work until August! 3 months of heat with a panting puppy. Then again a year later hot water is out for a 2 week period. (Freezing cold water only!) The worst part of all this is they don't care at all. I asked to be compensated $1000 since I couldn't shower for two weeks and they offered me $250 with the clause I wouldn't say anything) When I email management it takes them anywhere from 1 week to 4 weeks to return my inquiry) However, when it was time to renew my lease they messaged me multiple times per week Just to pour salt on the wound.. every night bums sleep outside my window (east village sucks) and as I'm sure you've seen in other posts.. good luck finding your deliveries! I count my blessings everyday realizing that I wake up in the Alexan. The building: Impeccably curated, designed, and maintained. It's like being in a luxury hotel, all the time. It smells good everywhere you go, and the amenities are top notch from the gym, the club and gaming rooms, to the rooftop deck with sweeping views. The sunsets are fire btw. The building has an app to handle all maintenance and accessibilities. Even the mailroom and the storing of deliveries is impressively efficient. My move-in was easy. They held a freight elevator for as long as I needed, and it went by swimmingly. The people: Donovan gave me a thorough and comprehensive tour of the building, and was very inquisitive and patient about my needs and expectations. He also followed-up when he said he would, and was prompt with all of my paperwork. We got along very quickly, and he gained my trust almost instantaneously. Al is one of the Resident Managers who is super on-it to say the least. He is professional, responsive, friendly, and always eager to help. I always feel like I'm in great hands with Al and Donovan, and that makes living here that much better. Do the tour, mention me as your referral if you sign the lease, and we can celebrate with champs in the club room read more

The apartment homes here are super luxurious! Everything is high-quality and screams modern-chic. Do you know that they have a speakeasy in the building? Ask to tour it when you visit for a tour. The rooftop pool is always filled with eye-candy and the views just go for miles. Shout-out to Devin and Elaine, who are just absolutely amazing! They don't have a lot of apartments available cause they go so quick, but schedule a tour and see if they can find something for you. I hear the summer specials are pretty sweet right now! read more

Unimpressed with customer service. Emailed leasing staff and asked for a reply by email. They phoned me & were only interested in getting me into building for a tour. When they finally replied to my question & made it clear they are only accepting 15 month lease terms ( in spite of suggestion on their web site that other lease terms may be available) I declined the aggressive sales approach. Likely the staff is trained to get everyone in and not answer questions that might discourage tour appointments...so it's in the management company not the employee.... and by the way... maybe be clear on your web site that "ONLY" 15 month lease terms are accepted as opposed to what you wrote. Just saying... treat potential residents with respect. read more

I moved into Alexan end of February 2020. Lets start with the fake promises. I was told before signing my lease I will be guaranteed an EV charging space for my tesla. I moved in, and no one from the leasing team told me that the spot they were going to give to me is not available for another 2 weeks as the person whose suppose to vacate has not yet vacated. In the meantime I had to hustle and bother them to ask to use a charger for my vehicle. I would not have left my previous building if there was going to be an issue here with charging my car; my main mode of transportation. Next issue I have is my dryer blowing heat into my walk in closet; creates tremendous amount of moisture and mildew on my clothing. I had put in a work order, the team took a look and said they would look again after the pandemic; welp, still issues with heat blowing into my closet. I was offered by Elaine to use the washer/dryer in another unit in the meantime, I politely declined as I am not comfortable taking my ER scrubs and dirty laundry around the floor.Tiny issue? I think not for a luxurious new building with not so cheap rent. Another issue I had when I moved in, the balcony door was jammed. The leasing agent, Joshua said he would have it taken care of, not taken care of before I moved in. Okay not a big deal, but then it took 2 weeks after move in for them to hire someone to fix it. Is it fixed completely now? No. The water is extremely hot. I have had to run it on the cold water side for about 20 mins to get lukewarm, also put in a work order, nothing changed. I took my dog to the pet station to give him a bath, because you know that's what the pet spa is for; and my dog suddenly screamed and the water just turned randomly from warm to BURNING HOT and it would not cool down. So now I have to wrap him up with soap all over his body and pray my water in the apartment will be cool enough. I don't expect such issues from a building built it 2017/2018. The utilities are ridiculously HIGH. I lived in park12 (highrise across the street) for 2 years and never paid $30+ a month for just trash alone. I had asked Al Jordan about the utilities and I did not get a real answer or the methodology used to bill the utilities. I will attach the pictures. Its an extra $100+ per month for rubbish. Thanks for leaving all the reviews guys I definitely considered living here because of the view but after all the legitimate complaints about dirty windows and stealing of packages, no hot water and unhelpful staff, I will definitely be taking my money elsewhere. read more
