Single Fajita Tons of food. Very good.

Very Nice Restaurant. Very good service, fast, clean and a fun atmosphere. Very attentive and the food was hot and sooo good!

First time here. When you walk in, there's a good size bar. The restaurant itself is pretty good size. I believe this used to be an IHOP back in the day. There are a few seats outside on a patio. I ordered the combination platter. It had a Chile Relleno, rice, and beans. I would say it was average. The Chili Relleno was pretty small. I'm not sure if I would order that again. I did see someone have the burrito California and it looked delicious. I might need to try that next time. They did bring chips and salsa to the table. The restaurant was decorated very festive. I loved the big massive wood doors to the restrooms. I believe their wait staff pretty much pulls all their tips together, and everybody helps out where needed. They were very attentive and we got our food really quick.

We've been here several times and it never disappoints. Very good solid family owned with consistently good service good authentic food and drink. Reasonably priced and we always enjoy it

My mom and I ate here the day before Mother's Day. We sat on the patio since it was nice out. We split chips and queso (what I was craving), a frozen strawberry margarita, and she got the chicken enchilada lunch special while I got the chicken burrito meal. We both enjoyed our food and the service. Only bummer was the marg came with a sugar rim after I had asked for it to be a salt rim. Would definitely go back though!

Our family typically frequents a competitor down the street but noticed their food and service has been slipping lately so we thought we'd try somewhere new. El Agave was fantastic! 10/10! Our server Rigo was attentive, always making sure our kids had refills and that our food was just right. He was funny and a fantastic server. The food was delicious, served quickly and everyone loved what they ordered! We will definitely be back! Such a great ambiance, margaritas were delicious! Make sure you come and see for yourself!

Absolutely love this place. Servers are always attentive and friendly, food is always fantastic, and the restaurant is clean and well maintained. The menu is extremely well priced and they have daily specials. The service is so quick for a sit down restaurant too. Always make it a point to eat here when I'm in the area.

We are here on a Friday evening so there was no close parking we had to park in the Home Depot lot. We wanted to sit on the patio so we had a bit of a wait . 30 minutes I do believe. Well, we were waiting on my husband and I got margaritas and the kids got strawberry sodas. The bartender was great and we got served quickly . Food was pretty good. Noting too wildly impressive: The flan was curdled. The texture was way off. Our server was wonderful and on top of things. For a family of 4 our bill was over $200! I thought that was a little much.

This restaurant has a surface lot with a decent amount of parking spaces. I ordered a frozen strawberry margarita and my friend ordered a raspberry margarita. We both felt our margaritas lacked Tequila and later ordered shots of house Tequila to make up the lack thereof. Our food arrived within 4 minutes of us ordering. It was very hot as in heat however, my friend ordered chicken Tacos for Taco Tuesday and he believes (as do I) that it was canned chicken compared to my grilled chicken taco entree. He as extremely let down. My Tacos were well flavored, not canned chicken and the salsa, green sauce and Pico de Gallo were on point. Based on our experience i won't be back for the Taco Tuesday deal or Margaritas but may try another entree.

The vibe when we visited was less brewery and more unsupervised playground. Kids were running around barefoot, throwing mulch and rocks, while plenty of parents sat back with drinks in hand. My wife and I, along with several other guests, were repeatedly getting hit with rocks from children running around the property. Maybe this was an unusually busy night, but it was hard to relax or have a conversation between the constant chaos, the trains, and the swarm of kids treating the place like recess. I'd post photos, but every picture is mostly other people's children, and that doesn't seem fair. If you're looking for a quiet drink or an adult atmosphere, you may want to look elsewhere. If you're looking for a place where the kids can run wild while the adults have a drink, you'll probably fit right in.

You can order from the bar for beers/the counter for food OR you can use the QR code. Both are incredibly fast. Like had our food under 10 minutes which was awesome. Bar has something for everyone - some great beers, cocktails, and wine. Peacemaker was good as always. I always upgrade to fries then regret it because their chips are bomb. The only complaint here is the amount of meat/seafood they put on their sandwiches - it's like bread with a few shrimp. For the price you're paying (almost $20 an entree), I feel like you should be getting a little more meat. But at least it's good. I got a burger this time and the patties were seasoned super well and honestly very, very good. Such a cool spot, especially on a nice day. Great spot for beers and hanging out with friends.

We had a good time playing pool and there was a male bartender making our first drinks that was very friendly and conversational. We enjoyed a couple rounds of pool and watching the World Cup game then we left before karaoke was about to start. Bar itself has plenty of seating and nice lighting for the bottles. It was very loud when we visited, not because of the karaoke, so it was a bit difficult to speak with the bartenders. I guess people were having a good time! There are lots of drink choices at reasonable prices. There is also food, which I didn't try. For the karaoke, you go up to the KJ get into the queue, and then add your songs across the evening for each of your turns. There was quite a variety being sung. You sing in front of the fireplace. There is a little bit of room to dance around the edges but not much. Despite being a "nonsmoking" bar, there were patrons vaping indoors and there was a cigarette smell inside (perhaps wafting in from the smokers outside?). The ladies bathroom was very clean. There is free parking outside in their attached lot, but you might have to get creative if you get there later in the night, as the lot gets crowded. This bar has a fun vibe for your friend group to go blow off some steam, but probably not a good place to take a first date.

A one of a kind dive bar that is great for Blues games. Originally a filling station in 1904, it converted into a tavern in the 1930's. Grandfathered with local liquor licensing, TGI almost went extinct in 2010 when longtime owner Frank Rodman passed away (RIP). In 2012 it was purchased by former Blues hockey player Jim Campbell and his wife, Jennifer (a Kirkwood native), who did a thorough refresh and renovation. Jennifer's great uncle actually owned the tavern earlier in the 1960s, so it was a natural return to the family. They have a full bar with reasonably priced drinks. Didn't see a food menu (need to confirm cause looks like maybe they used to) but bar snacks (pretzels and chips). Someone ordered pizza delivered which seemed like a good option. The vibe is like you are inside a house, with couches and a fireplace. They have a small back patio to enjoy nice weather and they do allow smoking outside. For games, there's Golden Tee, a jukebox, and steel tip dart board (which was kinda blocked by Golden Tee). If you happen to be in Kirkwood and feeling thirsty, check it out. I'll definitely be back to watch more Blues Hockey!

We started off with drinks and onion rings. We had been told how good the onion rings were so we had to order them - they lived up to the hype! I'm not a beer drinker, but my husband is. He had three different ones and didn't really enjoy any of them. He tried Tidewater Plains, Master of the Universe, and Batholith. I had a Jungleberg cocktail and liked it so much, I ordered another one. The server said they were out of them. There were five ingredients in the drink so I have no idea what they were out of. I ordered a Spicy Ancho Margarita and it was okay. It shouldn't be called spicy, because it is not. I ordered Chicken Wings and Onion Soup. Yes, it was summer. But it was cold and rainy and soup sounded good! The soup was very good - very cheesy and they didn't put a chunk of bread in there to get all soggy, which I appreciated. The wings were okay. They were way too saucy for me. My husband got the Philly and said it was okay, but nothing special. I would have probably given 3.5 stars, but that is not an option.
