I was in the area and was ready for lunch, so I thought I'd give this place a try. I received a warm greeting upon entry and was handed a menu. I knew before hand I was going to get it to go, so I sat at the bar. The restaurant is spacious and is filled with TVs and art work. I wanted something light and protein filled, so I went with the lunch fajita mix which is made up of chicken and steak, and accompanied by rice, beans, lettuce and peppers. I asked that the sour cream and onion be removed, which didn't seem to be a problem.
While I was waiting, I paid with a $50.00 bill. My total was $17.67 which meant I was due $32.33. She went ti the back and came back with my change and food except she only handed me bills and no change. I thought it was a bit odd since usually that's discussed at the time of presenting the change whether or not they can keep it. No, there was no discussion but she didn't have the right to short me on my change.
The food itself was ok but lacked flavor. I'm always surprised when I eat fajitas because they're either going to be flavorful or they could use some work. I'd put these as in-between because they're not bad but they're nothing to write home about either. The chips were average but I enjoyed the salsa!
Overall, this was an ok visit and if I come back, I'll definitely use a card next time. read more
