ZERO STARS!!! I was given an ETA of one hour.. TWO HOURS LATER, still no ETA! I keep calling and all they keep saying is the driver will call when they are on their way and NO CALL WHAT SO EVER. After waiting for TWO AND A HALF HOURS I called them back and they didn't answer! I kept calling and they kept sending me to voicemail! This is ridiculous! I have NEVER had this problem ever with no towing company!! They didn't even try to send another truck, nor did they offer a discount. This company is NOT LEGIT! read more

The reviews here for this place are 100% accurate! After waiting for 3 hours with lots of "be there in 30 minutes" texts, they finally just ghosted me and stopped answering the phone. I canceled and now they'll likely lose their corporate contract too, but it'll help us all here because of that (and their awful dispatch.) Avoid at all costs, and 0 stars if it were an option. read more

I first contacted another towing service. That other service after an hour and ten minutes switched me to "Always Towing" this happened at about 4:50PM. After waiting for 2hours, I made several efforts to contact "Always Towing". I got thru and was given excuses and the runaround, my calls put on hold and never picked up again, told I would receive a call back in 30 minutes, never did by 8:30PM I gave up and canceled. The service I received was completely horrible, it totally felt like I was getting scammed. read more

4/24/2023. My battery was dead at home. told it would be 1 hr. insurance covers a tow. then was told half hour more. It was more like and hour and a half more. The 3 rating is because when the driver finally arrived he was polite, got my car on the truck in maybe 10 minutes. I followed him to the service center where he unloaded and parked the car. My experience with the driver was very positive......time to get to me..not so much! It's a good thing I was at home and not on the side of the road! read more

I called them 530 pm to be winched out of ditch they told me hour 4 hrs later no show no call !!! Do not use these people unreliable!!

Called for a tow December 29. Said they would be out in 90 minutes. 5 1/2 hours later they called to say they were in their way, but now the dealership would be closed. So had to cancel. Called again 1-4-23 at 11am. Now at 4pm we called another tow company. Terrible service. Will never call them again read more

Called our Roadside Assistance hotline and they contacted Always Towing. We were promised a tow within about an hour. I received texts along the way with driver updates. I used the site link in a text to find an interactive map with our location marked and a "tow truck" icon showing the driver's exact location. PERFECT view. Our driver Ron arrived within an hour as promised. Before loading the van that would not start, he checked under the hood (no, the battery was fine), tried starting it - no luck. He tipped the flatbed tow truck bed , hooked up the cable and began to pull the minivan up. I was nervous and was pleased it loaded without incident. We HAD to have a flat bed truck since the van is AWD. Drove to our dealer without incident. Towing with this company was seamless. THANK YOU to all involved read more

I was assigned this towing company by my insurance at 1:30 pm told me it will take them 1 hour to come. After 2 hours I called to check on them they and they said 20 minutes. After 3 hrs called to check on them they said driver is on the way. After 3 hours and 30 mins called to check on the driver they said 15 mins and then called the service on me. Now they are not picking up my call. They are unprofessional people, it is better to cancel service and go with someone else. They are big liars and unprofessional people. read more

Two employees had their truck break on I-480. Driver wouldn't let them in cab - company policy due to Covid. Wow, even with masks, the company policy would rather strand a customer on a freeway instead of protecting them from a dangerous situation. read more

Horrible. I was assigned this tow company by my roadside assist from my car manufacturer. At 1:41 they called and said they would be here in 60-75 minutes. At 3:10 I called and they said I was next on the list and he should be here in 20 min. At 3:50 I called again, and again was told I was next and it would be 15-20 min. At 4:01, I got a call from the roadside assist case manager as my case had been escalated. She was trying to find someone else to come. It is currently 4:53, and Always Towing appears to still be Always Lying to their customers because I still have not seen them nor received a call with an update. Just to clarify, the weather is perfectly fine today so the delay is not due to bad weather. Don't worry, I called AAA and that driver should be here soon read more

I let the driver into my parking garage to tow my car and as I took the stairs to get to the floor my car was parked on, he just left and wouldn't answer any of my calls. The dispatcher was helpful but the drivers are 0/10 read more

Called at 9:48 AM for a tow. Was told about 30-45 which is understandable. Time now is 12:30 and still no tow truck. Called multiple times and was told wait about 30-45 more minutes. (The location of the company and the spot I needed a tow were about 13 min drive.) I cancelled my tow request. Don't tow with this company they are terrible. Save yourself the time and headache and find another company. Just look how many other bad reviews this company has had. read more

This place is not very good about time management I called and needed a tow and was told 30-45 min wait ok great 2 1/2 hours later the truck shows up (mind you it was 18 degrees out side) once the truck showed up everything was GREAT the driver was very nice and well skilled read more

Worst service ever. Rude receptionist and they claimed the job was completed and didn't even pick up my car. Worst ever.

This place is extremely slow. No call to inform me they were going to be a hour later than the estimated time. When I called the customer service was horrible. read more

Lied to over and over. 1 hr. Wait went to 4 hours. I finally got a tow from Champion towing who was very polite and within 30 minutes. I called Always towing numerous times and continued to get new estimates on their estimated times and each person I talked with said it must have been somebody on the earlier shift that quoted me the time frame. This was a VW roadside assistance call. My wife and I were left stranded in a bad area. Finally they told me to call someone else. Two years prior, I chose to use them myself and called a day in advance to have a car picked up that I purchased and was guaranteed they would be on time. I waited 3 1/2 hours with the same multiple excuses. NEVER AGAIN! Worst business management ever. read more

Hyundai contacted them to tow my mother's car to dealer. Quoted Wait time 1 hour. 4 hours later the tow shows. Mom is upset obviously. Tells guy they won't make it to dealer in time. He said no wonder why no one wants to help you with your attitude. He drives like a maniac to dealer. Closed as mom said it would be. He drops her car & leaves her there. She said you cant leave me stranded. He said IM NOT A TAXI I got other jobs!! Left a 63y/o woman stranded after business hrs! Then he complained to dispatch so they ignored my mom's calls after he dropped her car. read more

This place is ridiculous! Ive waited over 2 hours for a tow. The lady on the phone seem bothered that I called ONLY 3 times to check to see what's going on, when she finally forward me to another towing company because their "too busy" . If I could give this place 0 stars I would. On Jan. 17th one of their tow trucks was towing another vehicle and hit my vehicle. The tow driver drove away without leaving any information. I retrieved camera footage of him hitting my vehicle and driving away. There were also plenty of witnesses who approached me after to let me know what happened. I reached out to the company, showed them the evidence and they continued to give me the run around. First the owner was going to reach out to me then she was miraculously out of town and still hasn't returned any of my calls or emails and that was two months ago. Any one who would hit someone's car and not take responsibility should be ashamed. They are not aware of my financial situation and left me to pay for something that was their fault. Karma exists and I do not easily give up that is why I have retained a lawyer and they will pay no matter what. This company should not be in business. Very unprofessional. DO NOT USE THEM!!!! read more

This place is very slow. I don't know why my insurance company continues to use them. Driver ran 3 red lights.

Abolsute TRASH of a company. Complete JOKE. Why roadside assistance even bothered calling them considering they NEVER SHOWED UP. & don't even bother calling them because they'll just instantly hang up on you. Wish I could give ZERO stars. read more

0 Stars... Only place that would tow my motorcycle at 11pm Didn't arrive at the time they said Motorcycle fell over on their bed which was covered in oil Driver said he spoke to the manager and that they wouldn't pay for the damage...i was with him the entire time and he had made 0 phone calls or texts. They still billed me for the tow but paid for the damages to the bike...I had to call several times asking where my check was read more

Just used this company 30 mins ago. They were on time, driver seemed friendly. Towed me to walmart where I have road hazzard on my tires. It was 68.00 for the tow. So we get to walmart, but there is no tech to do the tire change. So I asked the driver to drop the car and I'd put the spare on. The driver immediately says "I'll change it for you" ...so I said ok, tipped him $12.00, and went about my day. All Ways towing is billing me 43.00 for changing my tire. I was never told about the fee before the driver changed my tire....totally Un ethical business practice. I thought the driver was a pretty good guy, but when asked, his side of the story, he didn't give the truth. read more

Just tried calling them and was immidiately put on hold for few minutes and then hung up on. When i tried back a second time, i was sent straight to voice mail. The last call i made the same thing happened as the first call. I was immidiately put on hold and then a few minutes later hung up on. Maybe they were just busy or maybe it was the phone but either way we ended up going with another company. read more

One star is being overly generous for this company. A 90 minute toe has now turned in to 2 1/2 hours. I called the company and they really didn't seem to care. They are contracted by Chrysler, Jeep, and Dodge. They could care less how long you wait and how much you're inconvenienced. read more

Always Towing & Recovery is a poor establishment due to the unprofessional staff and lack of customer service. My vehicle was towed weeks ago and some damaged was caused by the tow company. I filed a dispute immediately and my issue has not been resolved as of yet. I barely receive return calls, but when the mechanic does phone me- it's during the hours I'm working (as I've mentioned numerous times when I've called and left messages). Clearly, that's poor customer service and it's ridiculous to do "business" like this. read more

I am furious at how long it's taking this poor excuse for an tow truck company to get to me. I called a little after 8am, here it is 11:45am and they are still not here. They missed the first eta and made a sorry excuse they got hung up on the last job. Gave me a second eta and still haven't arrived. At this point I'm boiling mad. Avoid them at all cost! read more

Waited just under two hours for a tow "within the hour". Made it a point to ask about a ride in the tow truck on the phone due to the pandemic (I wear gloves and a mask, and have hand sanitizer in the car). He said it wouldn't be a problem. Driver arrived and said I couldn't go in the truck. No ride. No tow. read more

Do not even bother to call them. I was broken down on 271 I called and they said someone would be out in a HR maybe less. I call back in a HR they said they were a half HR away then a HR goes by they still were not there I tried to call them back multiple times no answer. I had to call a different company. They got there in 25 mins. so if you need a tow call someone else. Vitalones is who I had come when "always towing" was a no show. read more

Why can't they just be honest up front and tell you it's going to be a long wait instead of "we'll be there within the hour." Toyota contacted them for my tow, but had to find another company after they didn't show up. Where's my option for zero stars? You're just going to get frustrated! read more

Excellent service! Surprised to see the bad reviews. I was given the standard 1 hr waiting time, but the driver arrived in 20 minutes. Ben was very knowledgeable, very kind, and personable. The whole process was so easy. I definitely recommend! read more

After over 2-3/4 hrs of waiting and lying from Always Towing, we contacted another company that arrived in 10 min! SafeCo, our insurance carrier, contacted Always Towing to schedule our roadside tow, we were notified it would be 1 hr, when they were late, Always Towing told SafeCo another 10 minutes, then the next call was an additional 15 minutes, then the 3rd call was not sure when we'll arrive. Always Towing continued to lie that they were on the way. Then after 2-3/4 hours they gave a BS story that there was an accident that had a priority; if that was the case why wasn't that shared during the previous 4 calls when they said they were "ON THEIR WAY"? They're a bunch of liars with no concern to leave people sitting in a car on the road for almost 3 hours. read more

They don't even deserve 1 star. Called to get a tow 11am. Lady called and said there was an accident that took and the tow guy would be a while. This company gets a 1 star rating ONLY because thats the lowest rating I can provide. Our insurance company - Nationwide - uses this company for their towng services. We called today at 1:47 PM and were given a time of arrival of 3:30 PM. After at least 6 follow ups directly with Always Towing - and being told EVERY time that they estimated 15 - 18 minutes until arrival - 6 1/2 hours later our car still hasn't been towed. Three calls to Nationwide - and they have dispatched a new tow company with an ETA of 40 minutes. Always Towing repeatedly used the "excuse" that they had "State Trooper" calls that caused the delay - even though there are NO weather-related conditions to warrant this. On the second to last update, Always Towing claimed the driver was 10 minutes away and just refueling his vehicle. On the last status update with Always Towing ONE HOUR later (not the 10 minutes to refule the vehicle), they claimed the estimated tme of arrival would now be 15 - 18 minutes. When confronted with the status update of "refuelng vehicle", they used the "State Trooper - beyond their control excuse". If you want your car towed, you'd be better to select another company. Review update: This company continues to lie. Nationwide canceled the tow order for Always Towing and dispatched another Tow Company - Blaze Towing (216-978-2803) - who I would highly recommend. Blaze Towing called us 45 minutes after being dispatched - and 15 minutes sooner than their initial ETA. They couldn'd find the vehicle - it was gone! We called Nationwide - who investigated the situation directly with ALWAYS TOWING. Always Towing out-and out lied and told Nationwide that our vehicle had been picked up 3 1/2 hours earlier. When we called Always Towing directly ourselves, they claimed the vehicle was picked up just minutes prior to Blaze Towing's arrival - 10 minutes earlier. Hopefully, the repair facility to where the vehicle was supposed to towed - whihc was now closed - can verify they have our vehicle in the morning. Use Blaze Towing! read more

Never PREPAY them. They charged us $250 and couldn't even jump start a 2016 truck. Poor service. Ignorant staff.

Left Stranded!!!!! So unprofessional! Stranded on the side of the road in a snowstorm-- I called my insurance company to get a tow to a garage. After 3 hours I received a call from my insurance company that this towing company could not come get my car. Very unprofessional waiting three hours to call my insurance company to let them know they were not coming. When I called them to find out what happened they just kept putting me on hold. Do not use this company!!! Call someone else. read more

I've used this company four times now each time they've been at minimum an hour late. This time I use them they were three and a half hours late and sent the wrong type of truck even though they knew what I needed was a flatbed. Tow truck driver told me that he was going to brake my oil pan and there was nothing he could do about it and it was too bad for me. I ended up sending him away and canceled the service call. That's the second time I had that same driver named Ron and he's been rude each time. If you call and complain about them being late will tell you the drivers a few minutes away and then just wait they tell you the same thing over and over and over and the tow truck driver shows up whenever. I got this service through my roadside assistance with State Farm next time I'll request a different company. And I highly recommend unless you have absolutely no other choice not to use Always Towing for any of your services unless you have all day to wait around for them. read more

I was given a wait time of 50 minutes - sitting here nearly 3 hours later and the truck still hasn't arrived. The very polite person on the phone has told me "just 15-20 minutes" twice now. I understand traffic, busier schedules on weekends, etc but this is inexcusable. Very frustrated. read more
