    The movers scratched the hardwood floors to my new home. I requested pads to be place on the floor to protect the floor and to not track dirt in the house. Austin did not place pads on the floor but on the porch stating that they would be fine with bringing it in. I also had three legs to my bed and two of my couches broken during this move. He sent someone to sand the scratches but the job was incomplete. Austin stated he would fix the issue but my calls and text messages are not being answered. He charged me $800 more than the estimate price. I tried contacting YELP to get assistance but the company stated he was not yelp guaranteed mover on 11/5. My only option is to take him to court and sue for damages and lawyer fees. I would definitely not recommend this company because he did not fix the issues his team created.

    Very professional…read more I hired him to put together a baker's rack purchased from Amazon. Negotiating the time and price was easy, and the price was reasonable. Then he came when he said he would, did what he said he would while I worked from home upstairs. Took a little longer than expected, but in the bounds of a reasonable estimate, and no upcharge. All in all, I'm very satisfied, and would hire again for similar sized jobs.

After talking to the manufacturer we have now realized they installed the two panels that form the side of the drawers upside down. In hindsight, you'd think the fact that the top drawer would only fit in upside down would have been their first clue. They actually left that drawer in the cabinet like that, the other three drawers on the floor because they're unable to be inserted. Instead of realizing their mistake they just tried to get the drawers to fit, damaging all of the drawer runners in the process. So now we have to pay for new drawer runners and for someone knowledgeable to disassemble the entire table, install the new runners, reverse those two panels, and then reassemble the entire table properly. They were also extremely unprofessional, both swearing like truck drivers downstairs while we had guests, rather than telling us they were running into problems with the assembly. Maybe they could handle a simple piece of IKEA furniture, but DO NOT let them touch any expensive pieces!

The only thing I believe could be made more clear was that there is a high transportion cost on top of what you pay for the actual move time which is for their time to drive to your location and back. My move came out to exactly 3 hours which was the estimate but that did not factor in the $100 transportation fee which I feel is excessive and should just be factored into the estimate.

Absolutely pathetic and I hope they are held accountable as I have reported Bell Labor and Moving Services in our U-Haul Claims, and also with the Better Business Bureau and Chicago Consumer Bureau. I would strongly caution anyone considering booking with Bell Moving and Labor Services. Our experience was extremely disappointing and added unnecessary stress to an already stressful moving day. We scheduled two movers for 2/21 at 10:00 AM to help load our belongings into a 26-foot U-Haul truck for two hours. We booked the service through U-Haul, expecting professionalism and reliability. Unfortunately, the movers never showed up. The manager I spoke with, Devonte is the name he mentioned, told me both over the phone and via text that the two movers were on their way. However, he never provided a confirmed ETA and repeatedly pushed back their arrival time. We waited with no clear communication and ultimately no service. No follow-up, no accountability -- just empty assurances while our moving timeline was completely disrupted. In my opinion, this experience felt deceptive and completely unprofessional. Moving is already overwhelming, and this company provided zero support or reliability when we needed it most. We have reported this business to the Better Business Bureau so that others are aware of our experience. I also believe companies that promote third-party services, like U-Haul, should take greater responsibility in vetting the businesses they recommend. Customers trust these referrals. They responded swiftly with a fair price, time, and clarification for the project. Bell Moving provided a flat rate for 2 hours with 2 movers and a box truck that. The owner introduced himself by name at the start of communication. Was always cordial and responsive. Please note that this was a service requested the same week. The night before there was confirmation of the moving arrangements. The day of, I received a call to keep me posted of expected time of arrival and point of arrival. The young men, Diquan (owner) and Donavan, were very pleasant with in-person introductions and hand shakes. They were in their company labeled pull-overs with gloves at the ready. They got right to work. They were careful and quick. They were not put off by suggestions for navigation of the move at the pick-up site. They packed the items in the truck with awareness of spacing and care of the items (which included a mirror). I received a follow-up call when they reached the delivery address. They asked where each item should be placed. They were aware of difficult room entries and made adjustments without damaging the property. They let me know when the last item was off the truck and being placed in the appropriate room. There were various ways to pay, which was discussed prior to the day of the job. I rendered payment at the end. They thanked me. I thanked them and asked for business cards to share. I will be recommending them and using them again. Thank you guys!
